Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a three-dimensional modeling apparatus that forms a three-dimensional model by stacking molding materials and a wire penetration mechanism unit that is attached to the three-dimensional modeling apparatus.
The three-dimensional modeling apparatus is an apparatus that models a resin molded product or a metal molded product directly from three-dimensional CAD data. This apparatus performs three-dimensional modeling by sequentially laminating a resin and a metal based on three-dimensional CAD data, and can mold a molded product having a complicated shape and a movable part at a time. Therefore, the time from design to production can be significantly shortened compared to conventional modeling methods such as injection molding using a mold, and in recent years, it has been increasingly used for small-scale production of prototypes during product development. It is coming.
As a representative method of the additive manufacturing method capable of easily forming a three-dimensional object as described above, an optical modeling method, a hot melt lamination method, a powder sintering method, a powder lamination method, and the like are known. For example, an inkjet method, which is one of optical modeling methods, is characterized in that after liquefied resin material is jetted, the resin layer is cured by irradiating with ultraviolet rays, and high shape dimensional accuracy is obtained.
An inkjet stereolithography type three-dimensional modeling apparatus generally includes an inkjet head for ultraviolet curable resin, an inkjet head for support material, an ultraviolet (UV) lamp for irradiating ultraviolet rays, and a roller for flattening the resin layer surface. It comprises a printer head that can be driven in the (horizontal direction in plan view) and a molding stage that can be driven in the z direction (the direction in which the resin layers are laminated). Usually, the UV curable resin ink jet head and the support material ink jet head are arranged in an array in the y direction (vertical direction perpendicular to the x direction) so that it is not necessary to drive the printer head in the y direction. It has become.
When actually modeling a 3D model using a 3D modeling machine, first the printer head is driven in the + x direction according to the 3D CAD data, and an ultraviolet curable resin or a support material is discharged onto the molding stage to apply a resin layer one layer at a time. To do. When the printer head is driven in the −x direction, the UV lamp irradiates the resin layer with ultraviolet rays to cure the ultraviolet curable resin and the support material. In molding that requires flatness, the roller is pressed against the surface of the resin layer at this time to level the surface. Thereafter, the molding stage descends in the z direction by the thickness of the molded resin layer. By repeating this series of operations as many times as necessary, the resin layer is laminated, and finally, the support material is removed, and a resin molded product that is three-dimensionally shaped based on the three-dimensional CAD data can be obtained. Such an inkjet three-dimensional modeling apparatus is disclosed in, for example, Patent Document 1 and
The three-dimensional modeling apparatus using the ink jet method has an advantage that high definition is easy because the principle of the ink jet printer can be applied. On the other hand, a resin layer obtained by curing an ultraviolet curable resin is laminated. Therefore, there is a problem that the adhesion between the layers is inevitably lowered, and the mechanical strength of the final resin molded product is lowered.
Moreover, since the resin material which can be used at present is limited to the ultraviolet curable resin, there is a limit even if it is attempted to improve the mechanical strength of the resin molded product by improving the material. Furthermore, there is also a problem that the shape dimension of the resin molded product changes with time depending on environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.
This invention is made in view of such a point, and it aims at providing the three-dimensional modeling apparatus which can model the three-dimensional molded item which suppressed the fall of mechanical strength by improving interlayer adhesiveness. And In addition, the present invention provides a wire penetration mechanism unit that can be attached to a three-dimensional modeling apparatus so that a three-dimensional modeled object in which a decrease in mechanical strength is suppressed by increasing interlayer adhesion can be modeled in the three-dimensional modeling apparatus. The purpose is to provide.
For the above purpose, the present invention firstly stacks a plurality of molding material layers by repeating the formation of the molding material layer by curing the molding material discharged from the material discharging means by the curing means. A three-dimensional modeling apparatus that models a modeled object on a molding stage, comprising a wire penetration mechanism that allows a wire to penetrate in the stacking direction of the plurality of molding material layers of the three-dimensional modeled object on the molding stage. A three-dimensional modeling apparatus is provided (Invention 1).
