上記実施形態によれば、インクタンク50は、+Z方向に沿う動きを固定する第1固定部530を有する。第1固定部530は、第1被固定部420に連結されることによって外装ユニット40に連結されている。これにより、タンクユニット30が落下した場合でも、+Z方向に沿う方向の衝撃がインクタンク50に加わる可能性を低減できる。例えば、タンクユニット30を誤まって落下させた場合を考える。タンクユニット30の第6外装壁部406が落下面に衝突した場合、−Z方向を向く面を構成する第6外装壁部406には+Z方向の外力(衝撃)が加わる。第6外装壁部406は撓む等することでインクタンク50の第6面部506に外力を加える場合がある。しかしながら、タンクユニット30は、+Z方向を向く面である第5面部505に設けられた第1固定部530によってインクタンク50の+Z方向に沿う動きが固定されている。これにより、第6外装壁部406からインクタンク50の第6面部506に衝撃が加わった場合でも、インクタンク50に加わる+Z方向に沿う方向の衝撃を抑制できる。さらに本実施形態では、インクタンク50と第2壁部としての第6外装壁部406との間には隙間Sが設けられている(図4)。これにより、タンクユニット30が落下し、タンクユニット30のうち−Z方向を向く面を構成する第6外装壁部406に+Z方向に向かう衝撃が加わっても、隙間Sが緩衝となることでインクタンク50に第6外装壁部406から直接に加わる衝撃を抑制できる。具体的には、隙間Sを設けることで、第6外装壁部406が+Z方向側に撓むなどの変形が生じた場合でも、インクタンク50に第6外装壁部406から直接に外力が加えられる可能性を低減できる。また、隙間Sを設けることで、第5外装壁部405が−Z方向側に撓むなどの変形が生じた場合でも、インクタンク50が第6外装壁部406に衝突する可能性を低減できる。
