Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an electric brake device in which a disc brake is electrified.

However, in the above method, it is necessary to continue to drive the motor to the motor for a certain period of time after the system is stopped. For this reason, there is a problem that the electricity cost is deteriorated due to the loss in the meantime.
In addition, there is a possibility that the power consumption during that time may be hindered, which may hinder the next engine start-up and start-up of in-vehicle equipment.
At this time, it may be possible to install a battery dedicated to the electric brake device, but there is a disadvantage in terms of cost and occupied space.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to prevent excessive retraction of the friction pad without consuming electric power when the system is stopped with the brake operated.
In order to solve the above problems, in the present invention, in the electric brake device having a linear motion mechanism that converts the rotational motion of the electric motor into linear motion and presses the friction pad against the brake rotor, when stopping the brake device, After stopping energization of the motor, a configuration was adopted in which the field winding of the motor is short-circuited.
By adopting such a configuration, for example, when the motor is in a braking state in which the friction pad is pressed against the brake rotor, or in the braking state in which the motor holds the friction pad in the standby position, the system is terminated. When the brake system is stopped by a command request such as the above and the energization to the motor is stopped, the rotor of the motor connected to the linear motion mechanism tries to continue to rotate due to the residual torque. At this time, the magnetic field winding of the motor is short-circuited (short-circuited) to form a closed circuit, so that the magnetic flux (rotor magnet or rotor of the rotor) that rotates into the closed-circuit field winding is reduced. In the case of an induction coil, magnetic flux) due to residual magnetism is linked. Then, an induced current is generated in the field winding due to a change in interlinkage magnetic flux, and a torque (power generation) that prevents the rotor from rotating due to the interaction between the magnetic field generated by the generated current and the magnetic flux of the rotor. Torque). As a result, the torque acts as a brake, and the friction pad can be stopped without consuming electric power.
At this time, the number of field windings to be short-circuited is one for a single-phase one such as a universal motor, but for example, a closed circuit is formed by short-circuiting two or more for a three-phase one described in the embodiment. The In other words, regardless of the motor structure, the friction pad can be stopped without consuming electric power by short-circuiting the field winding so as to form a closed circuit.
Further, at this time, it is possible to employ a configuration provided with a current adjusting means for limiting the current when the field winding is short-circuited.
By adopting such a configuration, the resistance force (torque) that prevents the rotation of the rotor is adjusted by limiting the induced current flowing in the field winding. In this way, the distance at which the friction pad stops can be changed, so that the stop position of the friction pad can be adjusted.
At that time, it is possible to adopt a configuration provided with switching means for switching the number of short-circuits of the field coils, assuming that the field winding is connected to a plurality of field coils.
By adopting such a configuration, the torque that hinders the rotation of the rotor is adjusted by switching the number of field coils of the field winding to be short-circuited. In this way, the distance at which the friction pad stops can be changed, so that the stop position of the friction pad can be adjusted.
Further, at this time, it is possible to employ a configuration provided with PWM control means for adjusting the duty ratio of current on and off at the time of the short circuit.
By adopting such a configuration, the short-circuit current is controlled by changing the duty ratio between on and off, and the torque that hinders the rotation of the rotor is adjusted. In this way, the distance at which the friction pad stops can be changed, so that the stop position of the friction pad can be adjusted.
At this time, it is provided with a movement amount detecting means for detecting the position or displacement of the linear motion mechanism or the friction pad, and when stopping the electric brake device, the movement amount detecting means detects a value greater than or equal to a certain value, or A configuration may be adopted in which the brake device is stopped when a differential value of a value detected by the movement amount detection means is detected to be a value equal to or less than a predetermined value.
By adopting such a configuration, the friction pad is considered to have stopped if the value detected by the movement amount detection means is a movement amount greater than or equal to a certain value commensurate with braking by torque that hinders the rotation of the previous rotor. be able to. Therefore, when the detected value reaches a certain value or more, for example, the brake system can be shut down without any trouble. In addition, when using a derivative of the detected value, the friction pad can be regarded as stopped if the rate of change of the derivative is a certain value or less, so if the value is a certain value or less, the same In addition, the brake system can be shut down without problems.
Further, at this time, instead of the movement amount detection means, a load detection means for detecting a load applied to the friction pad is provided, and a detection value of the load detection means or a differential value of the detection value is adopted. Can do.
By adopting such a configuration, for example, the reference value and the detection value of the load detection means are compared with reference to the detection value of the load detection means when the friction pad is pressed against the brake rotor. Then, if the difference is equal to or greater than a certain value commensurate with braking by torque that hinders the rotation of the previous rotor, it can be considered that the friction pad has moved and stopped due to a decrease in pressure on the friction pad. Therefore, if the detected value is equal to or greater than a certain value, the brake system can be shut down without any trouble. Further, when detecting the differential value of the detection value of the load detecting means, it can be considered that the friction pad has stopped when the rate of change of the differential becomes a certain value or less. Since it can be considered in this way, when the value becomes a certain value or less, the brake system can be shut down without any trouble as described above.
At this time, it is possible to employ a configuration in which a short circuit and / or a short circuit current of the field winding of the motor is controlled based on a predetermined operation sequence in accordance with the detection value of the detection means.
By adopting such a configuration, an operation for controlling the short circuit of the field winding and / or the short circuit current is set in advance according to the detection output of the detection means. By doing so, it is difficult to cause malfunctions due to disturbances such as noise, so that safety is improved and an error reaching the stop position can be reduced.
With this configuration, the friction pad is excessively retracted without consuming electric power by using the generated power when the motor's field coil is short-circuited as a torque that inhibits reverse rotation. Can be prevented.

