Abstract
Description
The present invention attenuates the signal level of the output audio signal when the signal level of the input audio signal falls below the threshold value, and changes the signal level of the output audio signal when the signal level of the input audio signal exceeds the threshold value. The present invention relates to a noise gate device for returning to a signal level of.
Conventionally, a noise gate device has been known as a technique for removing noise contained in an audio signal. The noise gate device operates the noise gate device to reduce the signal level of the output audio signal to 0 when the signal level of the input audio signal including noise falls below a threshold value. That is, the noise gate device mutes the output sound by operating the noise gate device. As a result, the noise gate device suppresses the ambient noise from being amplified and included in the output sound when no sound signal is input.
For this reason, when the noise gate device operates, the signal level of the output audio signal suddenly changes to 0 level. As described above, when the operation of the noise gate device is switched, the background noise level changes abruptly. Therefore, the background noise is conspicuous and the user often feels uncomfortable.
On the other hand, the noise gate device described in Patent Document 1 shown below leaves a frequency band in which an audio signal exists, and removes a signal in a frequency band in which only the stationary noise exists without an audio signal. Stationary noise included in the signal is removed from the audio signal.
At this time, the noise gate device estimates the stationary noise by converting the audio signal into a frequency spectrum and analyzing the frequency spectrum. In order to analyze the frequency spectrum, for example, an expensive DSP (digital signal processor) having a high processing capability is required.
Further, as a technique similar to a noise gate device, a technique described in
However, since the technique adopted in
The conventional noise gate device has a problem that when the operation of the noise gate device is switched, the level of the background noise changes abruptly.
On the other hand, the conventional noise gate device that estimates stationary noise included in the audio signal and removes the estimated stationary noise has a problem that the device is expensive.
An object of the present invention is to provide a noise gate device that can output a sound close to a natural way of hearing at a low cost, so that a person who listens to the output sound does not feel uncomfortable.

The
Specifically, the
Ta=a2×Av+b2×Am+c2×Ae+d2×An …(2)
Ta = a2 * Av + b2 * Am + c2 * Ae + d2 * An ... (2)
The parameter Av is a parameter corresponding to the vehicle speed detected by the first background noise detection unit 24-1. The parameter Av is set as shown in FIG. 10 showing an example of the relationship between the vehicle speed and the parameter Av.

Since the sound level in the passenger compartment increases as the background noise signal level increases, the parameter Av increases as the background noise signal level increases. As a result, the attack time becomes longer as the sound level in the passenger compartment increases, and the sound signal changes gradually.
As a result, since a sudden change in the output sound signal is suppressed, a person who is listening to the output sound is less likely to notice noise contained in the sound being listened to and feel less uncomfortable.
Therefore, the parameter Av is set so as to increase as the vehicle speed increases as shown in FIG. For example, the parameter Av is 0.1 when the vehicle speed is 0 km, and the parameter Av is 1.0 when the vehicle speed is 100 km. The parameter Av is set to change linearly or nonlinearly, for example, when the vehicle speed is between 0 km and 100 km.

Tr=a3×Rv+b3×Rm+c3×Re+d3×Rn …(3)
Tr = a3 * Rv + b3 * Rm + c3 * Re + d3 * Rn (3)
The parameter Rv is a parameter corresponding to the vehicle speed detected by the first background noise detection unit 24-1. The parameter Rv is set as shown in FIG. 10 showing an example of the relationship between the vehicle speed and the parameter Rv.
Since the sound level in the passenger compartment increases as the background noise signal level increases, the parameter Rv increases as the background noise signal level increases. Thereby, the release time becomes longer as the sound level in the passenger compartment increases, and the output audio signal changes gradually.
As a result, since a sudden change in the output sound signal is suppressed, a person who is listening to the output sound is less likely to notice noise contained in the sound being listened to and feel less uncomfortable.
Therefore, the parameter Rv is set so as to increase as the vehicle speed decreases as shown in FIG. For example, the parameter Rv is 0.1 when the vehicle speed is 0 km, and the parameter Rv is 1.0 when the vehicle speed is 100 km. The parameter Rv is set so as to change, for example, linearly or nonlinearly when the vehicle speed is between 0 km and 100 km.
The
The parameter Rm is a parameter corresponding to the signal level of the audio signal detected by the second background noise detection unit 24-2. The parameter Rm is set as shown in FIG. 11 showing an example of the relationship between the signal level of the audio signal detected by the second background noise detection unit 24-2 and the parameter Rm.
Since the sound level in the passenger compartment increases as the signal level of the audio signal increases, the parameter Rm increases as the signal level of the audio signal increases.
Therefore, the parameter Rm is set to increase as the signal level of the audio signal increases as shown in FIG. For example, when the signal level of the audio signal is expressed by 16-bit data, the parameter Rm is set to 0.1 at 0x000 where the signal level is minimum, and the parameter Rm is set to 1.0 at 0x7FFF where the signal level is maximum. The parameter Rm is set so as to change, for example, linearly or nonlinearly when the signal level is between 0x000 and 0x7FFF.
The
The parameter Re is a parameter corresponding to the volume value detected by the third background noise detection unit 24-3. The parameter Re is set as shown in FIG. 12 showing an example of the relationship between the volume value and the parameter Re.
Since the sound level in the passenger compartment increases as the volume value increases, the parameter Re increases as the volume value increases.
Therefore, the parameter Re is set to increase as the signal level of the audio signal increases as shown in FIG. For example, when the volume value can be changed stepwise from step 0 to step 40, the parameter Re is set to 0.1 at step 0 where the volume value is minimum, and the parameter Re is set to 1.0 at step 40 where the volume value is maximum. The parameter Re is set so as to change, for example, linearly or nonlinearly when the volume value is between 0 and 40.

The parameter Rn is a parameter corresponding to the signal level of the collected sound signal detected by the fourth background noise detection unit 24-4. The parameter Rn is set as shown in FIG. 13 showing an example of the relationship between the signal level of the collected sound signal detected by the fourth background noise detection unit 24-4 and the parameter Rn.
Since the sound level in the passenger compartment increases as the signal level of the sound collection signal increases, the parameter Rn is increased as the signal level of the sound collection signal increases.
Therefore, the parameter Rn is set so as to increase as the signal level of the collected sound signal increases as shown in FIG. For example, when the signal level of the collected sound signal is expressed by 16-bit data, the parameter Rn is set to 0.1 when the signal level is the minimum 0x000, and the parameter An is set to 1.0 when the signal level is the maximum 0x7FFF. The parameter Rn is set so as to change, for example, linearly or nonlinearly when the signal level is between 0x000 and 0x7FFF.