According to the said invention (invention 1), the interlaminar adhesion of the molding material layer which comprises a three-dimensional molded item can be improved by embedding a wire in a three-dimensional molded item so that the laminated molding material layer may be penetrated. Therefore, it is possible to model a three-dimensionally shaped object that suppresses a decrease in mechanical strength. In addition, the fact that a wire can be embedded in a three-dimensional structure means that a molding material layer can be laminated using the wire as a base material, and the cross-sectional area that has been difficult to mold conventionally Small fine shapes and thin shapes such as the side walls of boxes can be easily modeled.
In the said invention (invention 1), the said wire penetration mechanism arrange | positions the said wire from the opposing direction, the 1st roller member and 2nd roller member, and the motor which rotationally drives at least a 1st roller member It is preferable that the wire is fed out from a penetration hole provided in the molding stage when the motor rotationally drives the first roller member (Invention 2).
In the said invention (invention 2), the said wire penetration mechanism is further equipped with the control means which controls the rotational drive amount of the said 1st roller member by the said motor, The said control means is a molding material layer by the said three-dimensional modeling apparatus. It is preferable to control the rotational drive amount so that the wire is fed out by a length corresponding to the thickness of each layer each time one layer is stacked (Invention 3).
As the number of molding material layers increases, the load applied to the molding material layer closer to the lower side of the three-dimensional structure increases. When the load on the molding material layer is increased, the small holes formed in the molding material layer to penetrate the wire are crushed, and the friction generated between the wire and the small holes is also increased. According to the above invention (Invention 3), in the process of laminating the molding material layer, each time one layer is laminated, the wire is fed by an amount corresponding to the layer thickness, so that the small holes formed in the molding material layer are caused by the load. The wire can be penetrated into the three-dimensional object before being crushed, and there is no possibility that the wire cannot be penetrated into the three-dimensional object on the way.
Secondly, the present invention repeats forming the molding material layer by curing the molding material ejected from the material ejection means by the curing means, thereby forming a three-dimensional object by laminating a plurality of molding material layers. A wire penetration mechanism unit attached to a three-dimensional modeling apparatus, wherein a molding stage for placing the three-dimensional modeled object and a wire penetrating in the stacking direction of the plurality of molding material layers of the three-dimensional modeled object on the molding stage A wire penetration mechanism unit is provided (Invention 4).
According to the said invention (invention 4), the interlaminar adhesiveness of the molding material layer which comprises a three-dimensional molded item can be improved by embedding a wire in a three-dimensional molded item so that the laminated molding material layer may be penetrated.
In the said invention (invention 4), the said wire penetration mechanism arrange | positions so that the said wire may be clamped from the opposing direction, and the motor which rotationally drives at least a 1st roller member It is preferable that the wire is sent out from a penetration hole provided in the molding stage when the motor rotationally drives the first roller member (Invention 5).
In the said invention (invention 5), the said wire penetration mechanism is further equipped with the control means which controls the rotational drive amount of the said 1st roller member by the said motor, The said control means is a molding material layer by the said three-dimensional modeling apparatus. It is preferable to control the rotational drive amount so that the wire is fed out by a length corresponding to the thickness of each layer each time one layer is stacked (Invention 6).
According to the above invention (Invention 6), in the process of laminating the molding material layer, the wire is fed by an amount corresponding to the layer thickness each time one layer is laminated, so that the small holes formed in the molding material layer are caused by the load. The wire can be penetrated into the three-dimensional object before being crushed, and there is no possibility that the wire cannot be penetrated into the three-dimensional object on the way.
According to the three-dimensional modeling apparatus according to the present invention, it is possible to mold a three-dimensional modeled object in which a decrease in mechanical strength is suppressed by increasing interlayer adhesion. In addition, according to the wire penetration mechanism unit according to the present invention, a three-dimensional structure in which a decrease in mechanical strength is suppressed by increasing the interlayer adhesion in the three-dimensional modeling apparatus by attaching the wire penetration mechanism unit to the three-dimensional modeling apparatus. A model can be formed.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, the three-dimensional modeling system 9 according to this embodiment includes a
The
The stage unit 3 includes a
The
The
In this embodiment, a synthetic fiber wire such as nylon, polyethylene, or fluorocarbon is used as the wire W, but is not limited to this, and is not limited to a hard resin, a soft resin, iron, a non-ferrous metal, a carbon material, or The material of the composite material is not limited as long as the wire can be penetrated into the three-dimensional structure. In addition, a metal wire is used for the three-dimensional model S that requires strength, and a resin wire is used for the three-dimensional model S for which lightness is required. It is possible to select a wire. Furthermore, it is allowed to penetrate a plurality of wires W at the same time or to penetrate a plurality of wires W as stranded wires.
