Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a liquid feeding device, and more particularly, to a liquid feeding device that intermittently feeds a liquid material to a substrate.
In recent years, it has been known that some electronic components have a liquid material fed to a sheet-like base material. With such downsizing of electronic components, in the manufacturing process, when the liquid material is fed to the base material, the liquid material can be fed more uniformly with a thinner, more accurate thickness. As required. Further, from the viewpoint of improving productivity, it is required to feed a large amount of liquid material at a time. For this reason, a production technique for uniformly feeding the liquid material over the entire substrate is also required.
As one of such production techniques, for example, the amount of liquid material actually fed is constantly measured, and the liquid material is fed to a drive source such as a pump that delivers the liquid material at regular intervals. Techniques for feeding back measured quantities are known. Thereby, the liquid feeding amount stabilized over a long time can be maintained.
FIG. 10 shows an example of the configuration of a
As shown in FIG. 10, in the
In this case, in order to accurately measure the liquid material fed from the head H, it is necessary to dispose the flow meter FM between the first valve V1 and the head H as shown in FIG.
However, the change in the pressure between the first valve V1 and the head H increases due to the switching between the first valve V1 and the second valve V2. For this reason, as shown in FIG. 11, the indicated value of the flow meter RM does not become a stable value even while the liquid material is being fed. Therefore, in the
On the other hand, in addition to the
However, in the technique described in
Moreover, in patent document 2, in addition to the pressure value of the liquid material at the time of liquid feeding, the technique of controlling the liquid material feeding amount using the flow rate value of the liquid material at the time of liquid feeding is a fluid distribution system. Proposed. In the technique described in Patent Document 2, the pressure is controlled using the actual flow rate of the liquid material obtained from the flow meter. Thereby, with the technique described in Patent Document 2, a constant liquid feeding amount can be obtained without depending on the viscosity of the liquid material.
The technique described in Patent Document 2 described above calculates a theoretical flow rate for generating a pressure corresponding to a target flow rate, using an average pressure value and an average flow rate value when a liquid material is fed to a substrate. doing.
However, when the liquid material is intermittently supplied to the base material while moving the sheet-like base material, the pressure fluctuation becomes large when the liquid supply time with respect to the liquid supply amount is short. For this reason, the technique described in Patent Document 2 has a problem that the flow rate cannot be accurately measured in many cases. As a result, there may be a problem that a stable liquid feeding device cannot be realized.
This invention is made | formed in view of such a situation, and the objective of this invention is providing the liquid feeding apparatus which can suppress that the precision of the measurement result of a flowmeter falls.

A flow path that circulates to the tank T. The second flow path Q2 includes the second valve V2, the second pressure gauge M2, the tank T shown in FIG. 1, and a pipe connected to these (a pipe on which arrows b1, b2, b3, and b4 are written together). It is comprised by. As shown in FIG. 1, a branch point Z is a point where the second channel Q2 branches from the first channel Q1.
As shown in FIG. 1, the first valve V1 is provided on the first flow path Q1. The second valve V2 is a device that controls the flow of the liquid material in the second flow path Q2.
The first pressure gauge M1 is a device that measures the pressure in the first flow path Q1 downstream of the first valve V1. The pump P is a fluid machine that causes the liquid material stored in the tank T to flow out to the first flow path Q1.
The
As illustrated in FIG. 2, the
As shown in FIG. 2, the
As shown in FIG. 2, the discharge
As shown in FIG. 2, the
Further, the

Next, the liquid feeding operation of the
As shown in FIG. 3, first, the
Next, the
Next, the
Next, the liquid material sent from the pump P is branched to the first valve V1 side and the second valve V2 side via the flow meter FM. At that time, the
Here, the opening / closing control of the first valve V1 and the second valve V2 will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 4 is a diagram for explaining a pressure change when the first valve V1 and the second valve V2 of the
As shown in FIG. 4, the
Further, as shown in FIG. 4, the timing of the opening / closing time of the first valve V1 and the second valve V2 is such that the boundary between the intermittent liquid feeding part and the non-liquid feeding part from the head H is clear. Adjusted to For this reason, an opening time and a closing time may occur at the same time.
The opening / closing time of the first valve V1 and the second valve V2 also changes depending on the speed at which the substrate B is fed by the roller R.
The
(S105、Yes)。 Returning to FIG. 3, after repeating the process of S104 up to a predetermined number of liquid feeds (S105, No), when the predetermined number of liquid feeds is reached, the process of applying the liquid material to the substrate B is terminated. (S105, Yes).

Here, FIG. 6 and FIG. 11 are compared. In the example shown in FIG. 6, compared to the example shown in FIG. 11, since either the first valve V <b> 1 or the second valve V <b> 2 is open, the flow rate transition with less pulsation is obtained.
Returning to FIG. 5, the discharge
Next, the discharge
Next, a case where the liquid material is supplied to the second flow path Q2 when the opening / closing of the second valve V1 of the
As shown in FIG. 7, when the pressure in the second flow path Q2 rises during liquid feeding, the pressure ratio between the first pressure gauge M1 and the second pressure gauge M2 changes.
Next, an operation for stabilizing the discharge amount of the liquid material discharged from the head H of the
As shown in FIG. 8, first, the

As described above, the
The tank T stores a liquid material. The head H discharges the liquid material flowing out from the tank T. The first flow path Q1 supplies the liquid material from the tank T to the head H. The first valve V1 is provided on the first flow path Q1, and controls the flow of the liquid material in the first flow path Q1. The second flow path Q2 branches from the first flow path Q1 upstream of the first valve V1 in the first flow path Q1, and circulates the liquid material to the tank T. The second valve V2 is provided in the second flow path Q2, and controls the flow of the liquid material in the second flow path Q2. The first pressure gauge M1 measures the pressure in the first flow path Q1 downstream from the first valve V1. The second pressure gauge M2 measures the pressure in the second flow path Q2 on the downstream side of the second valve V2. The flow meter FM measures the flow rate of the first flow path Q1 upstream from the branch point between the first flow path Q1 and the second flow path Q2. The
Thus, in the
In addition, the
In this way, by controlling the discharge amount of the pump P, the discharge amount of the liquid material calculated by the discharge
