Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a contact probe (probe unit), and more particularly to a structure that realizes a stable contact resistance value.
As the structure of a conventional contact probe, the following structure is known.
As shown in FIG. 7, the
As shown in FIG. 8A, the
As shown in FIG. 8B, at the time of measurement, the
However, in the
In particular, since one end of the
In addition, with the recent high integration of semiconductor devices, a large number of
Further, the
The present invention has been made in view of the circumstances described above, and the present invention includes a first plunger of a conductive cylindrical body having one end side serving as a first contact and the other end side serving as an open end, and one end. A second plunger that is a second contact, and at least a part of the other end is disposed in the first plunger and is movable in the axial direction of the first plunger, and one end The side is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the first plunger, the other end side is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the second plunger, and the first and second plungers are urged in the axial direction to expand and contract. And a second spring disposed in the first plunger and extending and contracting in the axial direction, one end side being disconnected from the second spring, and the other end side being the first spring. In the first plunger so as to face the second plunger. And having a third plunger conductivity is disposed.
In this invention, a play body plunger and a coil spring are arrange | positioned in the plunger of a cylindrical housing | casing, and the conduction | electrical_connection path | route at the time of a measurement is formed. Since the play body plunger moves in the hollow portion of the plunger in a non-fixed state, duplication of the sliding region is reduced, and a low contact resistance value is maintained.
In the present invention, the movement of the play body plunger is hardly restricted by the coil spring, and the contact area with other plungers is likely to increase due to the movement of the play body plunger.
Moreover, in this invention, an external shape is formed with the plunger of a cylindrical housing | casing, and the coil spring fixed to the outer peripheral surface. With this structure, the moving distance of the play body plunger inside the cylindrical housing is shortened, and the occurrence of scratches such as metal peeling on the sliding surface and metal debris can be greatly reduced.
In the present invention, the coil spring is used as a part of the outer shape, and the contact probe is bent in the area of the coil spring and hardly bent in the area of the plunger. And it becomes easy to contact between each plunger stably, and it becomes easy to increase a contact area. In addition, a phenomenon called “instantaneous interruption” that is likely to occur in the housing frame structure can be suppressed.
Further, in the present invention, since the coil spring as a part of the outer diameter is not disposed inside the housing, the wire diameter can be selected according to the load load of the measuring apparatus, and the contact probe can be downsized.
Moreover, in this invention, the material can be freely selected by not using the coil spring arrange | positioned in a plunger as a conductive path. And the elastic coefficient of a coil spring can be adjusted with materials other than a wire diameter, and it becomes easy to ensure the desired contact pressure to a play body plunger.
A contact probe according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described below. FIG. 1 is a side view of a contact probe according to an embodiment of the present invention. 2A to 2C are cross-sectional views of the contact probe shown in FIG. 1 in the AA line direction, and FIG. 2A shows a state of the contact probe before applying a load. FIG. 2B and FIG. 2C show the state of the contact probe after applying a load. FIG. 3A is a cross-sectional view for explaining each plunger, and FIG. 3B is a cross-sectional view for explaining a contact state and a conductive path of each plunger. 4A to 4D are diagrams for explaining the results of the durability test of the contact probe. 5A to 5D are diagrams for explaining the results of the durability test of the contact probe. FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram for explaining a measurement situation using a contact probe.
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The
Note that the shape of the
The
As with the
The
And the
The
FIG. 2A shows a situation in which, for example, the
First, the
The outer diameter φ3 of the
Further, since the
Since the
One end side of the
Next, as shown in the figure, the
Since the
The
2 (B) and 2 (C) show a situation in which a load is applied to the
As shown in FIG. 2B, the opening
At this time, the
The distance D2 is set to 0.4 mm, for example, as the stroke distance of the
As shown in FIG. 2 (C), when the
At this time, since the
As a result, the
As described above, the
In FIG. 3 (A), for the convenience of explanation, the
As shown in the figure, the angle α of the acute-shaped tip section of the
As described above with reference to FIG. 2A, at the time of measurement, the
Due to this structure, there is a high possibility that the inner peripheral surface of the
Furthermore, when the
As a result, it is possible to greatly reduce the repetition of sliding operation in a fixed area between the
The state shown in FIG. 3B shows a state in which the
Next, when the load from the measuring device is applied to the
In this state, the
In particular, in a state where the opening
As a result, the above-described two
Further, the

As the values at 500,000 times shown in FIG. 5C, the respective contact resistance values were in the range of 15 to 50 mΩ, and the respective contact loads were in the range of 100 to 125 gf. As the value at 700,000 times shown in FIG. 5D, nine contact resistance values were in the range of 30 to 50 mΩ, but one (fourth) contact resistance value was 65 mΩ, The contact load was in the range of 105 to 125 gf.
As described above, the
As shown in FIG. 6, in the
As described above with reference to FIG. 1, the wire diameter of the
Further, the surface of the
