Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a one-press manufacturing method of a glass container and a glass container in which a glass container is manufactured by forming a glass container having a finished shape by a single press and then cooling the glass container.
In particular, the present invention relates to a one-press manufacturing method of a glass container capable of stably manufacturing a glass container having a noncircular inner peripheral shape and a glass container obtained thereby.
Conventionally, since glass is chemically stable and excellent in transparency, it has been widely used as a constituent material for containers and is generally manufactured using a molding die.
Further, as a method for industrially producing such a glass container, a blow and blow molding method and a press and blow molding method are known.
For example, in the blow-and-blow molding method, a lump of molten glass called gob is filled in a rough mold, and a parison is formed by blowing blow air into the rough mold.
Next, after the obtained parison is transferred to a finishing mold and reheated, it is inflated by blowing blow air into the inside of the parison and molded into a finished mold.
On the other hand, in the press-and-blow molding method, a gob is filled in a rough mold, and a plunger is inserted into the rough mold to mold a parison.
Next, after the obtained parison is transferred to a finishing mold and reheated, it is inflated by blowing blow air into the inside of the parison and molded into a finished mold.
However, in such a blow-and-blow molding method and press-and-blow molding method, since the blow air is blown into the parison in the molding process, the glass container to be manufactured has a body portion that is larger than the inner diameter of the mouth portion. There is a characteristic that the inner diameter increases.
Therefore, for example, when a cream-like product such as cosmetics is housed and used, it may be difficult to take out the contents attached to a portion near the mouth in the main body of the glass container.
Also, in these molding methods, blow air is blown and the inner surface of the finishing mold is pressed to form the parison, so that the surface of the resulting glass container has surface irregularities on the inner surface of the finishing mold, There is a possibility that the trace of residual air remains and the quality is deteriorated.
In this regard, for the problem that the contents are difficult to take out, by increasing the thickness of the glass container so that the inner diameter of the mouth part and the body part are substantially equal, Can be easily taken out.
In addition, the problem of unevenness on the surface of the glass container can be prevented by preventing the surface of the finished glass container from contacting the finishing mold when the glass container is molded. is there.
Then, the one press manufacturing method which can manufacture efficiently the glass container of such a shape is proposed (refer patent document 1).
More specifically, a press process in which a plunger is inserted into a finish mold filled with gob to form a finished glass container, and the finished glass container is moved to a cooling mold for cooling. A cooling step for forcibly cooling the outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface of the finish-shaped glass container, respectively, with cooling air blown into the mold and cooling air blown into the finish-shaped glass container; Is a one-press bottle manufacturing method.
That is, as shown in FIG. 25, a finish-shaped glass is formed by using a
However, in the conventional one-press manufacturing method described in Patent Document 1, although a glass container having a circular inner peripheral plane shape can be manufactured, a glass container having a non-circular inner peripheral planar shape can be manufactured. There was a problem that it was difficult to manufacture stably.
That is, even in the conventional one-press manufacturing method, if a glass container having a circular shape on the inner peripheral surface is manufactured using a plunger having a circular shape on the molding surface portion, the plunger is pivoted. Even when rotated around the center, the plunger could be inserted into the opening of the mold without any problem, and the glass container could be stably manufactured.
However, in the case of manufacturing a glass container having a non-circular shape on the inner periphery using a non-circular plunger having a non-circular shape on the surface of the forming surface, the plunger rotates around the axis, thereby forming a mold. There has been a problem that it is difficult to stably insert the plunger into the opening of the first and second openings.
For example, when the planar shape of the molding surface portion of the plunger is a square, the planar shape of the opening of the molding die is also a square according to this, but if the plunger rotates 45 degrees around the axis, the plunger and the molding The mold opening collides with the mold, making it difficult to insert the plunger into the mold.
Further, if the plunger is rotated by 1 ° around the axis, it is highly possible that the plunger can be inserted into the molding die. Rotate and return the first 1 ° rotation to the normal position.
Therefore, the plunger and the inner surface of the mold are likely to be damaged, and as a result, the scratch is easily transferred to the inner periphery and the outer periphery of the obtained glass container.
In this regard, in the individual section machine (IS machine) that is usually used for mass production of glass containers, the plunger accommodated in the sleeve is configured to move up and down by a piston rod, and moves in a plane direction. This change is not particularly considered.
However, in practice, the present inventors have confirmed that the piston rod and the plunger fixed to the piston rod can rotate about the shaft.
For this reason, in the conventional one-press manufacturing method that does not consider any rotation about the axis of the plunger, it is completely possible to insert the plunger into the mold by directly hitting the plunger and the opening of the mold. Even if it was obstructed or inserted, the plunger rotated while the plunger and the inner surface of the mold contacted irregularly, and there was a problem that the quality of the obtained glass container deteriorated .
