A game system according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is a diagram schematically showing a game machine to which a game system according to one embodiment of the present invention is applied. As shown in FIG. 1, the
FIG. 2 is a functional block diagram of the
An
The
The
The
Next, an outline of a music game executed on the
At the start of the game, the second object O2 is displayed on the
In this game, when one object O collides with the other object O as shown in FIG. 4, an appropriate operation time is set. This operation time is preset according to the music and is described in the
As shown in FIG. 4, when the first object O1 collides with the second object O2, this time, the first object O1 stops at the standby position as if the kinetic energy of the first object O1 was transmitted to the second object O2. . On the other hand, the second object O2 starts to move counterclockwise on the
On the other hand, when the shift time at the time of the touch operation is out of the allowable range, the second object O2 may be referred to as a position having an angle θ2 larger than the angle θ1 from the standby position (hereinafter referred to as a second position) as shown in FIG. .) Move counterclockwise on
After the movement to the first position P1 or the second position P2, the second object O2 moves clockwise on the
Next, the
As shown in this figure, the
The object ID is information for managing the order in which each object O is moved. The object ID is also used for managing each record included in the
The movement start time is information corresponding to the time when the movement of the object O should be started. On the other hand, the arrival time is information corresponding to the time at which the object O generated in the game screen GS should reach the operation instruction position. Therefore, the arrival time also functions as an operation time when an appropriate operation is performed in the music. The movement start time and arrival time are described by separating the value of the bar number, the number of beats, and the time in the beat with a comma. The time during a beat is the elapsed time from the beginning of one beat. The time during a beat is expressed by, for example, the number of units from the beginning of the beat when the time length of one beat is equally divided into n unit times. For example, when n = 100, the second beat of the first measure of the music and a time that has passed by ¼ from the beginning of the beat is designated as the operation time (arrival time), “01, 2, 025 ".
In the example of FIG. 8, the first object O1 starts to move at the start time (000) of the first beat of the first bar, moves on the
Next, processing of the
When the game start is instructed, the
FIG. 9 shows an example of a flowchart of a sequence processing routine executed by the
In the next step S13, the
On the other hand, if it is determined that the game is not started, the process proceeds to step S22, and the
On the other hand, if an affirmative determination is made in step S22, that is, if it is determined that it is the movement start time of any object O and the movement angle θ has not yet been set, the process proceeds to step S23, where the sequence processing is performed. The
In the next step S26, the
If a negative determination is made in step S23, or if a negative determination is made in step S26, the process proceeds to step S29, and the
Returning to FIG. 9, the description of the sequence processing routine will be continued. After setting the movement angle θ, the
In the next step S15, the
As described above, according to the present invention, the movement angle θ changes according to the evaluation of the operation of the player P. As apparent from FIGS. 5 and 6, this movement angle θ is a distance (movement distance) by which the object O moves. Since the movement start time and arrival time (operation time) of the object O are set in advance as described above, the movement speed of the object O changes when the movement angle θ changes and the movement distance changes. Therefore, according to the game system of the present invention, the moving distance and moving speed of the object O can be changed according to the evaluation of the operation of the player P. Therefore, the movement of the object O can be changed in various ways, thereby improving the game performance.
In the present invention, the position where the object O of the two objects O collides with the stopped object O is the operation instruction position. Therefore, for example, the operation instruction position can be changed every time by changing the standby position where the object O stops according to the evaluation of the operation of the player P. However, even in this case, the moving speed of the moving object O is appropriately adjusted so that the time when one object O collides with the other object O is the operation time set in advance based on the music. The In this way, by changing the standby position of the object O, the movement of the object O can be changed in various ways, thereby further improving the game performance. Further, the moving angle θ of the object O can be easily changed by changing the standby position in this way.
In this embodiment, the method of setting the movement angle θ when the shift time is outside the allowable range is not limited to the method described above. For example, when the shift time is outside the allowable range, an angle smaller than the angle set when the shift time is within the allowable range may be set as the movement angle θ. Thus, since the difficulty of a game can be lowered by reducing the movement angle θ, even a beginner can easily play the game.
Further, the method for setting the moving speed when moving the object O to the miss angle θ2 shown in FIG. 6 is not limited to the method described above. For example, the moving speed from the standby position to the second position P2 is set to a speed that should be set when the deviation time is within the allowable range, and the movement from the second position P2 to the position that collides with the first object O1. Only the speed may be increased. However, also in this case, when the second object O2 moves to the operation instruction position by the operation time and moves from the standby position to the second position P2, the second object O2 is decelerated and temporarily stops at the second position P2, and then The moving speed of the second object O2 is set so as to accelerate from the second position P2 to the operation instruction position. In this case, since the speed of the second object O2 at the operation instruction position further increases, the difficulty level of the game can be increased.