On the other hand, if the brake system is stopped by a command request such as system termination while the
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6A, the
If braking is applied at this time, but braking is too strong to stop at the predetermined standby position, for example, energization is stopped before the standby position, and FIGS. 6 (b), 6 (c), (c) As in any of (d), the switching means T4 to T6 are used as the switching means to switch the number of short-circuits of the field coils U, V, W and reduce the number of field coils U, V, W to be short-circuited. If the braking timing and the braking force are adjusted, it can be stopped at a predetermined standby position.
In addition, even when the system is operating such that the holding current is input to the motor and the friction pad is held at the standby position (pad clearance: a predetermined gap with the brake rotor), the brake system stops when a command is issued such as when the system is terminated. When the energization of the electric motor is interrupted, the
Therefore, the
The first embodiment describes that the present application can be applied to, for example, an electric brake device that employs a fail-open mechanism using a
That is, when the brake system is stopped by a command such as a system termination request during the operation of the brake, in FIG. 9, the
Accordingly, the
In the second embodiment, when the energization to the
That is, at the same time as the energization of the
By doing so, the braking force is controlled (PWM control). At that time, all of the switch means T4 to T6 used for the PWM control may be used, but may be a part of the switch means T4 to T6 depending on the required braking strength. In other words, the number of field coils U, V, and W that are turned on and off to serve as the “switching means” may be reduced.
Here, as described above, the induced current flowing by the PWM control generates torque in a direction that prevents the rotation of the rotor of the
Therefore, for example, if a rotation sensor or a position sensor is arranged to detect the rotation speed (or acceleration) of the rotor or the movement speed (or acceleration) of the
In the third embodiment, the position movement amount detection means 48 for detecting the position or displacement of the
The movement amount detecting means (sensor) 48 is, for example, an optical displacement sensor, a magnetic scale (magnetic scale + magnetic encoder) device, and a displacement (position) sensor such as a differential transformer arranged as shown by a broken line in FIG. Then, the position or displacement of the

Therefore, when it is detected that the detected value is equal to or greater than a certain value, for example, the ECU (control means) 11 can perform the shirt and down of the brake system without any trouble.
Further, if a derivative of the detected value is used, the
In the fourth embodiment, the
That is, the
As shown in FIG. 3, the
As described above, the bearing
As a result, when the
For this reason, for example, with reference to the detection value of the
That is, it can be seen from the decrease in the pressure on the
Therefore, when the detected value becomes equal to or greater than a certain value, the ECU (control means) 11 can perform a shutdown of the brake system without any trouble.
Further, when the differential value of the detection value of the
In addition, although it is thought that said control is possible by providing either the movement amount detection means 48 or the load detection means 50, in order to improve a precision more, for example, both means 48 and 50 are provided. Thus, it is considered preferable to make a determination based on the outputs of both means 48 and 50 because a reliable determination can be made and safety can be improved.
In the fifth embodiment, the number of short circuits or the value of the short circuit current of the coils U, V, W of the field winding is controlled in sequence according to the detection output of the moving amount detecting means 48 or the
For example, as shown in the input / output characteristics of FIG. 8, the number of short circuits of the switch means T4 to T6 is changed based on the detection value of the movement amount detection means 48. At this time, the number of short circuits of the switch means T4 to T6 and the timing thereof with respect to the detection value are set in advance by optimization according to the detection output as shown in FIG. By doing so, it is difficult to cause malfunctions due to disturbances such as noise, thereby improving safety and reducing the error reaching the standby position.
Similarly, the error reaching the standby position can be reduced by adjusting the short-circuit current based on the detected value.
Furthermore, an error can be made smaller by adjusting the short circuit number and short circuit current of switch means T4-T6 based on a detection value.
Further, in FIG. 8, the case where the output of the movement