Accordingly, the inventors of the present invention have made extensive studies in view of the above-described problems. As a result, by providing predetermined protrusions or grooves on the plunger, the sleeve, the mouth mold, and the guide ring, the plunger axis is the center. The present invention finds that the positional relationship between the plunger and the molding die can be stably controlled even when a plunger having a non-circular shape in the planar shape of the molding surface portion is used by effectively suppressing rotation. Was completed.
That is, the present invention provides a one-press manufacturing method of a glass container capable of stably manufacturing a glass container having a noncircular shape on the inner periphery and a glass container obtained thereby.
According to the one-press manufacturing method of a glass container of the present invention, the one-press manufacturing method of a glass container having a noncircular planar shape on the inner periphery includes the following steps (A) to (F). A one-press manufacturing method of a glass container is provided, and the above-described problems can be solved.
(A) A mold including a mold base and a mouth mold that are divided into two parts, and a guide ring that is housed in the mouth mold so as to be slidable with respect to a contact surface with the mouth mold when the mouth mold is opened and closed. (B) A step of throwing the gob into the sleeve (B) A plunger having a non-circular planar shape of the molding surface portion accommodated in the sleeve, a first protrusion provided on the side of the plunger, and the inner wall of the sleeve (C) The plunger is moved toward the inside of the mold while being engaged with the first groove portion provided along the moving direction of the plunger. The first plunger provided on the side of the plunger. , And the second groove portion that is provided on the inner wall of the mouth mold so as to be continuous with the first groove portion along the direction of movement of the plunger, and is moved toward the inside of the mold. Step (D) The first protrusion provided on the side of the jar is received in the protrusion receiving groove provided on the inner wall of the guide ring so as to be continuous with the second groove along the movement direction of the plunger. A third groove provided along the direction of movement of the plunger on the side opposite to the side on which the first protrusion is provided, and an inner wall on the opposite side of the guide ring from the side on which the protrusion receiving groove is provided While moving the second protrusion provided on the mold, it is moved toward the inside of the mold, and the molding surface portion of the plunger is completely inserted into the gob to form a finished glass container. Step (E) Pulling out the plunger from the finished shape glass container (F) Step of transferring the finished shape glass container to the cooling mold and cooling, ie, the one-press manufacturing method of the glass container of the present invention Lever, plunger, sleeve, since it is provided with a predetermined protrusion or groove with respect to the mouth mold and the guide ring, it is possible to effectively suppress the rotation about the axis of the plunger.
Therefore, it is possible to stably control the positional relationship between the plunger having the non-circular shape of the molding surface portion and the molding die, and in turn, the glass container having the non-circular shape of the inner periphery is stable. Can be manufactured.
Further, in carrying out the one-press manufacturing method of the glass container of the present invention, the first protrusion provided on the side of the plunger when moving from the step (C) to the step (D). And the second groove provided on the inner wall of the mouth mold and the third groove on the plunger and the second protrusion provided on the guide ring are engaged. It is preferable to go through.
By carrying out in this way, the transition from the step (C) to the step (D) can be performed more stably.
In carrying out the one-press manufacturing method for a glass container of the present invention, the planar shape of the guide ring has two linear portions facing each other parallel to the opening direction of the mouth mold, and the inner wall of the mouth mold is a guide. It is preferable to have two rail members that contact the end faces of the two linear portions of the ring and guide the slide of the guide ring.
By carrying out in this way, it is possible to effectively suppress the rotation of the guide ring relative to the mouth mold. Therefore, a plunger whose planar shape of the molding surface portion is a non-circular shape, and a guide ring that is a part of the molding die, Can be controlled more stably.
Moreover, when implementing the one-press manufacturing method of the glass container of this invention, it is preferable that a rail member consists of a side surface of the columnar thing press-fitted in parallel with the opening direction of the said mouth shape with respect to a mouth shape.
By carrying out in this way, the contact area between the rail member and the end faces of the two linear portions of the guide ring is reduced, and the slide performance of the guide ring is prevented from being lowered due to thermal expansion caused by heat from the gob. The mouth mold can be opened and closed stably.
Moreover, when implementing the one press manufacturing method of the glass container of this invention, it is preferable that the guide ring is accommodated in the inside of a mouth type in the state urged | biased by the spring member.
By carrying out in this way, the guide ring can be stably centered when the mouth mold is divided and opened.
In addition, in carrying out the one-press manufacturing method of the glass container of the present invention, in the step (F), the mouth mold is divided into two parts and opened, and the finish position is centered by the guide ring while centering the falling position of the finished glass container. It is preferable to drop the shaped glass container by its own weight and place it on the bottom mold of the cooling mold.
By carrying out in this way, the finished-shaped glass container obtained in the step (D) can be stably transferred to the cooling mold.

