Abstract

The divided cores 30 are respectively comprised of thin plates laminated one upon another; a bobbin 40 incorporated thereinto; and a coil wound around the bobbin 40. The divided core assembly 10 is configured by assembling the plurality of divided cores 30 in an annular shape. The shrunk ring 20 is disposed in an outer periphery of the divided core assembly 10 in a radial direction thereof. The bobbin 40 has a bobbin edge 41. The rotary electric machine is configured so that in terms of a width of the bobbin edge 41 in a radial direction thereof, a width of a part of the bobbin edge contacted with an end portion of each of the divided cores 30 in a circumferential direction thereof in an end surface of the divided core 30 in an axial direction thereof is larger than a width of a middle part of the divided core in the circumferential direction.
