Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an internal combustion engine for a vehicle that includes a passage injection valve that injects fuel into an intake passage and a cylinder injection valve that injects fuel into a combustion chamber.
Patent Document 1 describes an example of a vehicle internal combustion engine that includes a passage injection valve that injects fuel into an intake port that forms an intake passage, and a cylinder injection valve that injects fuel into a combustion chamber. In such an internal combustion engine, the fuel injection amount of the passage injection valve with respect to the sum of the fuel injection amount of the passage injection valve and the fuel injection amount of the in-cylinder injection valve is determined based on the operating region of the internal combustion engine, the engine temperature, and the like. The ratio of spraying, which is a ratio, is set. For example, in the internal combustion engine described in Patent Document 1, when the engine is cold, the injection ratio is set to “1”, fuel is injected from the passage injection valve, and fuel injection of the in-cylinder injection valve is stopped. I am doing so.
By the way, the injection hole portion, which is a portion for injecting fuel in the in-cylinder injection valve, is exposed to the air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber. Therefore, when the engine operation in which fuel injection by the in-cylinder injection valve is stopped is continued, the temperature of the injection hole portion of the in-cylinder injection valve rises, and deposits are likely to accumulate in the injection hole portion.
Therefore, in the internal combustion engine described in Patent Document 1, when the temperature of the injection hole portion of the in-cylinder injection valve that is estimated under the condition in which fuel injection by the in-cylinder injection valve is stopped is equal to or higher than the determination temperature, the above-described injection division is performed. The rate is made smaller than “1”, and fuel is injected from the in-cylinder injection valve. By injecting the fuel from the in-cylinder injection valve in this way, the temperature of the nozzle hole portion is lowered, so that deposit accumulation in the nozzle hole portion can be suppressed.
Note that the temperature of the nozzle hole portion of the in-cylinder injection valve described above is estimated based on the relationship between the engine speed and the engine load factor. The temperature of the nozzle hole portion thus estimated increases as the engine speed increases, and increases as the engine load factor increases.
However, usually, when fuel is injected from the in-cylinder injection valve when the temperature in the combustion chamber is low, such as when the engine is cold when the injection ratio is set to “1” or when the internal combustion engine is operating at low to medium loads, Although deposition of deposits in the nozzle hole portion can be suppressed, there is a risk that exhaust properties may deteriorate due to reasons such as the fuel not being sufficiently vaporized.
An object of the present invention is to provide an internal combustion engine for a vehicle that can achieve both suppression of deterioration of exhaust properties and suppression of deposit accumulation in a nozzle hole portion of an in-cylinder injection valve.
An internal combustion engine for a vehicle for solving the above problems includes a passage injection valve that injects fuel into an intake passage, a cylinder injection valve that injects fuel into a combustion chamber, a fuel injection amount of the passage injection valve, and a cylinder injection valve An injection control unit for controlling the fuel injection amount of the engine, a cooling passage for the injection valve for cooling the in-cylinder injection valve using the cooling water of the vehicle cooling system, and a valve opening when passing through the cooling passage for the injection valve On the other hand, a water flow valve that is closed when water flow is stopped, and a temperature estimation unit that calculates an estimated temperature value of the injection hole portion of the in-cylinder injection valve based on the engine rotation speed and the engine load factor; The valve control unit that opens the water flow valve when the estimated temperature value of the nozzle hole calculated by the temperature estimation unit is equal to or higher than the determination temperature under the condition that fuel injection by the in-cylinder injection valve is stopped And comprising.
According to the above configuration, when the estimated temperature value of the nozzle hole portion calculated under the condition where the fuel injection by the in-cylinder injection valve is stopped is equal to or higher than the determination temperature, the water flow valve is opened and the injection valve Cooling water flows through the cooling passage. Thus, when the cooling water flows through the injection valve cooling passage, the injection hole portion is cooled. As a result, since the rise in the temperature of the injection hole portion of the in-cylinder injection valve is suppressed, deposit accumulation on the injection hole portion is suppressed.
In addition, since the accumulation of deposits in the injection hole portion of the in-cylinder injection valve can be suppressed by passing water through the cooling passage for the injection valve in this way, originally, in the engine operation state where fuel injection by the in-cylinder injection valve should be stopped. The fuel injection by the in-cylinder injection valve for the purpose of cooling the nozzle hole portion does not have to be performed. As a result, deterioration of exhaust properties is also suppressed.
Therefore, it is possible to achieve both suppression of deterioration of exhaust properties and suppression of deposit accumulation in the injection hole portion of the in-cylinder injection valve.
Further, in the above configuration, the estimated temperature value of the injection hole portion is determined as the determination temperature even when the fuel injection by the in-cylinder injection valve is performed and under the situation where the fuel injection by the in-cylinder injection valve is stopped. In the case where it does not become the above, even if the water flow to the cooling passage for the injection valve is stopped, deposits are unlikely to accumulate in the nozzle hole portion, so the water flow valve is not opened. Thereby, the water flow to the cooling passage for the injection valve is stopped, and the temperature of the cooling water in the vehicle cooling system due to the heat exchange with the injection hole portion of the in-cylinder injection valve does not occur. Therefore, the temperature rise of the other site | part which cools using the said cooling water can be suppressed suitably.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of an internal combustion engine will be described with reference to FIGS.
As shown in FIG. 1, the
A space between the
Further, the
In the
As shown in FIG. 1, the
Further, a water-cooled
Further, the

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
In addition, the
As shown in FIG. 2, an electromagnetically driven
Next, a part of the functional configuration of the
As illustrated in FIG. 2, the
The
The
Incidentally, the estimated temperature value TMPDI of the
Returning to FIG. 2, the
Next, a processing routine executed by the
As shown in FIG. 4, the
Therefore, when in-cylinder injection is being performed (step S11: YES), the
When the estimated temperature value TMPDI of the
Next, the operation of the
When in-cylinder injection is performed during engine operation (including when both in-cylinder injection and port injection are performed), the
Further, even when in-cylinder injection is stopped during engine operation, the operating region of the
On the other hand, during the operation of the engine in which in-cylinder injection is stopped, the operating region of the
Note that, under such a situation where the
According to the
When the estimated temperature value TMPDI of the
In addition, deposit accumulation in the
Further, in the
The above embodiment may be changed to another embodiment as described below.
The
As shown in FIG. 6, the
Therefore, in the
As shown in FIG. 7, the upstream end of the injection
Further, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, in the injection
According to such a configuration, when the water flow to the injection
For example, a cooling system of a hybrid vehicle having a power source such as a motor other than the
