前記プロセッサにより使用される制御モジュールであって、エネルギ節約管理処理とキャパシティ及びカバレッジの最適化処理とを含む複数の自己最適化処理を、前記自己最適化処理に起因する無線ネットワークアクセスノードの設定パラメータの変更同士の間の競合が減るすように制御する制御モジュールと
を有するシステムである。
本願は「Advanced Wireless Communication System and Techniques」と題する西暦2011年11月4日付けで出願された米国仮特許出願による優先的利益を享受しており、その米国仮特許出願の内容全体は本願に組み入れられる。
Claims (28)
- プロセッサと、
前記プロセッサに動作可能に結合されたメモリと、
前記プロセッサにより使用される制御モジュールであって、エネルギ節約管理処理とキャパシティ及びカバレッジの最適化処理とを含む複数の自己最適化処理を、前記自己最適化処理に起因する無線ネットワークアクセスノードの設定パラメータの変更同士の間の競合が減るすように制御する制御モジュールと
を有するシステム。 - 1つ以上のアンテナを有する請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記エネルギ節約管理処理は、隣接するセルの無線ネットワークアクセスノードの電源遮断に応じて隣接セルのカバレッジを提供するように、オフピーク時の設定パラメータを調整する、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記エネルギ節約管理処理は、前記無線アクセスネットワークノードをエネルギ節約状態又はエネルギ節約補償状態にする、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記キャパシティ及びカバレッジの最適化処理に起因する設定パラメータの変更が、下りリンクの送信電力の変更、アンテナチルト角の変更、又はアンテナ方位角の変更を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記メモリがセマフォを含み、前記制御モジュールは、前記セマフォを利用して前記複数の自己最適化処理を制御する、請求項1〜5のうち何れか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記制御モジュールが、自己最適化処理のトリガとなるイベントを検出し、前記自己最適化処理を開始する前に、前記セマフォがロック状態であるか或いはアンロック状態であるかを確認する、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記制御モジュールが、前記セマフォはロック状態であるか或いはアンロック状態であるかを確認するためにアトミックテストアンドセットコマンドを実行するように形成されている、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記セマフォはロック状態であることが確認された場合、前記制御モジュールは、前記自己最適化アルゴリズムを開始することを控えるように形成されている、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが、エボルブドユニバーサル地上無線アクセスネットワーク(E−UTRAN)で動作するように形成されたエボルブドノードBである、請求項1〜5のうち何れか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが、WiMAXサービスを提供するネットワークで動作するように形成された基地局である、請求項1〜5のうち何れか1項に記載のシステム。
- コンピュータが実行する処理方法であって、
無線ネットワークアクセスノードが、キャパシティ及びカバレッジの最適化処理のトリガを受けたことを確認するステップと、
前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードがエネルギ節約管理処理を実行しているか否かを、前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが確認するステップと、
前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードは前記エネルギ節約管理処理を実行していないことが確認された場合に、前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが前記キャパシティ及びカバレッジの最適化処理を開始するステップと
を有する処理方法。 - 前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードがエネルギ節約管理処理を実行しているか否かを、前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが確認する前記ステップが、
セマフォがロック状態になっているか否かを確認するために前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが前記セマフォを検査するステップと、
前記セマフォがロック状態になっていないことが確認された場合に、前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが前記セマフォをロック状態に設定するステップと
を有する、請求項12に記載の処理方法。 - 無線ネットワークアクセスノードが、前記エネルギ節約管理処理のトリガを受けたことを確認するステップと、
前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが、前記キャパシティ及びカバレッジの最適化処理を実行しているか否かを、前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが確認するステップと、
前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードは前記キャパシティ及びカバレッジの最適化処理を実行していないことが確認された場合に、前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが前記エネルギ節約管理処理を開始するステップと
を有する請求項12に記載の処理方法。 - 前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが、前記キャパシティ及びカバレッジの最適化処理を実行しているか否かを、前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが確認する前記ステップが、
セマフォがロック状態になっているか否かを確認するために前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが前記セマフォを検査するステップと、
前記セマフォがロック状態になっていないことが確認された場合に、前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードが前記セマフォをロック状態に設定するステップと
を有する、請求項14に記載の処理方法。 - 前記キャパシティ及びカバレッジの最適化処理が、前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードの設定パラメータを変更することを含む、請求項12に記載の処理方法。
- 前記設定パラメータの変更が、下りリンクの送信電力の変更、アンテナチルト角の変更、又はアンテナ方位角の変更を含む、請求項16に記載の処理方法。
- 前記エネルギ節約管理処理が、前記無線ネットワークアクセスノードの設定パラメータを変更することを含む、請求項12に記載の処理方法。
- 前記設定パラメータの変更が、下りリンクの送信電力の変更、アンテナチルト角の変更、又はアンテナ方位角の変更を含む、請求項18に記載の処理方法。
- 前記セマフォはロック状態であることが確認された場合には、前記キャパシティ及びカバレッジの最適化処理を開始することを控える、請求項12に記載の処理方法。
- 前記セマフォはロック状態であることが確認された場合には、前記エネルギ節約管理処理を開始することを控える、請求項13に記載の処理方法。
- 複数の命令を有するコンピュータ装置により読み取ることが可能な少なくとも1つの記憶媒体であって、前記命令は、コンピュータ装置において実行される場合に、請求項12〜21のうちの何れか1項に記載の処理方法を前記コンピュータ装置に実行させる、記憶媒体。
- 請求項12〜21のうちの何れか1項に記載の処理方法を実行するように形成された装置。
- 複数の命令を有するコンピュータ装置により読み取ることが可能な少なくとも1つの記憶媒体であって、前記命令は、エボルブドノードB(eNB)により実行される場合に、
エネルギ節約管理処理を含む複数の自己最適化処理を、前記自己最適化処理に起因する前記eNBの設定パラメータの変更同士の間の競合が減るすように前記eNBが制御できるようにする、記憶媒体。 - 前記複数の自己最適化処理は、負荷の均衡化、ハンドオーバパフォーマンスの最適化、キャパシティ及びカバレッジの最適化、セル間干渉の軽減、及び無線伝送パラメータの最適化のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項24に記載の記憶媒体。
- 前記エネルギ節約管理処理は、隣接するセルのeNBの電源遮断に応じて隣接セルのカバレッジを提供するように、オフピーク時の設定パラメータを調整する、請求項24に記載の記憶媒体。
- 前記自己最適化処理に起因する設定パラメータの変更が、下りリンクの送信電力の変更、アンテナチルト角の変更、又はアンテナ方位角の変更を含む、請求項26に記載の記憶媒体。
- 前記複数の自己最適化処理がセマフォを使用することにより制御される、請求項24〜27のうちの何れか1項に記載の記憶媒体。
