Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a waterstop plate comprising a core and a skin layer provided on the outer peripheral portion of the core, the core comprising a resin, a reinforcing fiber, and a gap.
In recent years, due to the heightened awareness of disaster prevention, there is an increasing demand for waterstops that prevent inundation of rainwater, river water, seawater, etc., into the underground facilities and buildings. The water stop plate needs to have water pressure resistance, but it needs to be easily installed by manpower because it needs to be installed quickly in an emergency. For this reason, the market demand for a water stop plate having water pressure resistance and light weight is very strong. From such a background, a water stop plate that is light in weight and excellent in mechanical properties has been studied. In particular, in order to satisfy the lightness, a method of using a lightweight core material and a highly rigid material in combination has been studied (see Patent Documents 1 to 3).
However, according to the above method, it is necessary to design a product such as arranging a highly rigid material. In the product designed in this way, the weight is inevitably increased or the thickness is increased. I have to make it bigger. That is, as a result, even if weight reduction of the water stop plate is achieved, its contribution is very limited.
This invention is made | formed in view of the said subject, The objective is to provide the water stop board excellent in a lightweight property and a dynamic characteristic.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the
In one embodiment of the present invention, it is desirable that the
The volume content of the
Reinforcing
It is desirable that the reinforcing
Here, substantially monofilament-shaped or dispersed in a monofilament-like form means a ratio of single fibers having a two-dimensional contact angle of 1 ° or more with respect to the reinforcing
In the case of discontinuous reinforcing fibers, the two-dimensional contact angle is an angle formed by a single fiber and a single fiber that comes into contact with the single fiber. It is defined as the angle on the acute angle side within the range of from 0 ° to 90 °. This two-dimensional contact angle will be further described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 3 is a schematic view showing an example of a dispersion state of reinforcing fibers in the reinforcing fiber mat when observed from the surface direction (FIG. 3A) and the thickness direction (FIG. 3B). When the
Although there is no restriction | limiting in particular as a method of measuring a two-dimensional contact angle, For example, the method of observing the orientation of the reinforced
Based on the observation method described above, the fiber dispersion rate is measured by the following procedure. That is, the two-dimensional contact angles with all the single fibers (
Furthermore, it is particularly desirable that the reinforcing
This two-dimensional orientation angle will be further described with reference to the drawings. 3A and 3B, when the
The method for measuring the two-dimensional orientation angle is not particularly limited. For example, a method for observing the orientation of the reinforcing
Since the reinforcing
On the other hand, examples in which the reinforcing
The form of the reinforcing
The volume content of the reinforcing
The reinforcing
The mass average fiber length of the reinforcing
The void 2c in the present invention refers to a space formed by reinforcing
When the length of the reinforcing
Here, the length Lf of the reinforcing
The orientation angle θf of the reinforcing
As an index of the elliptical aspect ratio to be extracted, when the cross-sectional shape of the single fiber is close to a perfect circle, that is, when the fiber aspect ratio in the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the reinforcing fiber is 1.1 or less, the elliptical aspect ratio Can measure the angle formed by the surface direction X and the fiber principal axis α with respect to the reinforcing

The reinforcing
As a manufacturing method of the reinforcing fiber mat constituting the
Further, the reinforcing fiber mat can be impregnated with the
As equipment for realizing the above methods, a compression molding machine or a double belt press can be suitably used. In the case of a batch type, the former, the productivity can be improved by using an intermittent press system in which two or more machines for heating and cooling are arranged in parallel. In the case of a continuous type, it is the latter, and since continuous processing can be performed easily, it is excellent in continuous productivity.

The thickness control method is not limited as long as the core precursor to be heated can be controlled to the target thickness, but the thickness is controlled by a method of constraining the thickness using a metal plate or the like, or the pressure applied to the core precursor. A method etc. are illustrated as a preferable method from a viewpoint of the simplicity of manufacture. As equipment for realizing the above method, a compression molding machine or a double belt press can be suitably used. In the case of a batch type, the former, the productivity can be improved by using an intermittent press system in which two or more machines for heating and cooling are arranged in parallel. In the case of a continuous type, it is the latter, and since continuous processing can be performed easily, it is excellent in continuous productivity.

