Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a reflective material for an LED display device, and an LED element substrate using the same.
In recent years, as an alternative to conventional cathode ray tube type monitors, it is possible to meet the demands for lower power consumption, larger and thinner devices, and LEDs such as liquid crystal televisions and liquid crystal displays that use LED elements as backlight sources. The spread of display devices is progressing rapidly.
In order to mount an LED element as a light source in these display devices, various types of LED element substrates each including a support substrate and a wiring portion are usually used. And the laminated body (this specification is hereafter called "LED mounting module") which mounted the LED element on these board | substrates is widely used as a light source of various display apparatuses, such as said liquid crystal television. .
These display devices are required to improve the luminance of the light source in order to improve the image quality. Therefore, in general, when the LED mounting module is used as a backlight of a liquid crystal screen or the like, light emitted from the LED element is reflected from the side or back side of the light emitted from the LED element and is emitted from the LED element. In order to use the LED more efficiently, various reflectors are installed around the LED element mounted on the module.
As a reflective material for such an LED mounting module, in recent years, a white PET film mainly composed of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and having a multilayer structure including a hollow layer has been widely used (see Patent Document 1).
However, since the reflecting material described in Patent Document 1 made of PET has a relatively high melting point and high rigidity, it is screwed using a fixing fastener or the like for attachment to a support substrate to a rigid substrate or the like. Alternatively, it must be performed through additional steps such as dry lamination with an adhesive, and further improvement in productivity has been demanded. Moreover, since PET has a higher risk of lowering water resistance and moisture resistance due to hydrolysis, for example, compared with general-purpose olefin-based resins, further improvement has been demanded in this respect as well.
In order to solve the above problem, for example, if an olefin resin such as polypropylene having a relatively low melting point is used as a reflective material instead of PET, a heat laminating process is performed at the same time as the mounting process by soldering the LED element. It is possible to improve productivity. In addition, it is possible to improve the above-mentioned problem of deterioration of water resistance and moisture resistance. However, the olefin-based resin is inferior in rigidity compared to PET, resulting in reduced workability, insufficient heat resistance, and curling during heating when laminated with other rigid substrates. The fact that deformation easily occurs has been a factor that hinders substitution with PET when it is assumed to be used for a substrate for an LED element.
The present invention has been made in view of the above situation, and is a reflective material in which a reflective layer is made of an olefin resin, and has the above-described physical properties required for a reflective material of an LED element substrate. An object is to provide a reflective material for a substrate.
As a result of intensive studies, the inventors of the present invention laminated a reflective layer made of a foamed resin film containing an olefin resin as a base resin on the surface of a substrate layer having excellent heat resistance. By providing a reflective material in which a curl deformation suppression layer made of the same resin as the reflective layer is further laminated on the surface opposite to the laminated surface, the LED element has a sufficient function required for the reflective material, and more than conventional LED elements. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a reflective material that is used for an LED element substrate having a reflection layer made of an olefin-based resin and having the above-described properties required for the reflective material of the LED element substrate. it can.
Hereinafter, after describing the reflector of this invention and the board | substrate for LED elements provided with it together, the LED mounting module and LED display apparatus using the said board | substrate for LED elements are demonstrated. The present invention is not limited to the following embodiments, and can be implemented with appropriate modifications within the scope of the object of the present invention.
<Basic structure of LED element substrate>
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the LED element substrate 1 is formed on the surface of the
As shown in FIG. 2, the LED element substrate 1 of the present invention is such that an insulating
The
As shown in FIG. 2, the LED element substrate 1 becomes an

