Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a touch panel that detects an operation position based on a change in capacitance and a display device with a touch panel.
In recent years, touch panels that can be easily and sensibly operated with fingers are widely used, and the touch panels are applied to various display devices such as mobile phones. Along with this, various developments related to downsizing, thinning, lightening, power saving and cost reduction of touch panels have been made.
As a method of detecting the operation position (finger position) on the touch panel, a resistance film type that detects a change in electrical resistance, a surface acoustic wave method that uses ultrasonic waves, and a capacitance method that detects a change in capacitance Etc. are known. In particular, the electrostatic capacity method is attracting attention because it can detect a plurality of operation positions.
A touch panel using a capacitance method includes an electrode layer that is provided on one surface of a substrate and generates capacitance, and an external circuit that detects a change in the capacitance.
Here, various proposals have already been made regarding the configuration of a touch panel using a capacitance method.
Specifically, an electrode layer is formed on one surface of the substrate by using a deposition (film formation) process or the like (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Thereby, since an electrode layer etc. are integrated with a base | substrate, what is called an integrated touch panel is formed.
。 As the substrate, a plastic substrate is used instead of a glass plate (see, for example, Patent Document 2).
When the touch panel is exposed to external light, the electrical resistance of the electrode layer increases due to the influence of the external light (particularly ultraviolet light), and thus the operability may become unstable.
The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and an object thereof is to provide a touch panel and a display device with a touch panel capable of obtaining stable operability.
The touch panel of the present invention includes a base, an electrode layer including metal nanowires, and an intermediate layer disposed between the base and the electrode layer, and at least one of the base, the electrode layer, and the intermediate layer is an ultraviolet absorbing material. Is included.
The display device with a touch panel of the present invention includes a touch panel and a display panel to which the touch panel is attached, and the touch panel has the same configuration as the touch panel of the present invention described above.
According to the touch panel or the display device with a touch panel of the present invention, since the electrode layer includes the metal nanowire and at least one of the base, the electrode layer, and the intermediate layer includes the ultraviolet absorbing material, stable operability is achieved. FIG. 1A shows a planar configuration of the touch panel of the present embodiment, and FIG. 1B shows a cross-sectional configuration along the
The touch panel described here is a so-called capacitive touch panel, and detects an operation position (finger position) based on a change in capacitance.
In FIG. 1B, the touch panel is operated from above. That is, a user's finger operating the touch panel touches the touch panel from the upper side in FIG. 1B. In the following, the upper side (side touched with a finger) in FIG. 1B is referred to as “operation side”, and the lower side (opposite side to touch with a finger) is referred to as “non-operation side”.
[Overview of touch panel configuration]
For example, as shown in FIGS. 1A to 1C, the touch panel includes a

The type of the
Among them, the

The intermediate layer 20 is a general term for one or more layers that may be inserted between the
Here, the intermediate layer 20 includes, for example, the
The

Although the thickness of the
In addition, when the adhesiveness of the
The
The
For example, as shown in FIG. 1C, the
The
As described above, the
The thickness of the
In addition, the

This touch panel may include a
The
Note that the touch panel may include components other than those described above.
Another component is the
For example, as illustrated in FIGS. 1A and 1B, the
The
The
In detail, the
On the other hand, when the solution contains an antifoaming agent, bubbles are hardly generated in the solution. This is because this antifoaming agent functions to suppress foaming by making the surface tension of the foam film partially unbalanced (making the foam unstable). Thereby, since it becomes difficult to generate a pinhole in the
The type of the antifoaming agent is not particularly limited. Specifically, the antifoaming agent may be a silicon-based antifoaming agent or a non-silicone-based antifoaming agent. This silicon-based antifoaming agent is an antifoaming agent containing polysiloxane (an organic compound containing silicon as a constituent element). On the other hand, the non-silicon antifoaming agent is an antifoaming agent that does not contain the above-described polysiloxane.
Examples of the silicon antifoaming agent include a solution type, an oil compound type, an oil type, a self-emulsification type, and an emulsion type. The type of non-silicone antifoaming agent is classified into, for example, a surfactant type and a higher alcohol type. Examples of the surfactant-based non-silicon antifoaming agent include an ether type, an ester type, an ether / ester type, and an ester / ester type. Examples of the higher alcohol-based non-silicone antifoaming agent include higher alcohols, higher alcohol derivatives, and fatty acid derivatives.
Among these, the antifoaming agent is preferably a non-silicone defoaming agent. This is because the
Specifically, when a silicon-based antifoaming agent is used as the antifoaming agent, the silicon-based antifoaming agent contains polysiloxane. There is a possibility that polysiloxane may bleed out on the surface of the
When the
On the other hand, when a non-silicon type antifoaming agent is used as the antifoaming agent, the non-silicone type antifoaming agent does not contain polysiloxane. Does not occur. This prevents the
The antifoaming agent described above may be contained in one or more layers of the intermediate layer 20. Specifically, one or both of the
Another component is, for example, an external circuit connected to the
[Detailed configuration of touch panel]
Here, among the series of components of the touch panel described above, one or more of the series of light-transmitting layers include an ultraviolet absorbing material.
That is, one or more of the
The reason why the above-described
When the touch panel is exposed to external light, the external light enters the inside of the touch panel via the light-transmitting

