Description

The present invention relates to a grommet having a panel fitting part and an exterior cylinder part.

For example, when inserting a wire harness into a through hole formed in a vehicle panel, a grommet is used to prevent contact between the through hole and the wire harness, and further to prevent moisture from entering the vehicle panel. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1 below). Hereinafter, the configuration and structure of a conventional grommet will be described.

In FIG. 6, one grommet and one grommet are known. First, the grommet 101 of one object as shown in FIG. 6A will be described. The grommet 101 is a molded product of rubber, and one end is attached to the vehicle panel 102 of the automobile, and the other end opens and closes. It is attached to a rear door (not shown). The grommet 101 is provided to cover the wire harness 103 routed across the vehicle panel 102 and the rear door. The grommet 101 includes a panel fitting portion 104 and an exterior cylinder portion 105 continuous with the panel fitting portion 104.

The panel fitting portion 104 is formed as a portion that fits the vehicle panel 102 in a watertight manner. On the other hand, the exterior cylinder part 105 is formed as a part which covers and covers the wire harness 103. In such an outer tube portion 105, a bent tube portion 106 that is continuous with the panel fitting portion 104 in a bent state as illustrated is formed. A bellows tube portion 107 is also formed so as to be continuous with the bent tube portion 106.

According to the technology disclosed in Patent Document 1 below, a plurality of ribs 108 are formed on the outer surface of the bent tube portion 106. The rib 108 is disposed and formed in the vicinity of the boundary portion with the bellows tube portion 107. The rib 108 is formed so as to protrude in an annular shape.

Next, a two-object grommet 121 as shown in FIG. 6B includes a resin inner member 122 and a rubber outer member 123 attached to the outside of the inner member 122. The inner member 122 has a locking portion 125 that is locked to the vehicle panel 124 of the automobile, and is attached to the inside of the panel fitting portion 126 of the outer member 123. The outer member 123 includes the panel fitting portion 126 and an exterior cylinder portion 127 that is continuous with the panel fitting portion 126.

The exterior cylinder part 127 is formed with a bent cylinder part 128 that continues in a bent state with respect to the panel fitting part 126 as shown in the figure, and a bellows cylinder part 129 that continues to the bent cylinder part 128.

According to the technology disclosed in Patent Document 1 below, a plurality of ribs 130 are formed on the inner surface of the bent tube portion 128. The rib 130 includes a ring-shaped portion and a portion extending along the tube axis. The annular portion is arranged and formed in the vicinity of the boundary portion with the bellows tube portion 129, in the vicinity of the boundary portion with the panel fitting portion 126, and in the middle portion thereof.

Patent Document 1 below also discloses an example in which a single rib extending along the tube axis is added to the bellows tube portion.

In the conventional grommets 101 and 121, a plurality of ribs 108 and 130 are formed in the bent tube portions 106 and 128. This is to prevent buckling of the bent tubular portions 106 and 128 when the rear door of the automobile opens and closes.

However, even if the plurality of ribs 108 and 130 are formed in this manner to prevent buckling, the operation of fitting the panel fitting portions 104 and 126 to the vehicle panels 102 and 124 is performed when the wire harness 103 is routed in the vehicle. Then, since an external force such as pulling is applied to the grommets 101 and 121, there is a possibility that the bent tube portions 106 and 128 may be deformed (fallen or tilted). If deformation occurs, the angle during molding cannot be maintained, so that the grommets 101 and 121 are sandwiched between the rear doors.

In addition, if the deformation is likely to occur, the bent tube portions 106, 128, etc. will interfere with the through-holes when pulling from the indoor side to the outdoor side through the through-holes of the vehicle panels 102, 124. For this reason, there is also a problem that workability and routing are deteriorated.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and can prevent an unnecessary deformation and ensure an angle and a direction. Also, the unnecessary deformation can be suppressed and workability and routing can be prevented from being deteriorated. It is an object to provide a grommet capable of achieving the above.

The present invention according to claim 1, which has been made to solve the above-described problems, includes a panel fitting portion that fits water tightly with respect to a vehicle panel, and an exterior tube portion that covers a wire harness that penetrates the vehicle panel. In the grommet, the exterior tube portion includes a bent tube portion that is continuous with the panel fitting portion in a bent state, and a bellows tube portion that is continuous with the bend tube portion, and the bellows tube portion includes the panel. A wall-like plate rib extending toward the fitting portion and integrated with the panel fitting portion is provided, and a thin portion is formed on the plate rib.

