Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a grid interconnection device for a photovoltaic power generation facility that links the photovoltaic power generation facility to a distribution system.
As shown in Patent Document 1, a solar power generation facility includes a solar power generation unit that generates power by receiving sunlight and a power conditioner as main parts. The power conditioner includes a DC / AC conversion unit including an inverter, and the DC / AC conversion unit converts the DC output of the photovoltaic power generation unit into AC power having a commercial frequency. When connecting photovoltaic power generation equipment to the distribution system, install a transformer between the power conditioner and the distribution line, and boost the AC voltage output from the power conditioner to the distribution line. It is trying to apply. In this case, a grid interconnection apparatus is comprised by a power conditioner and a transformer. The transformer may be built in the power conditioner or may be installed outside the power conditioner.
In order to efficiently operate the photovoltaic power generation system connected to the grid, not only the loss generated in the DC / AC converter of the power conditioner is reduced, but also the output voltage of the power conditioner is boosted throughout the year. It is necessary to maximize the time that the transformer is operated in a highly efficient state.
Assuming that the output of the transformer is Po and the loss generated in the transformer is Pl, the efficiency η of the transformer is given by η = Po / (Po + Pl). The loss Pl generated in the transformer is composed of no-load loss (mainly iron loss) and load loss (mainly copper loss). The efficiency of the transformer varies depending on the load factor m of the transformer, and shows a maximum value when the load factor shows a certain value.
In general, in a power system, the ratio between average demand power and maximum demand power is referred to as a load factor, but the load factor m of a transformer is the ratio of the transformer output Po to the transformer rated output Pn (Po / Pn). In solar power generation equipment, the output of the solar power generation unit changes due to the intensity of sunlight, and the output of the transformer changes due to the output of the solar power generation unit, so the load factor of the transformer changes due to a change in the intensity of sunlight. The load factor of the transformer increases or decreases due to the increase or decrease in sunshine intensity. Even if the characteristics of the transformer are selected so that the load factor of the transformer becomes the value that maximizes the efficiency when the photovoltaic power generation unit generates output at a certain sunshine intensity, the sunshine intensity decreases. If so, the load factor of the transformer also decreases, and the efficiency of the transformer decreases.
In the invention described in Patent Document 1, an amorphous transformer is used as a transformer provided between the power conditioner and the power distribution system so as to reduce loss generated in the transformer. Even if it is used, there is no change in the load factor of the transformer due to a change in the sunshine intensity, and there is no change in the efficiency of the transformer if the sunshine intensity is reduced and the load factor is reduced.
In order to efficiently operate the transformer provided in the grid interconnection device for photovoltaic power generation facilities, the time during which the load factor m is operated in a state in which the load factor m shows a value near the value that maximizes the efficiency η is set throughout the year. It should be as long as possible. For that purpose, for example, data collected by actually measuring changes in the output of the photovoltaic power generation unit over a sufficiently long period (for example, a period of one year to several years) of one year or more at the location where the power generation equipment is installed. Based on the above, when the photovoltaic power generation unit generates an output with a high frequency measured, or when the photovoltaic power generation unit generates an average output, the load factor of the transformer It is conceivable to select the characteristics of the transformer so that the value near the load factor to be maximized is shown.
However, in reality, there are many days with low sunshine intensity throughout the year, and there are many days when the output of the solar power generation unit is not measured so frequently. Therefore, a single transformer device is used as described above. In this case, no matter how the transformer characteristics are selected, it can be avoided that there will be a considerable number of days when the transformer must be operated with low efficiency. Absent.
In addition, even if the characteristics of the transformer are selected based on the measurement results of the change in the output of the solar cell in one year, the change in the sunshine intensity in the next year does not always change in the same way. Therefore, it may not be said that the characteristics of the selected transformer are optimal.
The purpose of the present invention is not only when the sunshine intensity is higher than a certain level and the solar cell is generating a considerable output, but also when the sunshine intensity is relatively weak and the solar power generation unit can only generate a low output. By allowing the transformer to operate at high efficiency, the time during which the transformer device is operated in a low efficiency state is shorter than before, and the efficiency of the transformer device throughout the year is improved. Another object of the present invention is to provide a grid interconnection device for photovoltaic power generation equipment that can be improved.
The present invention relates to a DC / AC conversion unit that converts DC power output from a solar power generation unit into AC power of commercial frequency, and a transformer device that boosts the output voltage of the DC / AC conversion unit and supplies it to a distribution system It is applied to the grid interconnection apparatus for photovoltaic power generation facilities provided with.
