Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an engine and a work machine.
Conventionally, for example, Patent Document 1 discloses that a negative pressure of an intake pipe is used as a driving force of a fuel pump, a working chamber of the fuel pump, and a passage opening to a downstream portion and an upstream portion of the throttle valve of the intake passage. Is described, and it is described that the discharge pressure of the fuel pump can be prevented from becoming excessively high during low load operation of the engine.
However, conventionally, when the pressure fluctuation on the intake side is used as the driving force of the fuel pump, the pump performance of the fuel pump decreases as the engine speed increases. Basically, as the engine speed increases, the required amount of fuel also increases.
Therefore, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an engine and a work machine that can reliably obtain the pump performance required for sucking up fuel at any rotational speed.
As a means for solving the above-mentioned problem, the engine is an engine including a diaphragm carburetor that injects fuel sucked up from a fuel tank, and the diaphragm carburetor is isolated from the diaphragm having flexibility. A pulsation of the burned gas generated by the combustion of the fuel is transmitted to the transmission chamber, and the transmission chamber is combusted to the fuel chamber via the diaphragm. The fuel chamber is connected to a fuel tank, and the fuel to be sucked up is stored.
In the engine, it is preferable that the fuel chamber transmits the pulsation of the burned gas by the diaphragm being pushed out to the fuel chamber side by repeatedly positive pressure in the transmission chamber.
The engine preferably includes a biasing member that is provided in the fuel chamber and biases the diaphragm from the fuel chamber side toward the transmission chamber side.
The engine has an exhaust port extending from a region where fuel burns and through which the burned gas flows, and a muffler extending from the exhaust port and exhausting the burned gas. It is preferably transmitted from the exhaust port or the muffler to the transmission chamber.
As another means for solving the above-described problem, the working machine is a working machine including an engine having a diaphragm carburetor that injects fuel sucked up from a fuel tank, and the diaphragm carburetor has flexibility. A diaphragm, a transmission chamber and a fuel chamber formed by isolating the diaphragm, and a pulsation of a burned gas generated by combustion of fuel is transmitted to the transmission chamber, and the transmission chamber is transferred to the fuel chamber. On the other hand, the pulsation of the burned gas is transmitted through the diaphragm, the fuel chamber is connected to the fuel tank, and the fuel to be sucked is stored.
According to the present invention, the pulsation of the burned gas is transmitted to the fuel chamber and is used to suck up the fuel. The pulsation of the burned gas is small when the engine is low and high when the engine is high. Therefore, it is possible to provide an engine and a work machine that can reliably obtain the pump performance required for sucking up fuel at any rotational speed.
The engine according to the present invention can be applied to, for example, a 4-stroke type or a 2-stroke type engine. Further, as a diaphragm type carburetor in the engine according to the present invention, for example, a diaphragm type carburetor in a four stroke type engine can be exemplified.
The fuel sucked up by the diaphragm carburetor of the engine according to the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it is a fuel used in a normal internal combustion engine. For example, gasoline, light oil, heavy oil, bioethanol or the like can be used.
An embodiment of an engine according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a schematic sectional view of a four-stroke engine 1 that is an embodiment of the engine according to the present invention.
The engine 1 includes an
The engine 1 burns when a mixture of outside air and fuel taken in from the outside flows into the combustion chamber and is ignited, and exhausts the burned gas generated thereby. As the
The
Since the
The upper part of the

Next, an embodiment of a diaphragm carburetor in an engine according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG. FIG. 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view schematically showing a part of the engine 1 shown in FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram, each member shown in FIG. 2 may differ from the detailed shape, position, size, scale, and the like of each member shown in FIG.

First, members other than the
In addition to the
In the
Next, functions and the like of each member other than the

The
The
The
The
In the
In the
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the