According to the present invention having such a feature, when the panel fitting portion is watertightly fitted to the vehicle panel, the panel fitting portion is not moved by the fitting. Moreover, the exterior cylinder part is connected to the panel fitting part in a non-moving state by wall-shaped plate ribs. Therefore, according to the present invention, since the exterior cylinder portion is supported by the plate rib, unnecessary deformation can be suppressed even if an external force is applied to the exterior cylinder portion, for example. If unnecessary deformation of the outer tube portion can be suppressed, the angle and direction of the outer tube portion can be secured, and problems such as interference can be prevented. Moreover, if the grommet of this invention is attached to the part with a rear door, the malfunction of being pinched can also be prevented.

Further, according to the present invention, since the plate rib is provided in the bellows tube portion, the stress concentration in the bent tube portion and the stress concentration in the continuous portion between the bent tube portion and the panel fitting portion can be suppressed. Thus, durability can be improved. Furthermore, according to the present invention, since the thin portion is formed in the plate rib, the plate rib is not a simple wall-shaped plate rib but allows bending as needed while suppressing unnecessary deformation of the exterior tube portion. Can be. Therefore, since there is consideration of such a shape, it is possible to prevent deterioration in workability and routing. In addition, according to the present invention, since it is a wall-shaped plate rib, it is possible to improve not only a complicated shape but also moldability.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the grommet according to the first aspect, the plate rib is integrated with a part of a plurality of peak portions and valley portions formed in the bellows cylinder portion. And

According to the present invention having such a feature, the wall-like plate rib is integrated into a part of the plurality of crests and troughs formed in the bellows-like cylinder part, so that the function of the bellows cylinder part is achieved. Unnecessary deformation of the exterior cylinder portion can be suppressed while ensuring. Further, according to the present invention, since the plate rib is integrated with the part, it is possible to give stretchability (or extensibility) to the peak portion and the valley portion located on the opposite side of the integrated portion. . If stretchability (extensibility) can be provided, this portion can also function as a stress absorbing portion.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, since the wall-shaped plate rib is provided to connect the exterior tube portion and the panel fitting portion to support the exterior tube portion, for example, an external force is applied. However, the effect that the unnecessary deformation | transformation of an exterior cylinder part can be suppressed is produced. In addition, according to the present invention, since the wall-shaped plate rib is formed so as to have a thin-walled portion, it is possible to allow bending as needed while suppressing unnecessary deformation of the exterior tube portion. Play. Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to ensure the angle and direction of the exterior tube portion, and thus prevent the problem of interference and pinching, and the deterioration of workability and routing. There is an effect that can be.

According to the present invention described in claim 2, in addition to the effect described in claim 1, the following effect is also achieved. That is, the present invention is a grommet provided with a wall-like plate rib so as to extend from the bellows tube portion, but even if such a plate rib is provided, the arrangement of the bellows tube portion is taken into consideration. The effect that it can ensure and the effect that a function as a stress absorption part can be given to a bellows cylinder part are produced.

The grommet is made of rubber or elastomer, and includes a panel fitting portion that fits watertight to the vehicle panel, an exterior cylinder portion having a bent cylinder portion and a bellows cylinder portion, and wall-like plate ribs. The The plate rib is formed so as to extend from the outer tube portion toward the panel fitting portion, to be integrated with the panel fitting portion, and to have a thin portion. Since the grommet has a thin portion on the plate rib, the grommet can allow bending as needed while suppressing unnecessary deformation of the exterior tube portion.

Embodiment 1 will be described below with reference to the drawings. When the inner member 2 is attached to the inner side of the outer member 3, the upper wall 8 is in a state in which the rigidity is added.

The exterior cylinder part 6 is a cylindrical part which covers the outer side of a wire harness, and is formed in the length considered the opening / closing movement of the rear door. Moreover, since the outer member 3 is made of rubber (or made of elastomer), the outer cylinder portion 6 is also formed in a shape that can follow the opening and closing movement of the rear door. The exterior cylinder part 6 has flexibility, and a bent cylinder part 9, a bellows cylinder part 10, and a straight cylinder part 11 are formed on the panel fitting part 5 side of the exterior cylinder part 6 as described above.

The bent tube portion 9 is formed (molded) so as to be continuous with the panel fitting portion 5 in a bent state. Specifically, it is formed in a state in which one end of the bent tube portion 9 is continuous with the edge portion of the harness insertion hole of the panel fitting portion 5 and the other end is bent so as to face the direction intersecting the vertical axis of the upper wall 8. Is done. The angle θ and the direction D of the outer tube portion 6 are determined by the bent state of the bent tube portion 9.

