Abstract
Description
多くの患者は、他に現実的な選択肢がないため、直立姿勢をとって移動することよりも車椅子に依存している。足や関節やバランスに問題があると歩行が制限されたり、歩行しなくなったりするため、患者がますます健康にリスクを負うこととなってしまう。
治療が進行するにつれて、利用者も慣れてくるため、装置の高さは、少しずつ高くなる。このプロセスは、指導する医療従事者が、患者が直立姿勢になったと判断されるまで続けられる。利用者が治療を完了し(例えば、膝が、外科的にみて回復した場合など)、もはや、装置を必要としなくなれば利用者は装置なしで歩行できるようになる。もし、利用者が、ずっと本歩行装置を必要とする場合(例えば、足の障害が永久的なものであったような場合など)、装置は、その後も継続して使用される。
図1の実施形態では、折り畳み可能な蝶番付きアーム機構5が、各サイドフレーム3の間に間隔をあけて配設されている。完全に開いてロックカム11が作動しているとき、蝶番付きアーム機構5がサイドフレーム3をしっかりと連結している。シート支持部は、蝶番付きアーム機構5の中心から伸びている。
さらに、ほかの実施形態では、2台のフレームが利用者の正面および背面に位置している。この場合には、利用者は装置の側方に入ることとなる。
本発明の移動補助装置10は、車椅子としても利用できる。ハンドル4を反転させて、フットレスト4および吊り張りシート13を取り付ければ車椅子となり、他の人が装置の後方から押すことが可能になる。
装置10を使用すれば、車椅子への依存を軽減あるいは無くし、長時間の歩行が可能となる。患者は、手を他の目的のために使用することも可能となる。装置10は、車椅子用の通路、傾斜路、小道、部屋や室内および室外の設備、様々なほかの場所(整備された場所)などを移動している間、利用者を安定的に支持することができる。装置10は、患者が着座したい場合、快適な着座姿勢をとることができるようにもなっている。本実施形態では、装置をコンパクトな形に折り畳むことが可能であり、自動車のトランクや飛行機の預託荷物として運搬が可能である。
利用者の体重は、装置に預けた体重比率つまり最大100%まで、ベルトのついた歩行シート1、蝶番付きアーム機構5および蝶番支柱6、サイドフレーム3、車輪機構7および8を介して地面や床に支持される。
この状態は、利用者が長期的に装置10の使用を要することとなった場合、健康とライフスタイルの質を最大化するために継続して採るべき望ましい姿勢である。
吊り張りシート13は、装置を使用して歩行していないとき、利用者のために快適な着座位置となる。吊り張りシート13は、安全な着座が確保されるようフレーム3に取り付けられる。
歩行シート34は、装置10の歩行シート1に類似しているが、僅かに異なったものが図示されている。装置30を操作している時、利用者は、片足あるいは両足で(快適に)、可能な限り軽い力で歩行している。キャスター式前輪機構7および後輪機構8は、利用者の足により、必要最小限の力で迂曲・前進し、また、重度障害者でも安全にかつ便利に進むことを可能とするものである。
台座カバー44は、硬いケースとしてスレッド下にある構造物を保護して隠すとともに利用者の足を置くプラットホームを供給する。
より詳しく説明すると、図1から図81の実施形態を参照すれば、移動補助装置10、10M、20、20A、30、40、50、60および70は、足から坐骨に体重を移動させる、あるいは、より広くベルトもしくはハーネスを用いて歩行シートから骨盤かけて分散させる。その時、利用者の足は、利用者自身の体重を完全に支えているというよりも、むしろ(自走式の実施形態のための)装置を動かすために使用されている。
本装置を用いれば、足を真っ直ぐにして完全に直立した姿勢(本装置の場合、利用者の踵は地面から浮いており、足の甲を用いてボールをドリブルする姿勢)から、足を体の前方に位置させた姿勢まで(太ももが垂直ではなく、足全体が傾いている姿勢)まで、多様な姿勢が可能である。
以上より、本実施形態は、上述の実施形態、方法および実施例のみに限定されるべきではなく、本発明の趣旨を汲み、発明の範囲すべてに及ぶと解釈されるべきである。
Claims (20)
- 利用者の両側に位置する第1フレームおよび第2フレームと、
前記第1フレームおよび前記第2フレームを接続する蝶番付きアーム機構と、
利用者の足から少なくとも体重の一部を、腰や骨盤を介して前記第1フレームおよび前記第2フレームへ移動させるハーネスを備え、
利用者が前記第1フレームおよび前記第2フレームを腕でつかむことなく、長時間起立あるいは歩行することを可能にする移動補助装置。 - シートフレーム上に搭載された2つのシート板を含む歩行シートを備え、
