Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a radiation tube applicable to a nondestructive inspection apparatus and the like in the medical equipment field and the industrial equipment field, and a radiation generating apparatus including the radiation tube.
The radiation tube generates radiation by accelerating the electrons emitted from the electron source with a high voltage and irradiating the target. Radiation generation efficiency is extremely low, and most of the input power becomes heat at the target. Since the target is heated by this heat, a heat dissipation structure that prevents thermal damage to the target is required.
Moreover, in patent document 2, the cover which permeate | transmits X-rays was attached to the recessed part of the structure in which the target material was installed, and the inside of the recessed part was made into non-oxidizing atmospheres, such as a vacuum and an inert gas, and prevented the oxidation of the target A target assembly is disclosed.
When an adhesive is used when joining the lid to the opening of the shield, the adhesive comes into contact with the electrical insulating oil as a cooling medium. At this time, the adhesive deteriorates due to a chemical reaction with the insulating oil, thereby reducing the airtightness of the lid. Then, when the high-temperature target and the insulating oil come into contact with each other, the insulating oil is deteriorated or deteriorated to reduce the withstand voltage, and the target is oxidized.
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a radiation tube provided with a sealed space in a shield bonded to a target. It is to prevent.
The radiation tube of the present invention includes an envelope having an opening, an electron source disposed inside the envelope, a target that generates radiation by irradiation of electrons emitted from the electron source, and the target A radiation tube that is disposed in the opening so as to surround the shield and shields a part of radiation emitted from the target, the shield having a passage communicating with the target The end of the passage is closed by a lid, and the lid is pressed and joined to the shield.
According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent deterioration and alteration of the cooling medium and at the same time prevent oxidation of the target. Therefore, it is possible to provide a radiation tube capable of stably outputting radiation for a long time.
The structure of the radiation tube of this embodiment is demonstrated. Although the radiation used in this embodiment is X-rays, it can also be applied to other radiation such as neutron beams and proton beams.
1 is a cross-sectional view of the
The
As the electron source 2, a hot cathode type electron source or a cold cathode type electron source is used. The electron source 2 is electrically connected to an external driving circuit via a
The
In general, a metal material having an atomic number of 26 or more can be used for the
The
The
The
The
By pressurizing the
The
Next, the
In the conventional method of adhering the
Next, the configuration of the radiation imaging system according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. The
The system control device 32 controls the

In order to produce the
Subsequently, the
Next, the
Finally, as shown in FIG. 2 (b), the
When the
(Example 2)
The radiation tube of this example was produced in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the anode part had the shape shown in FIGS. 3 (a) and 3 (b). The inner diameter of the opening of the
