PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device of a bearing for a railway vehicle capable of preventing intrusion of water into an inside of the bearing, and capable of preventing rust of the bearing or occurrence of separation.SOLUTION: A sealing device of a bearing for a railway vehicle includes a metal ring fixed on an end of an outer ring of a rolling bearing and having a first cylinder part and a second cylinder part on an axial outer side of the bearing, a core metal provided on an inside diameter of the first cylinder part of the metal ring, and an elastic seal material attached to the core metal and having a lip brought into contact with an outer peripheral surface of a lid member fixed on an axle from a radial outer side. On the lid member, a recessed groove is formed in a portion confronting an end of the second cylinder part, and the end of the second cylinder part 30c is fitted in the recessed groove with a slight gap so that a labyrinth is formed. Thus, intrusion of water into the inside of the rolling bearing can be prevented, and rust of the bearing and occurrence of separation can be prevented.
