Claims (18)
- 発熱体を持つエアロゾル発生装置と併用するための加熱式エアロゾル発生物品であって、前記加熱式エアロゾル発生物品が、エアロゾル形成基体と、口側の端および前記口側の端の上流にある遠位端を持つロッドを形成するためにラッパー内に組み立てられた破壊可能な空気流バリアとを含み、ユーザーが前記ロッドの前記口側の端を吸い込んだ時に、前記破壊可能な空気流バリアが、空気が前記エアロゾル形成基体を通して引き出されることを実質的に阻止するよう配置されており、また前記エアロゾル形成基体がエアロゾル形成材料のシートの集合体を含む、加熱式エアロゾル発生物品。
- 前記空気流バリアが損なわれていない時には1000mmH2Oを超える引き出し抵抗(RTD)を持つが、前記空気流バリアが破壊された時には30〜100mmH2Oである、請求項1に記載の加熱式エアロゾル発生物品。
- 前記破壊可能な空気流バリアが前記エアロゾル形成基体の上流に配置されている、請求項3に記載の加熱式エアロゾル発生物品。
- 前記破壊可能な空気流バリアが、前記口側の端の上流であるが、前記エアロゾル形成基体の下流に配置されている、請求項3に記載の加熱式エアロゾル発生物品。
- 空気流を実質的に阻止するように前記破壊可能な空気流バリアが前記ロッドの断面にかかる破裂可能な要素を備えた、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の加熱式エアロゾル発生物品。
- 前記破裂可能な要素がエアロゾル発生装置の一部分との物理的相互作用によって破裂するよう構成された、請求項5に記載の加熱式エアロゾル発生物品。
- 前記破裂可能な要素が、箔、紙、ポリマーまたはセラミックで形成された破裂可能な隔壁を含む、請求項6に記載の加熱式エアロゾル発生物品。
- 前記破壊可能な空気流バリアが前記ロッド内に配置された可融性の隔壁を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の加熱式エアロゾル発生物品。
- 前記可融性の隔壁がエアロゾル発生装置の発熱体によって加熱された時に融解するよう配置されている、請求項8に記載の加熱式エアロゾル発生物品。
- 前記可融性の隔壁が、パラフィンろうなど、低融点のろう製のディスクまたはプラグである、請求項8または9に記載の加熱式エアロゾル発生物品。
- エアロゾル形成基体と、口側の端および前記口側の端の上流にある遠位端を持つロッドを形成するためにラッパー内に組立てられた破壊可能な空気流バリアとを含み、前記破壊可能な空気流バリアが、ユーザーが前記ロッドの口側の端を吸い込んだ時に、前記エアロゾル形成基体を通して空気が引き出されるのを実質的に阻止するよう配置され、また前記エアロゾル形成基体がエアロゾル形成材料のシートの集合体を含む、加熱式エアロゾル発生物品と、
発熱体を持つエアロゾル発生装置であって、ユーザーが前記ロッドの前記口側の端を吸い込んだ時に、前記エアロゾル発生物品の前記破壊可能な空気流バリアを破壊して空気が前記エアロゾル形成基体を通して引き出されるようにするための手段を含む前記エアロゾル発生装置とを備えた、加熱式エアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記加熱式エアロゾル発生物品が請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル発生物品である、請求項11に記載の加熱式エアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記エアロゾル発生装置が、前記加熱式エアロゾル発生物品が前記エアロゾル発生装置と係合した時に、前記加熱式エアロゾル発生物品の前記遠位端に挿入されて、前記破壊可能な空気流バリアを破壊するように配置されている破壊要素を含む、請求項11または12のいずれか1項に記載の加熱式エアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記破壊要素が前記エアロゾル形成基体を加熱するための発熱体でもある、請求項13に記載の加熱式エアロゾル発生装置。
- エアロゾル形成基体と、口側の端および前記口側の端の上流にある遠位端を持つロッドを形成するためにラッパー内に組み立てられた破壊可能な空気流バリアとを含み、前記エアロゾル形成基体が、エアロゾル形成材料のシートの集合体を含む加熱式エアロゾル発生物品を喫煙する方法であって、前記方法が

b)前記破壊可能な空気流バリアを破壊する工程と、
c)前記発熱体を作動させて前記エアロゾル形成基体を加熱しエアロゾルを発生させる工程と、
d)前記ロッドの前記口側の端を通して前記エアロゾルを吸入する工程とを含み、かつ
工程a)、b)およびc)は任意の順序で実行されうる、方法。 - 前記加熱式エアロゾル発生物品が請求項1〜10のいずれか1項で定義されるエアロゾル発生物品である、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記ロッドの前記遠位端を前記エアロゾル発生装置と結合する工程が、破壊要素が前記エアロゾル発生物品の前記遠位端を貫通し、それによって前記破壊可能な空気流バリアを破壊する原因となる、請求項15または16に記載の方法。
- 前記発熱体を作動させて前記エアロゾル形成基体を加熱する工程が、可融性の隔壁を融解させて、それによって前記破壊可能な空気流バリアを破壊する原因となる、請求項15または16に記載の方法。