When the shift time is out of the allowable range, in addition to the change of the movement angle θ, the time when the plurality of objects O2a to O2d reach the operation instruction position may be displayed as shifted as shown in FIG. In this case, the time when each of the four objects O2a to O2d reaches the operation instruction position is set as the time when the player U is requested to perform the touch operation. However, the first object O1 does not move until the last object O2a reaches the operation instruction position. When the last object O2a reaches the operation instruction position, the first object O1 starts to move. Further, the moving angle θ of the first object O1 is set based on the evaluation of the touch operation of the player P when the last object O2a reaches the operation instruction position. Note that the same value may be set as the movement angle θ of the plurality of objects O2a to O2d, or different values may be set. When the same value is set, the movement start timings of the plurality of objects O2a to O2d are shifted from each other, and thereby the timing of reaching the operation instruction position is shifted from each other. By displaying the plurality of objects O2a to O2d in this way, the movement of the object O can be further variously changed. Therefore, the game performance can be further improved.
Further, the upper limit of the movement angle θ set when the shift time is out of the allowable range is not limited to 180 °. For example, two objects O may collide so that one object O makes a round on the
In the above-described embodiment, the
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and may be implemented in various forms. For example, in the above-described form, a touch panel is used as the input device, but the input device is not limited to such a form. For example, as long as an operation unit such as a controller provided with a push button as an operation unit is provided, input devices having various configurations can be used.
The game system shown in the above-described form is an appropriate form such as an arcade game machine installed in a commercial facility, a home-use game machine, a portable game machine, or a game system realized using a network. May be realized.
In the present invention, the method of indicating the operation time to the player P is not limited to the method of the above-described form. For example, as shown in FIG. 12, the determination line L may be displayed below the game screen GS, and the object O may be moved toward the determination line L from the upper part of the game screen GS. In this case, the operation time is set when the center of the object O reaches the determination line L as indicated by the first object O11 in the drawing. Then, the operation of the player P is evaluated based on the time difference between the operation time and the time when the player P operates the touch panel 4. In this embodiment, the operation time is set in advance according to the music and is described in the
In this form, when the deviation time is within the allowable range, the object O is displayed at a position separated from the determination line L by the distance h1. For example, the second object O12 corresponds to this. Thereafter, the second object O12 moves straight toward the determination line L, that is, downward as shown by the arrow A11 toward the lower side of the game screen GS. On the other hand, when the deviation time is outside the allowable range, the object O is displayed at a position separated from the determination line L by the distance h2 that is farther than the distance h1. For example, the third object O13 indicated by a broken line corresponds to this. The third object O13 starts moving from this position, and then moves straight toward the determination line L as indicated by the arrow A12. However, even in this case, since the operation time is predetermined, the moving speed of the third object O13 is set to a value larger than the moving speed of the second object O12. It should be noted that the position where the third object O13 is displayed, that is, the position where movement is started may be set according to the shift time in the same manner as the movement angle θ in the above-described form. For example, the position where the movement is started may be set so that the distance from the determination line L becomes longer as the deviation time is longer.
When the deviation time is out of the allowable range, the object O may be displayed at a position separated from the determination line L by the distance h1, and the distance of the moving path of the object O thereafter may be changed. For example, the fourth object O14 indicated by a broken line corresponds to this. The fourth object O14 starts moving from this position, and then moves in a zigzag toward the determination line L as indicated by the arrow A13. As a result, the distance of the movement path becomes longer, and therefore, a value larger than the movement speed of the second object O12 is set as the movement speed of the fourth object O14. Note that the movement path of the fourth object O14 may be set according to the shift time, similarly to the movement angle θ of the above-described form. For example, the movement route may be set so that the distance becomes longer as the deviation time becomes larger. Note that the shape of the movement path is not limited to the zigzag shape. The shape may be appropriately set so that the distance that the object O displayed at the position separated from the determination line L by the distance h1 moves to reach the determination line L becomes longer. For example, an arcuate movement path that swells in the left-right direction of the game screen GS may be set.
The factors for changing the movement start position, the movement path distance, the operation instruction position, the movement speed, and the like of the object O described in the above embodiments and the period for changing them are the factors and periods described in the above embodiments. It is not limited. For example, in each of the embodiments described above, when the number of times that the deviation time is outside the allowable range reaches a predetermined number of determinations (for example, 3 times), the movement start position of the object O, the distance of the movement path, and the operation instruction position Alternatively, the moving speed or the like may be changed. The factors for changing these are not limited to the case where the deviation time is outside the allowable range, but when the deviation time is 0, that is, when the operation timing coincides with the timing of the touch operation of the player P. It may be generated as a bonus. In this case, when the player P can appropriately perform the touch operation on the object O whose moving start position, moving path distance, operation instruction position, moving speed, or the like has changed, more points are obtained than usual. You may make it add.
The period for changing the movement start position of the object O, the distance of the movement path, the operation instruction position, the movement speed, or the like is not limited to just after the deviation time is out of the allowable range. For example, after the deviation time is outside the allowable range, the movement start position and movement path of the object O until any object O reaches the operation instruction position reaches a predetermined determination number (for example, 10 times). The distance, the operation instruction position, the moving speed, etc. may be continuously changed.
