Abstract
Description
The present disclosure relates to a control device for an internal combustion engine having a port injection valve that injects fuel into an intake port and an in-cylinder injection valve that directly injects fuel into a combustion chamber.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as an in-cylinder injection type internal combustion engine, one including a fuel supply device that boosts fuel discharged from a fuel pump in a fuel tank by a high-pressure pump and supplies the boosted fuel to an in-cylinder injection valve (for example, Patent Document 1). This control device for an internal combustion engine executes normal feed fuel pressure control for controlling the pressure (feed fuel pressure) of fuel supplied from a fuel pump to a predetermined normal target fuel pressure. The control device controls the high-pressure pump so that the pressure of the fuel supplied from the high-pressure pump (high-pressure fuel pressure) matches the target high-pressure fuel pressure. When the state lower than the predetermined value continues for a predetermined time or more, it is determined that the vapor is generated in the fuel. Further, when the control device determines that the vapor is generated in the fuel, the control device raises the feed fuel pressure to a higher target fuel pressure higher than the normal target fuel pressure so that the generation of the vapor is suppressed. The ascent control is executed. When shifting from feed fuel pressure increase control to normal feed fuel pressure control, the normal target fuel pressure is offset to a higher fuel pressure than before execution of the feed fuel pressure increase control in order to suppress vapor recurrence. Control is performed so that the fuel pressure is maintained at the normal target fuel pressure after the offset.
However, if it is attempted to suppress the generation of vapor in the fuel by the above-described method, it is necessary to frequently increase the feed fuel pressure by a low-pressure pump, or it is not necessary to increase the feed fuel pressure originally. The feed fuel pressure may be increased by a low-pressure pump. For this reason, in the conventional internal combustion engine, it may be difficult to maintain high durability of the low-pressure pump.
Therefore, the main object of the present disclosure is to suppress the generation of vapor in the fuel and to maintain the durability of the low pressure pump that supplies fuel from the fuel tank to the low pressure fuel path.
The control device for an internal combustion engine of the present disclosure includes a low pressure fuel injection valve, a high pressure fuel injection valve, a low pressure fuel path connected to the low pressure fuel injection valve, a branch from the low pressure fuel path, and the high pressure fuel injection valve. A high pressure fuel path connected thereto, a low pressure pump for supplying fuel from a fuel tank to the low pressure fuel path, and a high pressure pump for boosting the fuel flowing into the high pressure fuel path and supplying the fuel to the high pressure fuel injection valve In the control device for an internal combustion engine, when the fuel is injected from both the low pressure fuel injection valve and the high pressure fuel injection valve, the pressure of the fuel supplied to the low pressure fuel path gradually decreases and the high pressure The low pressure pump and the high pressure pump are controlled so that the pressure of the fuel supplied to the fuel injection valve becomes a target fuel pressure, and the pressure of the fuel supplied to the high pressure fuel injection valve is set to the target fuel pressure. The fuel pressure supplied to the low-pressure fuel path is provided with lower-limit fuel pressure setting means for setting the pressure of the fuel supplied to the low-pressure fuel path to the lower limit fuel pressure in the low-pressure fuel path when the pressure drops by a predetermined value or more. Is characterized in that the low-pressure pump is controlled so that the fuel pressure does not fall below the lower limit fuel pressure.
In the internal combustion engine controlled by this control device, when fuel is injected from both the low pressure fuel injection valve and the high pressure fuel injection valve, the pressure of the fuel supplied to the low pressure fuel path gradually decreases and the high pressure fuel injection is performed. The low pressure pump and the high pressure pump are controlled so that the pressure of the fuel supplied to the valve becomes the target fuel pressure. When the pressure of the fuel supplied to the low-pressure fuel path thus decreases, vapor is eventually generated in the low-pressure fuel path. Further, when vapor is generated in the low-pressure fuel path, the pressure of fuel supplied from the high-pressure pump to the high-pressure fuel injection valve cannot reach the target fuel pressure due to a decrease in discharge efficiency of the high-pressure pump. Accordingly, when the pressure of the fuel supplied to the high-pressure fuel injection valve is lower than the target fuel pressure by a predetermined value or more, the pressure of the fuel supplied to the low-pressure fuel path is generated by the low-pressure fuel path or the high-pressure pump. This pressure can be regarded as the lower limit fuel pressure in the low-pressure fuel path, assuming that it is a pressure. This makes it possible to accurately set the lower limit fuel pressure that may cause vapor in the low-pressure fuel path or the like without boosting the fuel by the low-pressure pump. Further, by controlling the low pressure pump so that the pressure of the fuel supplied to the low pressure fuel path does not become lower than the lower limit fuel pressure, vapor is generated in the fuel without boosting the fuel more than necessary by the low pressure pump. It can suppress well. As a result, it is possible to suppress the generation of vapor in the fuel and to maintain the durability of the low pressure pump well.
The low pressure fuel injection valve may be a port injection valve that injects fuel into the intake port, and the high pressure fuel injection valve may be an in-cylinder injection valve that directly injects fuel into the combustion chamber. Further, while the low-pressure pump is controlled so that the pressure of the fuel supplied to the low-pressure fuel path gradually decreases, the fuel injection amount from the high-pressure fuel injection valve is set to be higher than the fuel injection amount from the low-pressure fuel injection valve. May be more. As a result, when the pressure of the fuel supplied to the low-pressure fuel path is gradually reduced, fuel combustibility in the internal combustion engine (combustion chamber) is ensured satisfactorily by fuel injection from the high-pressure fuel injection valve. It is possible to suppress the occurrence of disturbances and stalls.

When the hybrid vehicle is traveling, the
In this embodiment, the injection ratio of the
Further, the
Here, in the
FIG. 2 is a flowchart showing an example of a lower limit low pressure fuel pressure setting routine executed by the
When starting the lower limit low pressure fuel pressure setting routine, the CPU (not shown) of the
Next, the
When the pressure of the fuel supplied to the low-pressure
As a result of the execution of the lower limit low pressure fuel pressure setting routine as described above, the lower limit low pressure fuel pressure PLlim that may cause vapor generation in the low pressure

As described above, the
In the lower limit low pressure fuel pressure setting routine of FIG. 2, the low pressure fuel pressure PL is set to the lower limit low pressure fuel pressure PLlim when the pressure difference ΔPH becomes equal to or greater than the threshold value ΔPHref. However, the present invention is not limited to this. That is, the low-pressure fuel pressure PL may be set to the lower limit low-pressure fuel pressure PLlim after a predetermined time has elapsed when the pressure difference ΔPH is equal to or greater than the threshold value ΔPHref. Further, instead of setting the low pressure fuel pressure PL when the pressure difference ΔPH is equal to or greater than the threshold value ΔPHref to the lower limit low pressure fuel pressure PLlim, the command discharge pressure PL * when the pressure difference ΔPH is equal to or greater than the threshold value ΔPHref is set to the lower limit low pressure fuel pressure PLlim. May be set.
Further, in the above embodiment, the