[Volume content Vf of reinforcing fiber in core]
After measuring the mass Ws of the core, the core is heated in air at 500 ° C. for 30 minutes to burn off the resin component, the mass Wf of the remaining reinforcing fiber is measured, and the obtained mass Ws of the core and the remaining reinforcing fiber From the mass Wf, the volume content Vf of the reinforcing fiber in the core was calculated from the following formula.
Vf(体積%)=(Wf/ρf)/{Wf/ρf+(Ws−Wf)/ρr}×100
Vf (volume%) = (Wf / ρf) / {Wf / ρf + (Ws−Wf) / ρr} × 100
ρf: Density of reinforcing fiber [g / cm 3 ]
ρr: Resin density [g / cm 3 ]
[Volume content Vr of resin in core]
The volume content Vr of the resin in the core was calculated by the following formula using the volume content Vf (volume%) of the reinforcing fiber in the core.

[Volume content of voids in the core]
A test piece was cut out 10 mm in length and 10 mm in width from the core, and the cross section was observed with a scanning electron microscope (SEM) (S-4800, manufactured by Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation), and any 10 locations were photographed at a magnification of 1000 times. did. For each image, the area Aa of the void in the image was determined. Further, the void ratio was calculated by dividing the void area Aa by the area of the entire image. The volume content of the voids in the core was determined by arithmetic average from the void ratios at a total of 50 locations, which were taken at 10 locations each with 5 test pieces.
[Orientation angle θf of reinforcing fiber in core]
A small piece having a width of 25 mm was cut out from the core, embedded in an epoxy resin, and then polished so that a vertical cross section in the sheet thickness direction was an observation surface to prepare a sample. The sample was magnified 400 times with a laser microscope (manufactured by Keyence Corporation, VK-9510), and the fiber cross-sectional shape was observed. Expand the observation image on general-purpose image analysis software, extract the individual fiber cross sections visible in the observation image using a program embedded in the software, provide an ellipse inscribed in the fiber cross section, and shape the fiber cross section Approximate (hereinafter referred to as fiber ellipse). Further, the angle between the X axis direction and the major axis direction of the fiber ellipse was determined for a fiber ellipse having an aspect ratio of 20 or more represented by the major axis length α / minor axis length β of the fiber ellipse. By repeating the above operation on the observation samples extracted from different parts of the core, the orientation angle was measured for a total of 600 reinforcing fibers, and the arithmetic average value was obtained as the orientation angle θf of the reinforcing fibers.
[Apparent density of core]
The apparent density of the test plate was measured with reference to JIS K7222 (2005). The length, width, and thickness of the test plate were measured, and the volume V of the test plate was calculated from the obtained values. The mass M of the test plate was measured with a scale. From the obtained mass M and volume V, the apparent density ρ was calculated from the following equation.
ρ[g/cm3]=103×M[g]/V[mm3] ρ [g / cm 3 ] = 10 3 × M [g] / V [mm 3 ]

The bending elastic modulus of the test plate was measured according to ISO 178 method (1993) except that the distance between the fulcrums was 800 mm. The number of measurements was n = 5, and the average value was the flexural modulus Ec. As the measuring device, “Instron (registered trademark)” 5582 type universal material testing machine (manufactured by Instron Japan Co., Ltd.) was used. From the obtained results, the specific bending elastic modulus of the molded product was calculated by the following formula.
Ec1/3/ρ Specific flexural modulus = Ec 1/3 / ρ

[Consideration]
In this example, in order to satisfy the volume content of the skin layer, the core, and the reinforcing fibers, resin, and voids in the core, those satisfying the specific bending modulus and product weight were obtained. These are also clear from the examples described in Table 2. In Comparative Example 1, since the skin layer was not provided, the mass of the waterstop plate and the specific bending elastic modulus were satisfied, but the absolute value of the bending elastic modulus was insufficient, so the deflection amount of the waterstop plate was satisfactory. could not. In Comparative Example 2, the material of the skin layer and the core was changed. However, since the specific bending elastic modulus of the core itself was low, the rigidity and mass as the waterstop plate could not be satisfied. In Comparative Example 3, since the water stop plate was produced only with aluminum, the weight could not be satisfied. Therefore, in Comparative Example 4, a water stop plate was produced using only CFRP. For this, the amount of deflection could be satisfactorily satisfied, but an increase in weight could not be avoided.
