Abstract
Description
Embodiments described herein relate generally to a carbon dioxide recovery device and an amine recovery method.
In recent years, as one of the causes of global warming, the greenhouse effect of carbon dioxide contained in combustion exhaust gas generated when burning fossil fuel has been pointed out. To address this issue, countries are working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Under such circumstances, in a thermal power plant that uses a large amount of fossil fuel, the combustion exhaust gas produced by burning fossil fuel is brought into contact with the amine-based absorbent, and carbon dioxide is separated and recovered from the combustion exhaust gas. However, a method for storing the recovered carbon dioxide without releasing it into the atmosphere has been studied.
Specifically, an absorption tower that absorbs carbon dioxide contained in combustion exhaust gas in an amine-based absorption liquid and an absorption liquid (rich liquid) that has absorbed carbon dioxide are supplied from the absorption tower, the rich liquid is heated, and the rich liquid A carbon dioxide recovery system including a regeneration tower for releasing carbon dioxide gas from the water and regenerating an absorbing solution is known. A reboiler for supplying a heat source is connected to the regeneration tower. The absorption liquid (lean liquid) regenerated in the regeneration tower is supplied to the absorption tower, and the absorption liquid circulates in this system.
However, in such a conventional system, when the combustion exhaust gas in which carbon dioxide has been absorbed by the amine-based absorption liquid is released from the absorption tower, the amine component is scattered with the combustion exhaust gas to the atmosphere.
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a carbon dioxide recovery device and an amine recovery method that suppress scattering of an amine component into the atmosphere.
According to the present embodiment, the carbon dioxide recovery device absorbs carbon dioxide contained in the combustion exhaust gas in the absorption liquid containing amine, and discharges the absorption liquid containing carbon dioxide, and discharges from the absorption tower. The absorption liquid is supplied, the carbon dioxide gas containing the vapor is removed from the absorption liquid, the regeneration tower for regenerating and discharging the absorption liquid, and the absorption liquid in the regeneration tower connected to the regeneration tower A reboiler to be heated, provided between the absorption tower and the regeneration tower, and using an absorption liquid discharged from the regeneration tower and supplied to the absorption tower as a heat source, discharged from the absorption tower to the regeneration tower. A regenerative heat exchanger that heats the supplied absorbent. The absorption tower is configured to bring the combustion exhaust gas containing carbon dioxide into contact with the absorption liquid supplied from the regenerative heat exchanger, and to absorb the carbon dioxide in the absorption liquid, an acid and an amine. A first amine recovery unit that circulates the amine recovery liquid that is contained, contacts the amine recovery liquid with the combustion exhaust gas in which carbon dioxide has been absorbed, and recovers the amine accompanying the combustion exhaust gas to the amine recovery liquid; A second amine recovery unit that brings the circulating cleaning water into contact with the combustion exhaust gas that has passed through the first amine recovery unit and recovers the amine accompanying the combustion exhaust gas to the cleaning water.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
(First Embodiment) FIG. 1 shows a schematic configuration of a carbon dioxide recovery apparatus according to a first embodiment. The carbon dioxide recovery device is supplied with an
For example, the combustion exhaust gas 1 generated in a power generation facility such as a thermal power plant is supplied to the lower part of the
The
The
In the example shown in FIG. 1, the
Regenerative heat exchange is performed between the
The
On the other hand, the
The
The
In the first
The
Further, a part of the
For example, when sulfuric acid is used as the acid to be added to the
Examples of the acid component include phosphoric acid, oxalic acid, chromic acid, boric acid, hydrochloric acid, and acetic acid in addition to sulfuric acid. It is necessary to select an appropriate flocculant depending on the acid to be selected. When a volatile acid such as hydrochloric acid is used, the
For example, as shown in FIG. 2, a liquid
The second
The combustion exhaust gas rising from the first
The
In addition,
Thus, according to this embodiment, scattering of the amine component to air | atmosphere can be suppressed. A part of the
In the first embodiment, a pipe capable of feeding the cleaning
(Second Embodiment) FIG. 3 shows a schematic configuration of a carbon dioxide recovery apparatus according to a second embodiment of the present invention. This embodiment is different from the first embodiment shown in FIG. 1 in that the desulfurization liquid of the combustion exhaust gas 1 is used as the
As shown in FIG. 3, the combustion exhaust gas 1 is supplied to the lower part of the
A part of the desulfurization liquid is supplied to the
(Third Embodiment) FIG. 4 shows a schematic configuration of a carbon dioxide recovery apparatus according to a third embodiment of the present invention. This embodiment is different from the first embodiment shown in FIG. 1 in that a third
The third
The combustion exhaust gas rising from the second
The
In order to reuse the amine collected in the cleaning
Therefore, in this embodiment, a plurality of amine recovery units using the cleaning water are provided, and the cleaning water from the second
Further, in the third
Although not shown in FIG. 4, when the amine concentration in the

(Fourth Embodiment) FIG. 5 shows a schematic configuration of a carbon dioxide recovery apparatus according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention. In the present embodiment, compared with the first embodiment shown in FIG. 1, a part of the
When the acid concentration in the
(Fifth Embodiment) FIG. 6 shows a schematic configuration of a carbon dioxide recovery apparatus according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention. Compared with the first embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the present embodiment is a
In this embodiment, in order to control the amine concentration of the
On the other hand, when the amine concentration in the
Thus, by adjusting the temperature of the
(Sixth Embodiment) In the first to fifth embodiments, the acid concentration of the
According to at least one embodiment described above, the amine component is prevented from scattering into the atmosphere, and a part of the amine recovery liquid used for recovering the amine component accompanying the combustion exhaust gas is regenerated as an amine absorbing liquid. It can be used as an absorbent that circulates through the carbon dioxide recovery device.