The
As shown in FIG. 3, the reflecting
The
The definitions of light reflectance, diffuse reflectance, and regular reflectance in the present specification are as follows.
The reflectance at 450 nm to 650 nm was measured, and the numerical values at each wavelength were averaged to obtain the reflectance and diffuse reflectance. Further, the regular reflectance was calculated from the reflectance and diffuse reflectance at each wavelength by the following formula (1), and the numerical values at each wavelength were averaged to obtain the regular reflectance. In addition, since it is difficult to strictly measure the absolute reflectance, the relative reflectance with the reference standard sample is usually used for the reflectance. In the present invention, barium sulfate is used as a comparative standard sample. The reflectance in the present invention is determined by attaching an integrating sphere attachment device (for example, integrating sphere unit ISN-723) to a spectrophotometer (for example, JASCO Corporation V-670DS), using barium sulfate as a standard plate, and using 100 as the standard plate. It is a value obtained by measuring the relative reflectance in%.
(1) Regular reflectance (%) = reflectance (%) − diffuse reflectance (%) (1)
If the above-mentioned light reflectance of the
The diffuse reflectance measured by the above method of the
The regular reflectance calculated by the above method of the reflecting
The
The total thickness of the reflecting
The
On the other hand, the

The
Among the olefin resins, polypropylene resins such as propylene homopolymers and propylene-ethylene copolymers can be preferably used as the base resin of the resin composition used for producing the foamed resin film constituting the
Copolymerization of propylene homopolymer, propylene as a main component, and α-olefin such as ethylene, 1-butene, 1-hexene, 1-heptene, 4-methyl-1-pentene as the propylene resin Coalescence can be used. The stereoregularity is not particularly limited, and isotactic or syndiotactic and those showing various degrees of stereoregularity can be used. The copolymer may be a binary system, a ternary system, or a quaternary system, and may be a random copolymer or a block copolymer.

The foamed resin film constituting the
As said filler contained in a foamed resin film, various inorganic fillers or organic fillers can be used. Examples of the inorganic filler include heavy calcium carbonate, precipitated calcium carbonate, calcined clay, talc, titanium oxide, barium sulfate, aluminum sulfate, silica, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, diatomaceous earth, and the like.
In order to adjust the pore size generated in the foamed resin film constituting the
The foamed resin film constituting the

According to the

In this specification, “thermal shrinkage start temperature” means that a sample film made of a thermoplastic resin to be measured is set in a TMA apparatus, a load of 1 g is applied, and the temperature is increased to 120 ° C. at a rate of temperature increase of 2 ° C./min. Measure the amount of shrinkage (in%) at that time, output this data and record the temperature and amount of shrinkage, read the temperature that deviates from the 0% baseline due to shrinkage, and heat shrink the temperature This is the starting temperature.

<Manufacture of reflective material>
(Reflective layer (foamed resin film))
Two types of foamed resin films having a thickness of 70 μm and 140 μm constituting the reflective layer of the reflective material of each example and comparative example were manufactured by the following method.
A composition (A1) obtained by mixing 38% by mass of propylene homopolymer (PP), 4% by mass of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), 53% by mass of calcium carbonate, and 5% of titanium dioxide was set at a temperature of 270 ° C. After melt-kneading with an extruder, this was extruded into a sheet form from a die and further cooled by a cooling device to obtain an unstretched sheet. Next, the sheet was heated again to a temperature of 150 ° C., and then stretched 5 times in the machine direction using a group of rolls having different peripheral speeds to obtain a 5 times longitudinally stretched film (base layer).
Furthermore, as a skin layer, a composition (A2) obtained by mixing 38% by mass of a propylene homopolymer (PP), 4% by mass of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), 27% by mass of calcium carbonate, and 3% of titanium dioxide was added. After melt-kneading at 270 ° C. with an extruder, this was extruded into a sheet form from a die and laminated on both sides of the 5-fold longitudinally stretched film obtained in the above step to obtain a laminated film having a three-layer structure.
Next, the laminated film having the three-layer structure was cooled to a temperature of 60 ° C., then reheated to a temperature of 155 ° C. by an oven, and stretched 7.5 times in the transverse direction using a tenter (area stretch ratio: 37.5 times), annealing treatment at a temperature of 165 ° C., cooling to a temperature of 60 ° C., slitting the ear portion, and a thickness of 70 μm (uniaxial stretching / biaxial stretching / uniaxial stretching) ( A2 / A1 / A2 = 10 μm / 50 μm / 10 μm), thickness 140 μm (A2 / A1 / A2 = 10 μm / 120 μm / 10 μm), and thickness 40 μm (A2 / A1 / A2 = 10 μm / 20 μm / 10 μm), In each stretched thermoplastic resin film, two types of foamed resin films having a porosity of 72% were obtained.
