- 前記最大幅寸法が、約18.5mm以下である、請求項1に記載の大腿骨構成製部品。
- 前記最大幅寸法が、約15.7mmと18.5mmとの間である、請求項3に記載の大腿骨構成部品。
- 前記テーパが付いた部分は、矢状面及び冠状面で近位から遠位に向かってテーパが付けられている、請求項1に記載の大腿骨構成部品。
- 前記テーパが付いた部分は、断面で外側から内側に向かって更にテーパが付けられている、請求項5に記載の大腿骨構成部品。

- 前記大腿骨構成部品が大腿骨に移植される場合、前記ステム部分が、前記骨髄内管の皮質との接触を有しない、請求項37に記載の大腿骨構成部品。
- 前記大腿骨構成部品が大腿骨に移植される場合、前記ステム部分が、前記骨髄内管皮質と接線方向の接触のみを有する、請求項37に記載の大腿骨構成部品。
- 前記ステム部分が、中心軸を有し、前記ステム部分の前記中心軸に対して平行な軸に沿って、前記ネックと前記本体との内側接合部から測定された前記本体の長さが、約125mm以下である、請求項37に記載の大腿骨構成部品。

前記大腿骨構成部品の前記本体の一部分が、前記大腿骨の前記骨髄内管に入り、前記患者の大腿骨に移植される場合、前記骨髄内管に入る前記部分は、前記骨髄内管の前記皮質に実質的に接触しない、方法。 - 前記骨髄内管に入る前記本体の前記部分が、前記骨髄内管の前記皮質との接触を有しない、請求項53に記載の方法。
- 前記骨髄内管に入る前記本体の前記部分が、前記骨髄内管の前記皮質との接線方向の接触のみを有する、請求項53に記載の方法。
- 前記患者がアジア系人である、請求項53に記載の方法。

(b)前記大腿骨構成部品を、患者の大腿骨に移植させることと、を含む方法であって、前記遠位ステム部分を含む、前記大腿骨構成部品の前記本体の一部分が、前記大腿骨の前記骨髄内管に入り、前記大腿骨構成部品が患者の大腿骨内に移植される場合、前記遠位ステム部分は、前記骨髄内管の前記皮質と実質的に接触しない、方法。 - 前記骨髄内管に入る前記本体の前記部分が、前記骨髄内管の前記皮質との接触を有し前記ない、請求項58に記載の方法。
