Abstract
Description
Embodiments described herein relate generally to a vehicle lighting device.
Some vehicle illumination devices perform so-called line illumination that irradiates light linearly. Some vehicle illumination devices that perform line illumination include a light source such as a light emitting diode and an optical fiber or a light guide.
The optical fiber can be easily lengthened, but there is a problem that unevenness in illuminance and luminance tends to occur.
For this reason, a technique has been proposed in which a plurality of grooves are provided on the reflecting surface facing the irradiation surface of the light guide, and the amount of light irradiated from the irradiation surface is controlled by reflecting light from the plurality of grooves.
However, if a plurality of grooves are simply provided on the reflecting surface, a new problem arises in that a shadow pattern of the grooves appears in the region irradiated with light.
Therefore, it has been desired to develop a technique capable of controlling the amount of light irradiated from the irradiation surface and suppressing the reflection of the pattern.
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a vehicular illumination device that can control the amount of light emitted from an irradiation surface and suppress reflection of a pattern.
The vehicular lighting device according to the embodiment has an extended form, and is provided with an incident surface provided in the extending direction, an irradiation surface intersecting with the incident surface, and a plurality of recesses facing the irradiation surface. A light guide provided with a reflecting surface; and a light source provided opposite to the incident surface.
The dimension of the concave portion in the direction intersecting with the extending direction of the light guide body changes depending on the position on the reflecting surface.
According to the embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to provide a vehicular illumination device that can control the amount of light irradiated from the irradiation surface and suppress reflection of a pattern.
The invention according to the embodiment has an extended form, an incident surface provided in the extending direction, an irradiation surface intersecting with the incident surface, and a reflection surface provided with a plurality of recesses facing the irradiation surface. A light source provided opposite to the incident surface, and the size of the recess in the direction intersecting the extending direction of the light guide is a position on the reflective surface. It is the illuminating device for vehicles which is changed by.
According to this vehicle illumination device, the amount of light emitted from the irradiation surface can be controlled, and reflection of the pattern can be suppressed.
In addition, the light guide includes a light guide having the irradiation surface, and a reflection portion provided on a surface facing the irradiation surface of the light guide and having the reflection surface, and the light guide The dimension of the reflection part in the direction intersecting with the direction in which the distance extends can be changed according to the dimension of the recess.
In this way, when processing the recess, it is not necessary to manage the size of the recess in the direction intersecting with the extending direction of the light guide, so that processing becomes easy.
Moreover, the depth dimension of the said recessed part can be 0.3 mm or less.
In this way, pattern reflection can be more effectively suppressed.
Moreover, the said recessed part can be used as the groove | channel extended in the direction which cross | intersects the direction where the said light guide body is extended.
In this way, since the concave portion can be formed by cutting or the like, the processing accuracy can be improved. Therefore, the consistency between the optical characteristics of the manufactured
In addition, at least one of the depth dimension of the recesses, the number of the recesses per unit area, and the angle between the direction in which the recesses extend and the direction in which the light guides extend varies depending on the position on the reflection surface. Can be like that.
In this way, pattern reflection can be more effectively suppressed.
The light guide may have a curved shape, and the reflection surface may be divided into a plurality of flat surfaces.
In this way, the position of the tip of the cutting tool can be made the same in the cutting in the divided area. Therefore, it can suppress that the process process of a recessed part becomes complicated, or the precision of the depth dimension of a recessed part worsens.

The
The

The material and structure of the
When the
The
The
The
発光素子12は、例えば、PLCC(Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier)型などの表面実装型の発光素子とすることができる。
There is no particular limitation on the type of the
The
The
Further, the
In this case, the sealing portion can include a phosphor. The phosphor may be, for example, a YAG phosphor (yttrium / aluminum / garnet phosphor). For example, when the
In addition, the color of the light radiate | emitted from the

Here, since the forward voltage characteristics of the
A resistor (not shown) can be provided on the
The resistor can be, for example, a surface-mounted resistor, a resistor having a lead wire (metal oxide film resistor), a film-like resistor formed using a screen printing method, or the like.
Note that the resistance value of the film-like resistor is easy to adjust. Therefore, the resistor is preferably a film resistor. In this case, the resistance value can be adjusted as follows. First, a film-like resistor is formed on the surface of the

The

Here, before explaining the
FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram for illustrating the
FIG. 5 is a schematic view of the
As shown in FIG. 4, the
The
The light propagating through the
Further, the amount of light emitted from the
In the case of the
Thus, in the
However, when the depth of the
Therefore, in the present embodiment, a plurality of
The
The
The
Therefore, it is preferable that the
The surface of the reflecting
According to the knowledge obtained by the present inventors, if the depth dimension of the
Here, if the depth dimension of the
In this case, the dimension (width dimension) of the
Therefore, in the
For example, in the case of the
The range in which the depth dimension of the
In this case, an appropriate value of the depth dimension of the
Further, the
When the
In addition, although the hollow-shaped recessed
Moreover, when setting it as the groove-shaped recessed
For example, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 3, the width dimension W1 of the
Moreover, when setting it as the groove-shaped recessed
Here, the light propagating through the
For example, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the width dimension W <b> 2 of the
In addition, the

FIG. 7 is a schematic view for illustrating a
As shown in FIG. 7, the
