The present invention relates to a power reception device and a power transmission device, and more particularly to a power reception device and a power transmission device used in a power transmission system that transmits power in a contactless manner.
Various power transmission systems that transmit power in a contactless manner between a power transmission device and a power reception device have been proposed (
In the power receiving device and power transmitting device used for non-contact power transmission, in addition to the power receiving coil and power transmitting coil for exchanging power in a non-contact manner, a foreign object detection sensor for detecting the presence or absence of a foreign material between the power receiving coil and the power transmitting coil. In addition, devices such as a capacitor for forming a resonance circuit with each coil, a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature in the vicinity of the coil, and a cooling device for cooling the coil may be provided.
For example, in JP2013-242168A (Patent Document 1), in a power receiving device and a power transmitting device used in a power transmission system that transmits power in a contactless manner, the power receiving coil and the power transmitting coil are disposed close to each other. It is disclosed to provide a foreign object detection device that detects the presence or absence of a foreign object between a power receiving coil and a power transmitting coil (see Patent Document 1).
A device arranged close to the power receiving coil or the power transmitting coil, such as the above foreign object detection device, is exposed to a magnetic field formed around the power receiving coil and the power transmitting coil during power transmission from the power transmitting coil to the power receiving coil. . Since the device may malfunction when exposed to a magnetic field, it is necessary to reduce the influence of the magnetic field on the device.
Here, the influence of the magnetic field on the device also changes depending on the environment in which the power receiving coil and the power transmission coil are placed during power transmission. For example, the dielectric constant changes due to the material of the base on which the power transmission coil is installed, mud, ice and snow, etc. attached to the cover of the power reception coil, and the influence of the magnetic field on the device changes. Even if there is such a change in the environment, it is necessary to effectively reduce the influence of the magnetic field on the device.
The present invention has been made to solve such a problem, and an object of the present invention is to provide a power transmission system that transmits power from a power transmission device to a power reception device in a contactless manner, even if the environment during power transmission changes. It is to effectively reduce the influence of the magnetic field.
According to this invention, the power receiving device includes a power receiving coil, a device, a metal object, a guard coil, a temperature sensor, and a phase control device. The power reception coil receives power in a non-contact manner from the power transmission coil of the power transmission device. The device is disposed close to the power receiving coil. The metal object is disposed close to the device. A guard coil produces | generates the 2nd magnetic field which suppresses the influence on the apparatus of the 1st magnetic field formed at the time of the power transmission from a power transmission coil to a receiving coil. The temperature sensor detects the temperature of the metal object. The phase control device controls the phase of the voltage (or current) supplied to the guard coil based on the phase of the voltage (or current) induced by receiving power by the power receiving coil. The phase control device further adjusts the phase of the voltage (or current) supplied to the guard coil in a direction in which the temperature of the metal object decreases based on the detection value of the temperature sensor.
In this power receiving device, the phase of the voltage (or current) supplied to the guard coil is controlled based on the phase of the voltage (or current) induced by the power reception by the power receiving coil, and further the detection of the temperature sensor. The temperature of the metal object is adjusted to decrease in accordance with the value (feedback control based on temperature). When a metal is exposed to a magnetic field, an eddy current is generated and heat is generated. Therefore, by adjusting the phase in a direction in which the temperature of a metal object disposed close to the device decreases, the first magnetic field applied to the device is reduced. The impact can be reliably reduced. In this power receiving device, even if the environment in which the power receiving coil and the power transmitting coil are placed during power transmission changes due to the configuration as described above, based on the temperature of the metal object disposed close to the device, The phase is adjusted to reduce the effect of the first magnetic field on the device. Therefore, according to this power receiving device, the influence of the magnetic field on the device can be effectively reduced even if the environment during power transmission changes.
Preferably, the reference phase is determined based on the phase of a voltage (or current) induced by power reception by the power reception coil. The phase control device is supplied to the guard coil based on data prepared in advance indicating the relationship between the temperature of the metal object and the amount of phase shift from the reference phase of the voltage (or current) supplied to the guard coil. Adjust the phase of voltage (or current).