In order to increase the efficiency of the transformer device throughout the year as much as possible by reducing the days when the transformer is operated with low efficiency in this type of interconnection device, the sunlight intensity is weak and the photovoltaic power generation unit is low It is preferable to allow the transformer to be operated as efficiently as possible even when only output can be generated. Therefore, in the present invention, the transformer device transforms the output voltage of the DC / AC converter and supplies it to the power distribution system, and the first transformer and the second transformer that are operated in parallel. The sum of the rated capacity of the first transformer and the rated capacity of the second transformer is set to be equal to or greater than the maximum output of the photovoltaic power generation unit. In the present invention, when the output of the DC / AC converter is equal to or higher than the set output, the output of the DC / AC converter is maintained so that the efficiency of the first transformer and the second transformer is equal to or higher than the set efficiency. On the other hand, an input distribution control unit for controlling the distribution of inputs to the first and second transformers is provided. The setting output of the DC / AC conversion unit is the output of the DC / AC conversion unit (solar light) capable of operating the first and second transformers with their respective efficiencies set higher than the set efficiency (setting efficiency). The lower limit of the range of the output of the power generation unit) is given.
The DC / AC conversion unit used in the present invention may convert DC power output from the solar power generation unit into single-phase AC power, or convert DC power output from the solar power generation unit into three-phase AC power. But you can. Naturally, when the DC / AC converter outputs single-phase AC power, the first and second transformers are single-phase transformers, and the DC / AC converter outputs three-phase AC power. The first and second transformers are three-phase transformers or three-phase connected transformers. The 1st transformer and the 2nd transformer should just be more than the maximum output of a photovoltaic power generation part, and the capacity | capacitance of both transformers may be equal, and may differ.
As described above, the transformer device is provided with the first transformer and the second transformer, and when the output of the DC / AC converter exceeds the set output, the first and second transformers If it is configured to control the distribution of inputs to the first and second transformers with respect to the output of the DC / AC converter so as to keep the efficiency at or above the set efficiency, the first transformer and By appropriately setting the efficiency-to-load factor characteristics of each of the second transformers and appropriately controlling the distribution of inputs given to the first transformer and the second transformer, The lower limit value of the output of the DC / AC conversion unit (output of the photovoltaic power generation unit) that can operate the device with the efficiency of the set range is a conventional transformer device configured by one transformer. It can be greatly reduced compared to the interconnection device. Therefore, the transformer device can be operated with high efficiency even when the sunshine is considerably weak, and the time during which the transformer device is operated in a low efficiency state is significantly shorter than before, so that the transformer device can be operated throughout the year. Efficiency can be improved.
In one aspect of the present invention, the input distribution control unit is any one of the power input from the DC / AC conversion unit to the first transformer and the power input from the DC / AC conversion unit to the second transformer. When the output of the input adjustment unit that adjusts one side and the output of the DC / AC conversion unit exceeds the set output, the input distribution to the first and second transformers exceeds the set efficiency. And an input control unit that controls the input adjustment unit so that the distribution can be maintained.
In still another aspect of the present invention, the input distribution control unit includes a first input adjustment unit that adjusts power input from the DC / AC conversion unit to the first transformer, and a second input from the DC / AC conversion unit. A second input adjusting unit that adjusts the power input to the transformer of the power supply, and distribution of inputs to the first and second transformers when the output of the DC / AC converter exceeds a set output Control unit that controls the first input adjustment unit and the second input adjustment unit in accordance with the output of the DC / AC conversion unit so that the efficiency of both transformers can be maintained to be equal to or higher than the set efficiency. It is set as the structure provided with.
As described above, when the input adjustment unit is provided for each of the first transformer and the second transformer, the input distribution to the first transformer and the second transformer is individually controlled. Therefore, it is possible to widen the range of load factor at which the transformer device can be operated with high efficiency, and to shorten the time during which the transformer device is operated in a low efficiency state. It is possible to improve the efficiency of the device more accurately.
In still another aspect of the present invention, the input control unit distributes the input to the first and second transformers, maintains the efficiency of the first and second transformers above the set efficiency, and And the second input transformer, the first input adjusting unit and the second input unit according to the output of the DC / AC converter so as to distribute more power to the higher efficiency transformer. Control the input adjuster.
If comprised as mentioned above, more electric power will be borne by the transformer with higher efficiency among the 1st and 2nd transformers, and reduction of the loss which arises in a transformer device can be aimed at.
In a preferred aspect of the present invention, an interconnection protection device is provided between the transformer device and the distribution system to perform a protection operation necessary to link the photovoltaic power generation facility with the distribution system. This interconnection protection device includes a switch for turning on and off a circuit between the first transformer and the second transformer and the power distribution system. In addition to the protection operation, the DC / AC conversion unit is loaded. The switch is opened when an output capable of driving the switch is not generated, and the switch is closed when the DC / AC converter generates an output capable of driving the load.
The switch may be a circuit breaker having a function of interrupting an accident current, or a switch having a function of switching a load current, such as a load switch. Moreover, the switch provided separately from the circuit breaker and connected in series to the circuit breaker may be used.
