Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an electric wire with a terminal.
Conventionally, the thing of
In order to improve the electrical connection reliability between the electric wire and the terminal, it can be considered that the crimping portion is crimped to the core wire in a highly compressed state. Thereby, the oxide film formed on the outer peripheral surface of the core wire can be peeled to expose the metal surface of the core wire. It was expected that the electrical resistance between the electric wire and the terminal was reduced by the contact between the metal surface and the crimping portion.
However, when the crimping portion is crimped to the core wire in a highly compressed state as described above, stress concentrates at the boundary between the end portion of the highly compressed crimping portion and the core wire, and a plurality of strands constituting the core wire It was feared that some of them would break easily. Then, when a tensile force is applied to the electric wire, there is a possibility that the fixing force between the terminal and the electric wire is reduced.
In addition, there is a concern that the tensile elongation of the core wire is reduced when a tensile force is applied to the electric wire due to stress concentration at the boundary between the end portion of the highly compressed crimping portion and the core wire. When the tensile elongation of the core wire is reduced, the workability when routing the wire harness may be reduced.
This invention was completed based on the above situations, Comprising: The adhesive force between an electric wire and a terminal is improved, or providing the electric wire with a terminal by which the tensile elongation of the core wire was improved. Objective.
The present invention is an electric wire with a terminal comprising an electric wire having a core wire composed of a plurality of strands and a terminal connected to the core wire, the terminal being a bottom wall on which the core wire is placed; A crimping portion that protrudes laterally from the bottom wall and is crimped so as to be wound around the outer periphery of the core wire, and the crimping portion is formed at a position near the rear end portion in the extending direction of the electric wire. And a rear inclined portion that is separated from the bottom wall as it extends rearward in the extending direction, and a compression portion that is formed in front of the extending direction with respect to the rear inclined portion, and the rear inclined portion The ratio value BH / BL of the projection length dimension BH from the compression section in the direction away from the bottom wall to the projection length dimension BL from the compression section rearward in the extending direction is 0. 20 to 0.70.
According to the present invention, in the rear inclined portion of the crimping portion, the compression state of the core wire gradually changes from the high compression state to the low compression state from the front end portion to the rear end portion of the rear inclination portion. Thereby, since it is suppressed that stress concentrates in the boundary part of the rear-end part of a crimping | compression-bonding part, and a core wire, it can suppress that a strand breaks. As a result, when a tensile force is applied to the electric wire, the fixing force between the electric wire and the terminal can be improved.
Moreover, the tensile elongation of a core wire can be improved by suppressing that stress concentrates in the boundary part of the rear-end part and core wire of a crimping | compression-bonding part. Then, since the toughness of the electric wire with a terminal is improved, even when a tensile force is suddenly applied to the electric wire, the core wire is suppressed from breaking. As a result, when wiring a wire harness in which a plurality of electric wires with terminals are bundled, it is not necessary to work excessively so that a tensile force does not act on the wires. Can be improved.
As embodiments of the present invention, the following embodiments are preferable.
The inclination angle θ of the rear inclined part is preferably 10 ° to 30 °.
According to said aspect, the tensile elongation of a core wire can be improved.
The crimping part is formed by being sandwiched between an upper mold and a lower mold, and the rear inclined part is formed when the crimping part is crimped to the core wire. It is preferably formed in a region in contact with the rear inclined surface formed on the lower surface of the mold.
According to said aspect, a rear side inclination part can be reliably formed in a defined shape.
The crimp portion is further formed with a front inclined portion that is formed in front of the compression portion in the extending direction and that is separated from the bottom wall toward the front in the extending direction. The ratio value FH / FL of the projection length dimension FH from the compression section in the direction away from the bottom wall to the projection length dimension FL from the compression section forward in the extending direction is 0.20. It is preferable that it is -0.70.
According to said aspect, the adhering force between an electric wire and a terminal can be improved. Moreover, the tensile elongation of the core wire can be improved.
The crimp portion is formed by being sandwiched between an upper die and a lower die, and the front inclined portion is formed when the crimp portion is crimped to the core wire. It is preferably formed in a region in contact with the front inclined surface formed on the lower surface of the mold.
According to said aspect, a front side inclined surface can be reliably formed in a predetermined shape.
The strand is made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy.
When the strand is made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, a strong oxide film is formed on the surface of the strand. For this reason, in order to securely connect the core wire and the crimping portion, it is required to crimp the crimping portion to the core wire in a highly compressed state. Then, it becomes easy to break the strand. The technique disclosed in the present specification is particularly effective in the electric wire with terminal configured as described above.
It is preferable that the length dimension W of the said compression part about the said extension direction is 0.50 mm-1.50 mm.
According to said aspect, the adhering force between an electric wire and a terminal can be improved.
Sectional area of the core wire is 0.05mm 2 ~1.00mm 2.
Since the core wire which concerns on said aspect is comparatively thin, when a crimping | compression-bonding part is crimped | bonded to a core wire in a highly compressed state, a strand is easy to break. The technique disclosed in the present specification is particularly effective in the electric wire with terminal configured as described above.
According to the present invention, the fixing force between the electric wire and the terminal is improved, or the tensile elongation of the core wire is improved.

(Configuration of the rear inclined portion 20)

According to the present embodiment, in the rear
Moreover, the tensile elongation of the
Moreover, in this embodiment, the length dimension W of the
Moreover, in this embodiment, the inclination | tilt angle (theta) of the rear
In the present embodiment, the
In the present embodiment, the crimping portion is further formed with a front
Further, in the present embodiment, the
Moreover, in this embodiment, the
In the present embodiment, the cross-sectional area of the
Further, in the present embodiment, the

The inclination angle θ is preferably 13.5 ° to 28.1 ° because the elongation amount is 1.76% or more, and 16.7 ° to 26.6 because the elongation amount is 2.27% or more. 6 ° is more preferable, and the elongation is 3.38% to 3.44%, so 17.7 ° to 21.8 ° is particularly preferable.