The type of the ultraviolet absorbing material is not particularly limited as long as it is any one or more of materials (absorbents) having a property of absorbing ultraviolet rays.
Specifically, the ultraviolet absorbing material is, for example, a triazine-based absorbent. The triazine-based absorbent is, for example, one or more of hydroxyphenyltriazine and derivatives thereof. That is, the ultraviolet absorbing material described here is a so-called hydroxyphenyltriazine-based ultraviolet absorber. The above-mentioned “derivative” is a compound in which one or more substituents are introduced into hydroxyphenyltriazine, and the type of the substituent is not particularly limited. This is because a compound having a hydroxyphenyltriazine-type skeleton absorbs ultraviolet rays without depending on the type of substituent.
In addition, ultraviolet absorbing materials include, for example, benzotriazole-based absorbers (benzotriazole and derivatives thereof), benzophenone-based absorbers (benzophenone and derivatives thereof), cyanoacrylate-based absorbers (cyanoacrylate and derivatives thereof), Oxanilide-based absorbents (oxanilide and derivatives thereof), salicylate-based absorbents (salicylate and derivatives thereof) and formamidine-based absorbers (formamidine and derivatives thereof) may be used.

The electrode portion 12C includes, for example, a plurality of electrode patterns 12CP. Configuration conditions such as the number, planar shape, and arrangement method of the electrode patterns 12CP are arbitrary. Here, the planar shape of each electrode pattern 12CP is the same as the planar shape of each electrode pattern 12AP described above, for example. The plurality of electrode patterns 12CP are arranged, for example, in a direction (vertical direction in FIG. 3C) intersecting the arrangement direction of the plurality of electrode patterns 12AP so that the long sides are adjacent to each other with a gap therebetween.

The touch panel manufacturing procedure is the same as the manufacturing procedure of the input device according to the first embodiment, for example, except for the procedure described below.

This touch panel operates as follows.

For example, as shown in FIG. 4, the display device with a touch panel includes a touch panel 100A and a display panel 100B to which the touch panel 100A is attached.
The touch panel 100A has the same configuration as the touch panel of the present invention described above. That is, the touch panel 100A may be the touch panel of the first embodiment, the touch panel of the second embodiment, or the touch panel of the third embodiment. This touch panel 100A is attached to the display surface of the display panel 100B.
The type of the display panel 100B is not particularly limited as long as it is a panel (display) that can display images and videos using an arbitrary display principle. The display panel 100B is, for example, a liquid crystal display panel, an organic electroluminescence (EL) panel, an electronic paper panel, or the like.
In this display device with a touch panel, the display panel 100B is operated using the touch panel 100A while viewing images and videos displayed on the display panel 100B.

Specific embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail.
(Experimental example 1)
The touch panel of 1st Embodiment shown to FIG. 1A-FIG. 1C was produced with the following procedures.
First, the
Subsequently, an anchor material (MIX-HF000 medium manufactured by Teikoku Ink Manufacturing Co., Ltd.), a diluent (C-002 SOLVENT manufactured by Teikoku Ink Manufacturing Co., Ltd.), and a curing agent (210 CATALYST solidification grade manufactured by Teikoku Ink Manufacturing Co., Ltd.) Then, hydroxyphenyltriazine (HPT: TINUVIN477 manufactured by Ciba Japan Co., Ltd.), which is an ultraviolet absorbing material, was mixed to obtain a mixed solution. In this case, the mixing ratio of the anchor material, the diluent, and the curing agent is set to 100: 10: 3 by weight, and the content of the ultraviolet absorbing material with respect to the total of the anchor material, the diluent, and the curing agent. Was 4% by weight. Then, after apply | coating the mixed solution to each of the base |
Subsequently, the
Subsequently, silver nanowire ink (CleanOhm manufactured by Cambrios Technologies Corporation) was applied to the planarization layer 4 (

For comparison, a touch panel was produced by the same procedure except that the
When the electrical resistance characteristics affecting the operability of the touch panels of Experimental Examples 1 and 2 were examined, the results shown in FIGS. 5A and 5B were obtained. FIG. 5A represents the elapsed time dependence of the electrical resistance in Experimental Example 1, and FIG. 5B represents the elapsed time dependence of the electrical resistance in Experimental Example 2. When examining this electrical resistance characteristic, a weather resistance test of the touch panel was performed to track changes in the electrical resistance (surface resistance) of the
When the

For reference, after the
When a silicon-based antifoaming agent was used (Experiment 1), the