各々の前記シート板が対応する臀部を支持するとともに、各々の前記シート板が、前記利用者の歩行に伴って水平軸を中心に独立して回動可能となっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動補助装置。 - 前記第1フレームおよび前記第2フレームが、前記利用者の高さに適合するよう高さを調節する高さ調節機構を含むものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動補助装置。
- 高さを選択できるコアピンと複数の開口を含む手動伸縮器あるいは電動伸縮器を含む高さ調節機構を備えたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の移動補助装置。
- 前記電動伸縮器が、リニアアクチュエーターまたは空気圧式ポンプを備えたものであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の移動補助装置。
- 前記蝶番付きアームが折り畳み可能であり、合計3つの蝶番箇所を含んでおり、1つはシート支持部に連結され、他の2つはそれぞれ前記第1フレームおよび前記第2フレームとの接続箇所に連結されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動補助装置。
- 各々の前記第1フレームおよび前記第2フレームが、1つまたはそれ以上の車輪を備えたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動補助装置。
- 垂直軸を中心に360度回転する第1の車輪および回転しない第2の車輪を備えたことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の移動補助装置。
- 前記利用者の操作によって制御される、1つまたはそれ以上の前記車輪に連結されたブレーキ機構を含む請求項7に記載の移動補助装置。
- 前記車輪の少なくとも1つが電動駆動の車輪であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の移動補助装置。
- 指示入力を可能とする操作レバーと、視聴を可能とするディスプレイ装置と、前記操作レバーおよび前記ディスプレイ装置に連結され、前記利用者をガイドするプロセッサーを備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動補助装置。
- 障害物警告システムを備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動補助装置。
- 前進、後進、右折、左折および停止を選択するボタンを備えた請求項1に記載の移動補助装置。
- 前記第1のフレームおよび前記第2のフレームの部材が同一設計および交換可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動補助装置。
- 前記第1のフレーム、前記第2のフレームおよび前記蝶番付きアームが、折り畳み可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動補助装置。
- シート高さ調節用に用いられる空気圧式スプリングを含むシート高さ調節機構を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動補助装置。
- 未舗装路の運転をスムーズにする1つまたはそれ以上の緩衝機構を備えたものである請求項1に記載の移動補助装置。
- 前記利用者を定位置で支える前記蝶番付きアーム上に位置する歩行シートと、
前記歩行シートに前記利用者を固定するベルトと、
前記利用者の足から体重を移動させるよう前記歩行シートおよび前記ベルトが連動し合い、前記歩行シートが前記利用者の足の動きを可能とする空間が確保された所定形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移動補助装置。 - 利用者の両側に位置する第1フレームおよび第2フレームと、
前記第1フレームおよび前記第2フレームを接続する蝶番付きアーム機構と、
起立中または歩行中に前記利用者の腕を用いることなく、前記利用者の足から少なくとも体重の一部を腰や骨盤を介して前記第1フレームおよび前記第2フレームへ移動させる手段を備えたことを特徴とする移動補助装置。 - 利用者の両側に位置する第1フレームおよび第2フレームと、
前記第1フレームおよび前記第2フレームを接続する蝶番付きアーム機構と、
蝶番付きアーム上に位置し、所定の位置で利用者を支える歩行シートと、
前記利用者を前記歩行シートに固定するベルトを備え、
前記歩行シートおよび前記ベルトが、前記利用者の腕を用いることなく前記利用者の足から体重を除去するものであり、
前記歩行シートが、車椅子なしでの長時間にわたる起立、かがみ腰、歩行を可能とする空間が確保された所定形状であることを特徴とする移動補助装置。
