- 均一な外径及び所定の長さを有する胃空腸チューブであって、
当該チューブの全長にわたってそれぞれ延在する胃用ルーメン及び空腸用ルーメンを含み、
当該チューブの、最遠位に設けられた胃ポートよりも下流側から遠位端までの部分において、前記胃用ルーメンの断面サイズが、前記胃ポートよりも上流側の胃用ルーメンの断面サイズに比して縮径されており、
前記胃ポートよりも下流側における前記空腸用ルーメンの断面サイズが、前記胃ポートよりも上流側の前記空腸用ルーメンの断面サイズに比して拡径されていることを特徴とするチューブ。 - 当該チューブの全長にわたって延在するバルーン用ルーメンをさらに含み、
当該チューブの、前記胃ポートよりも下流側から前記遠位端までの部分において、前記バルーン用ルーメンの断面サイズが、前記胃ポートよりも上流側の前記バルーン用ルーメンの断面サイズに比して縮径されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のチューブ。 - 前記空腸用ルーメンに圧力をかけることによって、前記胃用ルーメン及び前記バルーン用ルーメンの前記断面サイズを縮径したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の胃空腸チューブ。
- 前記空腸用ルーメンに圧力をかける間に前記胃用ルーメン及び前記バルーン用ルーメン内で接着剤を固化させることによって、前記胃用ルーメン及び前記バルーン用ルーメンの縮径状態が維持されるようにしたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の胃空腸チューブ。
- 前記接着剤が、タングステンを5〜25重量パーセントの量で含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の胃空腸チューブ。
- 前記バルーン用ルーメンの断面が、楕円形状を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の胃空腸チューブ。
- 前記胃用ルーメンの断面が、「D」字形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の胃空腸チューブ。

a)前記チューブの前記空腸用ルーメンに圧力をかけることにより、該空腸用ルーメンの断面積を拡径させると同時に少なくとも前記胃用ルーメンの断面積を縮径させる加圧ステップと、
b)前記バルーン用ルーメン及び前記胃用ルーメンに接着剤を付加する接着剤付加ステップと、
c)前記接着剤を固化させる固化ステップと、
d)前記空腸用ルーメンから前記圧力を解放する圧力解放ステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記加圧ステップ、前記接着剤付加ステップ及び前記固化ステップ中に、前記チューブを円筒形固定具内で拘束するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