The
In the three-dimensional modeling apparatus 1 of the present embodiment, the liquid ultraviolet curable resin discharged from the
The operation | movement which embeds a wire in the three-dimensional molded item by the
Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 2B, the
The operation of feeding the wire W by one layer is performed in synchronization with the operation of lowering the
The molding material layer has a hole for inserting the wire W. The diameter of the hole is slightly larger than the diameter of the wire W. This prevents the wire W from being fed into the molding material layer due to friction. In the process of laminating the molding material layer, a load is applied from above by the leveling
When the forming
When the three-dimensional structure S is completed, the wire W is cut between the upper surface of the
<変形例>

In the present embodiment, the
Although the three-dimensional modeling system 9 according to the present embodiment has been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications can be made. For example, in this embodiment, a wire penetration mechanism is introduced for a three-dimensional modeling apparatus that employs an ink jet optical modeling method. However, if a three-dimensional model is formed by stacking molding material layers, other three-dimensional models are used. It is also possible to implement a three-dimensional modeling apparatus that employs a modeling method.
In the present embodiment, the three-dimensional modeling apparatus 1 includes only one set of
About the plastic test piece with a wire manufactured using the three-dimensional modeling apparatus 1 which concerns on this embodiment, the bending strength test was done according to JISK7171.
<Creation of specimen>
Five test specimens with wires were made using a device in which a wire penetration mechanism unit was attached to a commercially available 3D printer (
On the other hand, five standard test pieces without wires were also produced as comparative objects. Except that the wire W is not embedded, the specification is the same as that of the test piece with wire. Table 1 shows the shape dimensions (average of 5 pieces) of the obtained test pieces with wires and standard test pieces.
<Test method>
Using a precision universal testing machine (Autograph AG-Xplus, manufactured by Shimadzu Corporation), supporting both ends of the test piece, applying a load to the center, bending strength test according to JIS K7171 (three-point bending test, indenter tip radius: 5 mm, radius of support base corner: 2 mm, distance between lower fulcrums: 40 mm, test speed: 2 mm / min).
(式1)σf=3FL/2bh2
Based on the above test, the bending stress σ f was calculated based on Equation 1.
(Formula 1) σ f = 3FL / 2bh 2
Here, F is a test force [N], L is a distance between supporting points [mm], b is a width of the test piece [mm], and h is a thickness of the test piece [mm].
At this time, the bending strain ε f in the deflection s [mm] is obtained by
(Expression 2) ε f = 6 sh / L 2
(式3)si=εfiL2/6h (i=1,2)
In order to obtain the flexural modulus, deflections s 1 [mm] and s 2 [mm] corresponding to bending strains ε f1 = 0.05% and ε f2 = 0.25% were calculated based on Equation 3.
(Formula 3) s i = ε fi L 2 / 6h (i = 1, 2)
Based on the obtained bending strains ε f1 and ε f2 , the flexural modulus E f [MPa] was calculated by
(Expression 4) E f = σ f2 −σ f1 / ε f2 −ε f1
Here, σ f1 is the bending stress measured with the deflection s 1 , and σ f2 is the bending stress measured with the deflection s 2 .
Table 2 shows the test results (average of 5) obtained from 5 wire-containing test pieces and 5 standard test pieces. FIG. 4 shows a comparison of stress-strain characteristics (average of 5) between the test specimen with wire and the standard test specimen.
From the above results, it can be seen that the maximum stress and flexural modulus of the test piece with wire increased by about 20% and the strain at break increased by about 7% compared to the standard test piece. Accordingly, when the wire is embedded in the resin molded product, it is considered that a sufficient adhesion force is generated between the wire and the resin, and the wire has a structure that can withstand the tensile stress. It can be seen that the three-dimensional modeling apparatus can improve the mechanical strength of the three-dimensional model.