When configured as described above, when the photovoltaic power generation unit stops generating power, a voltage is applied from the distribution system to the secondary side of the transformer to prevent unnecessary excitation loss from occurring in the transformer. Therefore, the loss generated in the transformer can be further reduced.
In another aspect of the present invention, the interconnection protection device includes a first switch that turns on and off a circuit between the first transformer and the power distribution system, and a circuit between the second transformer and the power distribution system. And a second switch for turning on and off. In this case, the interconnection protection device turns off the first switch while the input distribution control unit sets the input to the first transformer to zero, and the input distribution control unit inputs to the second transformer. The second switch is configured to be in an OFF state while is set to zero.
With this configuration, when the input to one of the first and second transformers is zeroed, the transformer with the zeroed input is from the other transformer side, or It is possible to prevent loss due to excitation from the distribution system side.
As described above, according to the present invention, the first transformer and the second transformer are provided in the transformer device provided between the DC / AC conversion unit that converts the DC output of the photovoltaic power generation unit into AC power and the distribution system. A transformer, and when the output of the DC / AC converter exceeds the set value, the output of the DC / AC converter is maintained so as to keep the efficiency of the first and second transformers at or above the set value. Since the input distribution control unit that controls the distribution of the input to the first and second transformers is provided, the DC / AC conversion unit that can operate the entire transformer device with the efficiency within the set range. The lower limit of the output of the transformer can be greatly reduced compared to the conventional interconnection device that constitutes the transformer device by one transformer, and the time for which the transformer device is operated in a low efficiency state can be reduced. It can be shorter than before to improve the efficiency of transformer equipment throughout the year. That.

The solar power generation unit 1 is composed of an array of solar panels (solar cells), and generates DC power when receiving sunlight. In general, the output of the photovoltaic power generation unit is a quadratic function of the sunshine intensity [kW / m 2 ], but the curve that gives the relationship between the output and the sunshine intensity is almost a straight line. It can be considered that the output is almost proportional to the sunshine intensity.

Generally, a solar panel has a characteristic that the output voltage decreases as the load current increases, and the output power vs. load current characteristic of the photovoltaic power generation unit peaks as the output power increases as the load current increases. It has a mountain-shaped characteristic that turns to decrease after reaching. Therefore, in the DC /
The input distribution control unit 2B controls the DC / AC so as to keep the efficiency of the
In this embodiment, the input adjustment unit 2B1 is provided so as to adjust the power input to the
The input adjustment unit 2B1 may be anything as long as it can adjust the magnitude of the input to the transformer. In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. The input adjustment unit 2B1 is configured by an AC switch circuit composed of control rectifier elements (thyristors) Q1 and Q2. By controlling the phase at which the control rectifier elements Q1 and Q2 are turned on, the DC /
When the input adjustment unit 2B1 is configured by an AC switch circuit, the switch circuit reverses a switch element that can be turned on and off, such as a MOSFET or IGBT (a switch element that is turned on only while a drive signal is applied). It may consist of a circuit configured by parallel connection. When a switch circuit composed of these switch elements is used as the input adjustment unit 2B1, a PWM signal having a pulse waveform with a duty ratio varying from 0 to 100% is used as a drive signal at the gate of the switch element constituting the switch circuit. By giving and PWM controlling the switch element, the input to the transformer can be adjusted in the range of 0 to 100%.
The interconnection protection device 5 is a device that performs a protection operation necessary to link the photovoltaic power generation facility to the distribution system 3, and usually includes a switch that opens and closes a circuit between the
In the present embodiment, the switch is opened when the output of the DC /
Referring to FIG. 5, an example of the characteristics (efficiency versus load factor characteristics) of the
Here, as an example, the maximum output of the DC /
Thus, the rated capacities of the first and second transformers, the set output of the DC / AC converter, the set efficiency of the first and second transformers (the lower limit value of the target efficiency range), When the load factor m is 35% or more, the
In this case, for example, when the output of the DC /
That is, when the output of the DC /
In the conventional grid interconnection device, the
FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the present invention. In the present embodiment, the input distribution control unit 2B includes the first input adjustment unit 2B11 that adjusts the power input from the DC /
As described above, when the input adjustment units 2B11 and 2B12 are provided for the
That is, when the output of the DC /
Further, when the output of the DC /
That is, when the output of the DC /
When the output of the DC /
In the range where the output of the DC /
In this example, the region where the output of the DC /
As described above, the input distribution control unit 2B includes the first input adjustment unit 2B11 that adjusts the power input from the DC /
In this case, the input control unit 2B3 is, for example, a three-dimensional map that gives a relationship between the output of the DC /
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the switch provided in the interconnection protection device 5 is provided in common to the