FIG. 3 is a graph showing the intake pulses at the
3A shows an intake pulse when the engine 1 is in an idle state, and FIG. 3B shows an intake pulse when the engine 1 is in a fully open state. In the
In a conventional diaphragm carburetor for an engine, for example, a transmission chamber is often connected to an intake port, for example. Therefore, the pump performance of the diaphragm carburetor is high in the idle state where there is no problem even if a large amount of gasoline is sucked up in the past, but it is unnecessary. It was low. A commercially available engine is designed so as not to cause a fatal hindrance to driving the engine in a fully opened state where the pump performance is low.
However, as one form of improving the performance of the engine, in the case of improving the output, for example, a form in which the amount of outside air taken in is increased by increasing the inner diameter of the venturi part. When the inner diameter of the venturi portion is increased, it is necessary to increase the injection amount of fuel such as gasoline in accordance with the increase of the circulation amount of the outside air. In this case, as long as the intake pulse is used to suck up gasoline, the pump performance is insufficient. Therefore, conventionally, it has been difficult to improve engine performance.
Furthermore, the gasoline tank is normally sealed except during refueling in order to prevent fuel leakage and the like. Therefore, when gasoline is sucked up by the diaphragm carburetor, the pressure in the gasoline tank becomes negative. As a result, in order for the engine to continue to drive, it is necessary to maintain the force of the diaphragm carburetor that sucks gasoline larger than the negative pressure in the gasoline tank. A conventional diaphragm carburetor whose pump performance decreases when it is fully opened, it becomes difficult to continue sucking gasoline from the gasoline tank as the gasoline consumption increases. Of course, a commercially available engine is unlikely to stall due to the inability to suck up gasoline. For example, when the engine is kept fully open or when the engine output is improved, Not as long.
In addition, a breather is often provided in the gasoline tank for safety. For example, when the internal pressure of the gasoline tank drops to about -7 to -8 kPa, the check valve is opened, so that the atmosphere is It is taken in. Therefore, depending on the operating conditions, it is difficult for the diaphragm carburetor to suck up the gasoline before the internal pressure of the conventional gasoline tank reaches the pressure threshold value at which the check valve is opened, which may result in a stall. It was.
Conventionally, there has been a form in which the transmission chamber of the diaphragm carburetor is connected to the crank chamber. When the crank chamber pressure fluctuation is used to suck up gasoline, if a mixture of engine oil and gas flows into the transmission chamber, accurate pulsation is not transmitted to the diaphragm due to the difference in compressibility between the liquid and gas. There is. Therefore, since the pulsation of only the gas is an accurate pressure fluctuation, it is necessary to provide an oil suction prevention mechanism between the crank chamber wet with the engine oil and the first flow passage. This leads to a complicated structure of the apparatus.
4A shows an exhaust pulse when the engine 1 is in an idle state, and FIG. 4B shows an exhaust pulse when the engine 1 is in a fully open state. In the
According to the graph shown in FIG. 4, the
Therefore, when the exhaust pulse is used for sucking up gasoline, the pressure fluctuation amount of the exhaust pulse increases as the exhaust amount of the engine 1 increases. That is, as one form of improving the performance of the engine 1, when the output is improved, the pump performance of the
When the exhaust pulse is transmitted to the
Therefore, when only the minimum members necessary for transmitting the exhaust pulsation, the
Furthermore, since the
In addition, even if the internal pressure of the
Since a liquid such as engine oil does not flow into the
Here, another example of the transmission form of the pulsation of the burned gas of the diaphragm type carburetor in the engine according to the present invention is shown in FIG. In addition, since each member other than the
A difference between the
In the present invention, the temperature of the burned gas flowing through the exhaust flow passage gradually decreases from the exhaust port as the exhaust upstream portion toward the exhaust port of the muffler as the exhaust downstream portion. Therefore, when connecting a 1st flow path to an exhaust port etc., it is preferable that a 1st flow path has at least one of the thermal insulation part which can thermally radiate, and the heat insulation part which insulates with respect to a transmission chamber. The transmission chamber may have a heat radiating portion. As the heat radiating part and the heat insulating part, conventionally known appropriate members for heat dissipation and appropriate members for heat insulation can be used. As a result, even if hot exhaust gas flows into the transmission chamber via the first flow passage, the diaphragm, the fuel sucked into the fuel chamber, etc. are melted, broken, burned, etc. by heat transfer. The irreversible unintentional malfunction does not occur.
However, in the present invention, when the exhaust flow passage is connected to the transmission chamber, basically, the exhaust flow passage is closed to the transmission chamber, so even if the pulsation of the burned gas is transmitted, The heated and burned gas itself does not flow in a large amount into the transmission chamber. Therefore, for example, the flow passage connecting the exhaust flow passage such as the
As a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first flow passage may include a pressure transmission member that transmits the exhaust pulse to the transmission chamber. For example, when the first flow path extends from the
