Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a power conversion device including a bus bar and a current sensor that measures a current flowing through the bus bar.
For example, as a power conversion device such as an inverter or a converter, a device including a plurality of semiconductor modules incorporating semiconductor elements and a bus bar connected to the semiconductor modules is known (see
In this power converter, one end of the bus bar is placed on the terminal block. In this terminal block, the bus bar is fastened to the connector of the external device.
Further, a current sensor such as a Hall element is attached to the terminal block. A through hole is formed in the current sensor, and a bus bar is inserted into the through hole. The power conversion device detects a current flowing through the bus bar by a current sensor, and uses the detection result for switching control of the semiconductor module.
The semiconductor module and the terminal block are fixed to a metal frame. A part of the bus bar is sealed with a resin sealing member, and the sealing member is fixed to the frame. As described above, the power conversion device can be easily manufactured by fixing a plurality of components to the frame and integrating them.
However, in the power conversion device, the amount of positional deviation between the bus bar and the current sensor tends to be large.
That is, the power conversion device has a structure in which the sealing member of the bus bar and the terminal block are each fixed to the frame. In addition, a current sensor is fixed to the terminal block, and a bus bar is inserted through a through hole formed in the current sensor. For this reason, a positional shift due to manufacturing variations occurs between the current sensor and the terminal block, and a positional shift can also occur between the terminal block and the frame. Further, a positional shift may occur between the frame and the sealing member, and a positional shift may also occur between the sealing member and the bus bar. Therefore, these positional deviations accumulate, and the positional deviation amount between the current sensor and the bus bar may increase. Therefore, assuming such a case, it is necessary to enlarge the through hole in order to prevent interference between the current sensor and the bus bar. As a result, it is difficult to reduce the size of the current sensor.
The present invention has been made in view of such a background, and an object of the present invention is to provide a power conversion device capable of downsizing a current sensor.
One embodiment of the present invention is a semiconductor module including a semiconductor element;
A module connection terminal connected to the semiconductor module, and a bus bar having an external output terminal for connection to an external device;
A sealing member for sealing a portion between the module connection terminal and the external output terminal in the bus bar;
A current sensor for measuring the current flowing through the external output terminal,
The current sensor has a through hole, and the external output terminal is inserted through the through hole.
The power conversion device is characterized in that a holding portion for holding the current sensor is formed in the sealing member.
In the power converter, the holding portion is formed on a sealing member that seals the bus bar, and the current sensor is held by the holding portion.
Therefore, the through hole of the current sensor can be formed small, and the current sensor can be reduced in size. That is, with the above configuration, both the current sensor and the bus bar are fixed to the sealing member. Therefore, the maximum amount of misalignment between the current sensor and the bus bar is up to the accumulation of the misalignment amount between the current sensor and the sealing member and the misalignment amount between the sealing member and the bus bar. It becomes. Therefore, the positional accuracy between the current sensor and the bus bar inserted through the through hole can be improved. Thereby, the through hole of the current sensor can be formed small, and the current sensor can be miniaturized.
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a power converter that can reduce the size of a current sensor.
The power conversion device can be a vehicle-mounted power conversion device to be mounted on, for example, an electric vehicle or a hybrid vehicle.
Further, in the power conversion device, it is preferable that there are a plurality of the external output terminals, a plurality of the through holes are formed, and the external output terminals are respectively inserted into the plurality of through holes. Item 2).
In this case, since the plurality of through holes can be formed small, the interval between the plurality of through holes can be narrowed. Therefore, the pitch of the external output terminals inserted into the individual through holes can be narrowed, and the power converter can be easily downsized.
Further, the external output terminal extends linearly from the sealing member, and the holding portion includes a pair of arms protruding from the sealing member in the same direction as the extending direction of the external output terminal, A claw portion that is formed at the tip of a pair of arms and engages with the current sensor, and the current sensor is clamped in the extending direction by the claw portion and the sealing member, whereby the current sensor is It is preferable to hold (claim 3).
In this case, the current sensor can be easily assembled to the holding unit. That is, according to the above configuration, when the power converter is manufactured, the tip of the external output terminal is inserted into the through hole of the current sensor, and then the current sensor is pushed into the sealing member, whereby the claw portion is engaged with the current sensor. In combination, the current sensor can be fixed to the sealing member. Therefore, it is possible to continuously perform the step of inserting the external output terminal into the through hole and the step of fixing the current sensor to the sealing member. Therefore, it becomes easy to manufacture the power converter.
Further, with the above configuration, for example, when the current sensor is damaged, the claw portion is disengaged from the current sensor by spreading the tip of the arm to the left and right, so that the current sensor can be easily pulled out. . Therefore, it is easy to replace the current sensor.
Further, the current sensor is sandwiched by the pair of arms from a direction orthogonal to the extending direction, and the sealing member has a current sensor sandwiching direction between the pair of arms and the extending direction. It is preferable that a position restricting portion for restricting the displacement of the current sensor in a direction orthogonal to both is formed.
In this case, the position of the current sensor can be restricted from three directions orthogonal to each other by the claw portion, the pair of arms, and the position restricting portion. Therefore, the current sensor can be held at a more accurate position with respect to the sealing member. Thereby, the amount of positional deviation between the current sensor and the bus bar can be made smaller, and the through hole can be made smaller. Therefore, the current sensor can be further downsized.
In addition, the sealing member includes a pair of the position restricting portions, and the pair of position restricting portions are each formed in a plate shape and are parallel to each other. It is preferable that the position restricting portion is configured to be sandwiched from the thickness direction (Claim 5).
In this case, since the pair of position restricting portions are each formed in a plate shape, a wide area of the current sensor can be held by the pair of position restricting portions. Therefore, the wobbling of the current sensor can be reduced, and the position accuracy of the current sensor with respect to the sealing member can be further increased. Thereby, the amount of positional deviation between the current sensor and the bus bar can be made smaller, and the through hole can be made smaller. Therefore, the current sensor can be further downsized.

As shown in FIG. 2, three
As described above, in this example, the

On the other hand, in this example, as shown in FIG. 1, the
As described above, the

As shown in FIG. 4, each

Next, the manufacturing method of the
Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 6, the
Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 7, the
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the
As described above, the
The effect of this example will be described. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 5, in this example, a holding
Therefore, the through
Moreover, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 5, the
In this way, since the plurality of through
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 5, the holding
If it does in this way, it will become easy to assemble
Further, with the above configuration, for example, when the
In this example, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 5, the
In this way, the position of the
Moreover, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 5, the sealing
In this case, since the pair of
As described above, according to this example, it is possible to provide a power converter that can reduce the size of the current sensor.
In the above-described embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, an example in which the flow path (refrigerant flow path) of the refrigerant 13 is formed by the cooling
Further, in this example, the
Further, as shown in FIG. 1, the holding
Moreover, as another aspect of the holding |
(Example 2)
In this example, the shape of the
As shown in FIG. 11, the
In addition, the same configuration as that of the first embodiment is provided.

In addition, the same effects as those of the first embodiment are obtained.
In this example, the

This example is an example in which the place where the holding
Further, the
In addition, the same configuration as that of the first embodiment is provided.
