Description
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a ceramic heater.
A ceramic heater in which a resistance heating element made of a refractory metal is embedded between a core material and an insulating sheet covering the core material is used as a heat source in an oxygen sensor for automobiles, a glow system, etc. It is widely used as a heat source for oil vaporizers such as heaters and oil fan heaters.
Patent Document 1 describes a method for producing a ceramic heater used for such a purpose. Specifically, an adhesive green sheet is formed on a release film by screen printing, and a conductor is formed thereon. A method for producing a ceramic heater by forming a paste by screen printing and further forming an insulating green sheet by screen printing, peeling off a release film to produce a laminate, and winding the laminate on a core material is described. Has been.
In addition, the above-described manufacturing method requires at least three printing steps of printing an adhesive green sheet, printing a conductive paste, and printing an insulating green sheet. Since there are many printing steps, the number of steps is reduced, There was a need to simplify.
Moreover, since the release film becomes disposable and there is a problem that the waste increases, there has been a demand for a method that does not use the release film.
An object of this invention is to provide the manufacturing method of the ceramic heater which can manufacture a ceramic heater by a simple process, without using a release film in view of the said subject.
In order to achieve the above object, a method for producing a ceramic heater according to the present invention includes a columnar or cylindrical core material, a core material coating layer formed on a side surface of the core material, and an upper surface of the core material coating layer. A heater part and a power feeding part of a predetermined pattern formed on the core material coating layer and the heater part and the power feeding part so as to cover the heater part and the power feeding part except for a part of the power feeding part. A method of manufacturing a ceramic heater comprising an insulating layer formed on a wiring pattern, wherein a conductive paste is used on the surface of a flat plate-shaped transfer member made of an elastic body, and the heater part and the power feeding part are formed by screen printing. A wiring pattern printing step for printing the wiring pattern, an insulating material layer A serving as a core coating layer on the transfer member on which the wiring pattern is printed, and an insulating layer in a region where the wiring pattern does not exist An insulating material layer printing step for continuously printing the insulating material layer B, and the insulating material layer A to which the wiring pattern has been transferred is wound around the core material once, and further on the insulating material layer A, And a winding step of further winding the insulating material layer B one or more times.
In the method for manufacturing a ceramic heater according to the present invention, waste is not increased because a release film is not used during the manufacturing process. The printing process includes only a wiring pattern printing process and an insulating material layer printing process. The core material is rolled on the insulating material layer to transfer the wiring pattern to the insulating material layer A, and the insulating material layer. By adopting a step of winding A and the insulating material layer B at least twice, a ceramic heater can be easily manufactured.

(Evaluation)
Next, when the ceramic heater manufactured in Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Example 1 was heated to 500 ° C. and then subjected to a heat cycle test in which a cooling cycle for cooling to room temperature was repeated, Examples 1 to 3 were cycled. Heating and cooling were successfully repeated up to several 500 times. At the same time as this heat cycle test, the heat generation state of the heater part was observed using a thermoviewer, and heat was generated substantially uniformly over the entire area of the heater part.
However, it was confirmed that Comparative Example 1 was difficult to heat when the number of cycles exceeded 300. In addition, it was also confirmed that Examples 1 to 3 could simplify the process and that the production time was shorter than that of Comparative Example 1.
