Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an organic EL panel manufacturing apparatus and manufacturing method.
An organic EL element (organic electroluminescence element) is easily affected by moisture, and if moisture remains inside during production, a non-light emitting portion called a dark spot is generated. For this reason, in an organic EL element manufactured by forming an anode layer, a light emitting medium layer, and a cathode layer on a substrate in this order, laminating a resin layer on the sealing material, and bonding them together, the sealing material There is a technique in which microwaves and far-infrared rays are simultaneously applied to a resin layer laminated thereon to dry the resin layer (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
However, even if the above technique is used, the removal of moisture may not be sufficient. For example, moisture may be contained in the substrate, resist applied to the anode layer for short circuit prevention, etc. If moisture is contained in these, non-light emitting parts are generated, and the production quality is lowered. End up.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an organic EL panel manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method capable of improving manufacturing quality.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention changes an element substrate from an anode layer formation state in which an anode layer is formed on an element substrate body to an organic layer formation state in which an organic layer is formed on the anode layer, Furthermore, a first line in which a cathode layer is formed by forming a cathode layer on the organic layer, a second line on which a filler is mounted on a sealing substrate body to form a sealing substrate, and the first And a third line for bonding the element substrate in the cathode layer formation state formed by the line and the sealing substrate formed by the second line. In the first line, an element substrate in at least one of the anode layer formation state, the organic layer formation state, and the cathode layer formation state is set as a dry object, and the dry object is microscopic. The first dry that heats by irradiating waves Means, and the second line is provided with second drying means for heating the drying target object by irradiating the target object with microwaves. To do.
Thereby, in the first line, the first drying means irradiates the element substrate in at least one of the anode layer formation state, the organic layer formation state, and the cathode layer formation state with microwaves. This is dried by heating. Also in the second line, the second drying means dries the sealing substrate by irradiating it with microwaves and heating it. Therefore, after the remaining amount of moisture is reduced for both the element substrate and the sealing substrate, they can be bonded together.
Further, in the above invention, at least one of the first drying unit and the second drying unit includes a temperature detection unit that detects the temperature of the drying object from radiant heat of the drying object; It is preferable to include a control unit that controls the intensity of the microwave based on the detection result of the temperature detection unit.
Thereby, a temperature detection part detects the temperature from the radiant heat of a drying target object, and a control part controls the intensity | strength of a microwave based on this detection result. Therefore, a drying target object can be dried appropriately.
In the above invention, when the first drying means irradiates the element substrate in the cathode layer forming state with the microwave as the object to be dried, the element substrate main body from the side opposite to the cathode layer. It is preferable to irradiate microwaves.
Thus, since the microwave is irradiated from the side opposite to the cathode layer of the element substrate body, the element substrate can be irradiated with the microwave while reducing the influence of the cathode layer. Therefore, the drying object can be efficiently dried.
The present invention relates to an organic layer forming step in which an element substrate in an anode layer formation state formed by forming an anode layer on an element substrate body is formed into an organic layer formation state by forming an organic layer on the anode layer, and the organic layer A cathode layer forming step of forming a cathode layer on the organic layer by forming a cathode layer on the organic layer, and a filler mounting step of mounting a filler on the sealing substrate body to form a sealing substrate And an organic EL panel manufacturing method including a bonding step of bonding the element substrate in the cathode layer formation state after the cathode layer formation step and the sealing substrate after the filler mounting step. , Before the organic layer forming step, after the organic layer forming step, and after the cathode layer forming step, the element substrate is set as a drying target, and a microwave is applied to the drying target. 1st drying which heats by irradiating It has a degree, after the filling material mounting step, and having a second drying step of heating using microwave radiation in the the sealing substrate and drying the object the drying object.
Thus, in the first drying step, the anode layer formation state, the organic layer formation state, at the timing of at least one of the organic layer formation step, the organic layer formation step, and the cathode layer formation step. The element substrate in at least one of the cathode layer formation state and the cathode layer formation state is dried by irradiating with microwaves and heating. Further, in the second drying step after the filler mounting step, the sealing substrate is irradiated with microwaves and heated to be dried. Therefore, after the remaining amount of moisture is reduced for both the element substrate and the sealing substrate, they can be bonded together.
In the above invention, in at least one of the first drying step and the second drying step, the temperature of the drying object is detected from the radiant heat of the drying object, and the detection result It is preferable to control the intensity of the microwave based on this.
Thus, since the temperature is detected from the radiant heat of the object to be dried and the intensity of the microwave is controlled based on the detection result, the object to be dried can be appropriately dried.
Moreover, in the said invention, when performing the said 1st drying process after the said cathode layer formation process, it is preferable to irradiate a microwave from the opposite side to the said cathode layer of the said element substrate main body.
Thus, since the microwave is irradiated from the side opposite to the cathode layer of the element substrate body, the element substrate can be irradiated with the microwave while reducing the influence of the cathode layer. Therefore, the drying object can be efficiently dried.

The
In the
The
As shown in FIG. 2, a
In the
As shown in FIG. 2, a
As shown in FIG. 2, the
In the
Thus, the
As shown in FIG. 2, the
When the adhesive 8 (A) shown in FIG. 9 is made of, for example, an ultraviolet curable epoxy resin, the
That is, the
According to the first embodiment described above, in the
Moreover, since the element substrate 11 (C) in the cathode layer forming state fed out from the
In addition, the element substrate 11 (C) in the cathode layer formation state immediately before the bonding step (that is, immediately before sealing) is heated by irradiating microwaves with the
Further, in the
Further, in the
In addition, the element substrate 11 (C) that particularly needs temperature management is only irradiated with microwaves in the

“Second Embodiment”
A manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method of an organic EL panel according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described mainly with respect to differences from the first embodiment with reference to FIGS.
In the second embodiment, as shown in FIG. 10, a previous drying device (first drying means) 80 is additionally provided between the
The
Since the element substrate 11 (A) in the anode layer forming state does not have the
According to the second embodiment described above, an organic layer is added because the previous drying step of drying the element substrate 11 (A) in the anode layer forming state is added at the timing before the organic layer forming step. After 4 is formed, it is possible to remove in advance the moisture of the portion that is confined by the

In the third embodiment, as shown in FIG. 12, an intermediate drying device (first drying means) 90 is additionally provided between the organic