According to this power receiving device, the phase of the voltage (or current) supplied to the guard coil can be easily adjusted based on the data prepared in advance.
Preferably, the power receiving device further includes an insulating transformer. The insulating transformer is provided between the power receiving coil and a charger for charging the power storage device. The insulating transformer includes a first induction coil, a second induction coil, and a third induction coil. The first induction coil is electrically connected to the power receiving coil. The second induction coil is electrically connected to the charger and is magnetically coupled to the first induction coil. The third induction coil is further magnetically coupled to the first induction coil. The phase control device reverses the phase of the voltage (or current) generated in the third induction coil, adjusts the phase of the voltage (or current) obtained by inverting the phase based on the detection value of the temperature sensor, and supplies it to the guard coil. .
According to this power reception device, the voltage (or current) supplied to the guard coil can be easily generated using the third induction coil and the phase control device further provided in the insulating transformer.
Preferably, the metal object is a housing that accommodates the device. The guard coil is provided in the housing.
According to this power receiving device, since the casing for housing the device is used as the metal object whose temperature is detected, it is not necessary to separately provide a metal object close to the device.
Preferably, the device is a foreign object detection sensor that detects a foreign object between the power transmission coil and the power reception coil.
According to this power receiving device, it is possible to effectively reduce the influence of the magnetic field on the foreign object detection sensor. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the foreign object detection sensor from malfunctioning.
Preferably, the power receiving coil is formed so as to surround a winding axis extending in the vertical direction. The guard coil and the device are disposed above the power receiving coil, assuming that the power receiving coil receives power from below the power receiving coil.
Preferably, the power receiving coil is formed so as to surround a winding axis extending in the horizontal direction. The guard coil and the device are disposed above the power receiving coil, assuming that the power receiving coil receives power from the power transmitting coil located below the power receiving coil.
According to this power receiving device, it is possible to effectively reduce the influence of the first magnetic field formed when power is transmitted from the power transmitting device to the power receiving device, even for the device disposed above the power receiving coil.
Moreover, according to this invention, a power transmission apparatus is provided with a power transmission coil, an apparatus, a metal object, a guard coil, a temperature sensor, and a phase adjustment apparatus. The power transmission coil transmits power to the power reception coil of the power reception device in a contactless manner. The device is disposed close to the power transmission coil. The phase control device controls the phase of the voltage (or current) supplied to the guard coil based on the phase of the voltage (or current) supplied to the power transmission coil. The phase control device further adjusts the phase of the voltage (or current) supplied to the guard coil in a direction in which the temperature of the metal object decreases based on the detection value of the temperature sensor.
According to this power transmission device, even if the environment during power transmission changes, the influence of the magnetic field on the device can be effectively reduced.

The
The
The
FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating a circuit configuration for generating a voltage supplied to the
The insulating
The
Ideally, the magnetic flux φ2 generated in the
However, there is a possibility that a sufficient magnetic flux reduction effect cannot be obtained simply by generating a voltage having an opposite phase to the received voltage and supplying it to the
Therefore, in the first embodiment, the phase of the voltage E4 supplied to the
FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating an example of a voltage waveform when the phase control in the first embodiment is applied. Referring to FIG. 5, voltage E1 indicates the voltage of
The phase difference between the voltage E1 and the voltage E2 varies depending on the environment in which the
FIG. 6 is a flowchart for explaining phase control of the voltage supplied to the
Next, the
Phase φ of voltage E4 = reference phase φ0 + phase shift amount Δφ (1)
When the reference phase φ0 is determined in step S20, the
Next, the
If temperature T (n) is equal to or lower than maximum temperature Tmax (NO in step S60),
If it is determined in step S60 that temperature T (n) is higher than maximum temperature Tmax (YES in step S60),
If it is determined in step S90 that temperature difference ΔT is greater than 0 (YES in step S90),
Specifically, the phase shift amount Δφ is changed as follows. FIG. 7 is a diagram showing the relationship between the temperature T detected by the
Referring to FIG. 6 again, when phase shift amount Δφ is changed in step S100 or S110,
