建築物の壁基材に取り付けられ最下段の外壁板を支持するスタータ金具であって、
平板状の第1固定板と、
前記第1固定板の下部から延出された第1下フランジと、
平板状の第2固定板と、
前記第2固定板の下部から延出された第2下フランジと、
前記第1固定板の延在方向と前記第2固定板の延在方向とが交わるように前記第1及び第2固定板を互いに連結する連結部と
を備え、
前記建築物の角において出合う前記壁基材の2つの面に前記第1及び第2固定板がそれぞれ固定されるとともに、前記壁基材の2つの面に取り付けられる最下段の外壁板を前記第1及び第2下フランジがそれぞれ支持するように構成されており、
前記第1及び第2下フランジの側端は、前記スタータ金具の開放側端を構成している