Step (E) Pulling out the plunger from the finish-shaped glass container (F) Step of transferring the finish-shaped glass container to the cooling mold and cooling, that is, if the glass container of the present invention, Planar There since a glass container is non-circular shape, it is possible to significantly improve the design effect due to the inner circumferential surface of the glass container.
Moreover, since it is obtained by a predetermined manufacturing method, an excellent design effect can be realized with high quality.

1. Glass container (1) shape
As shown in FIGS. 1A to 1C, the
This is because the design effect by the inner peripheral surface of the glass container can be remarkably improved by making the planar shape of the inner periphery of the glass container non-circular.
That is, when a colorless transparent glass or the like is used as the glass constituting the glass container, the internal shape of the glass container can be visually recognized from the outside, particularly when a colored content is accommodated in the glass container.
At this time, if the planar shape of the inner periphery of the glass container is a non-circular shape, various design effects can be exhibited as compared with a normal shape having a circular shape of the inner periphery.
Further, a case where a three-dimensional pattern that does not become an obstacle when the plunger is pulled out is given to the inner peripheral surface of the glass container is also included in the case where the inner peripheral planar shape is noncircular.
In this case, there is no adverse effect on the printing process on the outer peripheral surface of the glass container. On the other hand, when a three-dimensional pattern is given to the outer peripheral surface of the glass container, the outer peripheral surface of the glass container is uneven. However, it is difficult to stably perform the printing process.
Therefore, the glass container of the present invention can stably give a three-dimensional pattern while maintaining the print quality.
1A is a perspective view of the
Moreover, as shown to Fig.1 (a)-(c), it is preferable that the planar shape P1 of the inner periphery of the
This is because the design effect by the inner peripheral surface of the glass container can be further improved by making the planar shape of the inner periphery of the glass container into a polygonal shape using a predetermined plunger.
That is, since the internal shape of the glass container changes greatly depending on the viewing angle, the design effect by the inner peripheral surface of the glass container can be further improved.
In addition, planar shape P1 of the internal peripheral surface of the
Thus, in the present invention, the case where the corner portion or the straight line portion is rounded is also included in the “polygonal shape”.
Further, the external shape of the glass container of the present invention is not particularly limited, and can be, for example, a bottleneck type glass bottle, a cylindrical glass bottle, a rectangular glass box, etc. As shown to 1 (a)-(c), it is preferable that the planar shape P2 of the outer periphery of the
The reason for this is that by making the planar shape of the outer periphery of the glass container a polygonal shape, the design effect by the inner peripheral surface of the glass container and the design effect by the outer peripheral surface are combined, and the overall design of the glass container It is because it can improve.
That is, since the external shape of the glass container changes greatly depending on the viewing angle, the overall design of the glass container can be improved in combination with the design effect of the inner peripheral surface of the glass container.
In addition, the planar shape P2 of the inner peripheral surface of the
(2) Material Moreover, it does not restrict | limit especially about the kind of glass which comprises a glass container, Soda lime glass, borosilicate glass, lead glass, phosphate glass, aluminosilicate glass, etc. are mentioned.
Moreover, although it is preferable to use colorless and transparent glass as glass which comprises a glass container, it is also preferable to use colored transparent glass and colored translucent glass.
When colorless and transparent glass is used, the color of the contents stored in the glass container can be fully recognized from the outside, and the color of the contents can be recognized more vividly by utilizing internal reflection of light. Can be made.
On the other hand, when colored transparent glass or colored translucent glass is used, a glass container with superior design properties can be obtained by the synergistic effect of the color of the contents and the color of the glass using the internal reflection of light. Can be obtained.
2. Outline of One-Press Manufacturing Method The one-press manufacturing method for a glass container of the present invention is characterized by including predetermined steps (A) to (F).
Therefore, first, an outline of each process will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 to 13, and then a glass container one-press manufacturing apparatus, and a plunger, a sleeve, and a molding die constituting the glass container one-press manufacturing apparatus The blow head and the cooling mold will be specifically described.
(1)工程(A)