The bellows tube portion 10 is a bent portion in the outer tube portion 6 and is formed in a known bellows tube shape having a plurality of peaks 12 and valleys 13. The bellows tube portion 10 is formed so that one end thereof is continuous with the other end of the bent tube portion 9 and extends straight at a predetermined length (the bellows tube portion 10 is formed of the mountain portion 12 in this embodiment. It is formed in a length of seven).

The straight tube portion 11 is a straight tube portion of the exterior tube portion 6, and one end of the straight tube portion 11 is continuous with the other end of the bellows tube portion 10, and is formed to extend straight at a predetermined length. The other end of the straight tube portion 11 is formed so as to be continuous with the bellows tube portion on the rear door side or directly with respect to the panel fitting portion on the rear door side. The straight tube portion 11 may be replaced with the bellows tube portion 10 without providing the straight tube portion 11.

The plate rib 7 is a part that suppresses unnecessary deformation of the exterior cylinder part 6 and secures the angle θ and the direction D, and extends from the bellows cylinder part 10 to the upper wall 8 of the panel fitting part 5 to be integrated. In addition, the outer cylinder portion 6 is formed so as to be supported. Specifically, it is formed into a wall-like rib shape that extends slightly inclining with respect to the vertical axis of the upper wall 8 (the illustrated shape is an example).

In this embodiment, the plate rib 7 is integrated with the fourth of the seven peaks 12, that is, the middle peak 12, and is also integrated with the valley 13 in the vicinity of the middle peak 12. To be formed. Since the plate rib 7 continues to the bellows tube portion 10 at the above position, the function of the bellows tube portion 10 is not impaired even if the plate rib 7 continues. The reason is that the bellows extension 14 is formed on the opposite side of the integrated portion of the plate rib 7 and the bellows bending part 15 is formed on the straight tube 11 side of the bellows extension 14 (see FIG. 3).

The bellows extension 14 is formed such that the distance between the peaks 12 extends with respect to the bending of the exterior cylinder 6 (for example, bending associated with the opening and closing movement of the rear door, see the two-dot chain line in FIG. 3). Further, the bellows bending portion 15 is formed so as to expand and contract in accordance with the bending of the outer tube portion 6 to be in a predetermined bending state. Since the space | interval of the peak part 12 extends, the bellows extension part 14 can also be made to function as a stress absorption part.

By providing the plate rib 7 as described above, an effect that the angle θ and the direction D can be secured while suppressing unnecessary deformation (falling or bending at the bent tube portion 9) of the exterior tube portion 6 is achieved. . If the angle θ and the direction D can be secured, it is possible to prevent problems such as interference with the vehicle and being caught between the rear doors.

Further, by providing the plate rib 7, it is possible to suppress the stress concentration at the bent tube portion 9 and the stress concentration at the continuous portion between the bent tube portion 9 and the panel fitting portion 5. Furthermore, if the stress concentration can be suppressed, there is an effect that the durability can be improved.

In addition, by providing the plate rib 7, there is an effect that the outer tube portion 6 can be prevented from being broken.

In the case where the plate rib 7 is not provided, there is a possibility that the bent tube portion 202 may fall down or bend like a grommet 201 shown as a comparative example in FIG. That is, since the angle θ and the direction D (see FIG. 2) cannot be secured, there is a concern that the vehicle may interfere with the vehicle or be pinched by the rear door.

In FIG. 1 thru | or FIG. 3, the plate rib 7 is formed so that this may bend itself as needed. Therefore, the thin portion 16 is formed on the plate rib 7. The thin part 16 is formed as a further characteristic part of the plate rib 7.

The thin portion 16 is formed as a bent portion when the plate rib 7 is bent. The thin portion 16 is formed so as to be recessed at a predetermined position of the outer surface 17 of the plate rib 7, and the recess is formed so as to extend in a direction perpendicular to the vertical axis of the upper wall 8. Since the plate rib 7 is formed so as to have the thin-walled portion 16, there is an effect that bending can be allowed as needed while suppressing unnecessary deformation of the outer tube portion 6. If bending can be permitted as necessary, the workability and routing can be improved.

Embodiment 2 will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 5 is a side view of another example grommet. Note that the same components as those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof is omitted.

In FIG. 5, the grommet 1 of the second embodiment is different from the grommet 1 of the first embodiment only in the formation position of the thin portion 16. In Example 2, it is arranged and formed on the inner surface 18 of the plate rib 7. The thin portion 16 is formed so as to dent a predetermined position of the inner surface 18. The recess is formed so as to extend in a direction perpendicular to the vertical axis of the upper wall 8 as in the first embodiment.

The grommet 1 of the second embodiment has the same effects as the first embodiment because only the formation position of the thin portion 16 is different.

In addition, the present invention can of course be modified in various ways within the scope not changing the gist of the present invention.