(4) Process (D)
In the step (D), as shown in FIGS. 8 to 9, the

(1) Plunger As shown in FIGS. 5 (a) to 5 (b) and FIGS. 15 (a) to 15 (c), the
The reason for this is that a glass container having a non-circular planar shape on the inner periphery can be produced by making the planar shape of the plunger non-circular.
Further, as shown in FIGS. 5A to 5B and FIGS. 15A to 15C, the
The reason for this is that a glass container having a polygonal planar shape on the inner periphery can be produced by making the planar shape of the molding surface portion of the plunger polygonal.
Further, regarding the size of the plunger, since it varies depending on the size of the glass container to be manufactured, it is not particularly limited, but it is usually preferable to set the maximum diameter of the plunger within a range of 10 to 50 mm. It is preferable to set the length of the molding surface portion of the plunger to a value within the range of 10 to 50 mm.

Moreover, as an arrangement position of the first protrusion, as shown in FIG. 5 (b) and FIGS. 15 (a) to 15 (b), molding is a part that directly molds the inner peripheral surface of the glass container. It is preferable to be on the side of the
The reason for this is that, as shown in FIG. 2, in the case of the
In addition, the shape of the first protrusion is not particularly limited as long as it can be stably engaged with the first and second grooves, and it is usually preferable to have a columnar shape or the like.
Further, the height of the first protrusion from the side surface of the plunger is not particularly limited as long as it can be stably engaged with the first and second grooves, and is usually in the range of 3 to 20 mm. Preferably, the value is within the range of 4 to 10 mm.
Further, the width (diameter) of the first protrusion is not particularly limited as long as it can be stably engaged with the first and second grooves, and is usually within a range of 3 to 10 mm. It is preferable that the value is within a range of 4 to 8 mm.
Further, as shown in FIGS. 5A to 5B and FIG. 15C, the
The reason for this is that, as shown in FIG. 8, in the step (D), the plunger is moved upward while engaging the

Moreover, since the 3rd groove part is provided along the moving direction of a plunger, the planar shape becomes a linear form.
In addition, the cross-sectional shape is not particularly limited as long as it can be stably engaged with the second protrusion, and it is usually preferable to use a quadrangular shape or the like.

Further, the width of the third groove is not particularly limited as long as it can be stably engaged with the second protrusion, and is usually 0 to 0.05 mm larger than the width of the second protrusion. It is preferable to make it a large value in the range.
Further, the length of the third groove portion is determined by the size of the guide ring and the like, but it is usually preferable to set the value within a range of 20 to 35 mm.
Moreover, as a constituent material of the plunger, a conventionally known material may be used and is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include iron, iron alloy, brass, and copper-nickel alloy.
In addition, a cooler made of a stainless steel cylindrical member having a large number of blowing holes may be accommodated inside the plunger so as to form a gap as a passage for cooling air between the inner peripheral surface of the plunger. preferable.
By accommodating such a cooler inside the plunger, the surface of the gob that is in contact with the molding surface portion of the plunger can be effectively cooled, and a finished-shaped glass container can be efficiently obtained.

In general, the sleeve is preferably cylindrical.
Further, the size of the sleeve is not particularly limited because it varies depending on the size of the plunger to be used and the vertical movement distance of the plunger.

In addition, the shape of the second protrusion is not particularly limited as long as it can be stably engaged with the third groove, and it is usually preferable to use a columnar shape or the like.
Further, the height of the second protrusion from the inner wall of the guide ring is not particularly limited as long as it can be stably engaged with the third groove, and is usually within a range of 3 to 20 mm. The value is preferable, and the value within the range of 4 to 10 mm is more preferable.
Furthermore, the width (diameter) of the second protrusion is not particularly limited as long as it can be stably engaged with the third groove, and is usually set to a value in the range of 3 to 10 mm. Is preferable, and a value within a range of 4 to 8 mm is more preferable.

In addition, if the planar shape of the molding surface portion is a circular plunger, the rotation of the guide ring with respect to the mouth mold does not matter.
Therefore, the two linear portions in the guide ring and the two rail members in the mouth mold have a configuration required when it is assumed that a plunger having a non-circular shape in the planar shape of the molding surface portion is used.

According to the one-press manufacturing method of a glass container of the present invention, by providing predetermined protrusions or grooves on the plunger, sleeve, mouth mold and guide ring, the rotation of the plunger is effectively suppressed, and the molding surface portion Even when a non-circular plunger is used, the positional relationship between the plunger and the mold can be stably controlled.
Therefore, in spite of the one-press manufacturing method, it has become possible to stably manufacture a glass container having a noncircular planar shape on the inner periphery.
