Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a tension roll for a tension leveler apparatus, a tension leveler apparatus using the backup roll for the tension leveler apparatus, and a control method for the tension leveler apparatus.
A tension leveler device is used to correct a defective shape (for example, wave or warp) of a metal plate or metal band in a steel material manufacturing facility or the like. This tension leveler device is used in the final process of rolling process or after rolling process, for example, when used alone or incorporated in various apparatuses such as plating equipment, coating equipment, shearing equipment, coil preparation line, etc. There is also.
For example, as shown in FIG. 12, the
Further, in the example of FIG. 12, two
The compressive force applying means 20 is a roll group having a

These
Further, around the compressive force applying means 20, as necessary, separately from the
These
By the way, when correction using such a
In
However, there are many unclear points about the cause of chatter marks. Conventionally, it has been said that there is no effective measure for preventing chatter marks. Currently, the rolling speed has been increased, and the present method cannot prevent chatter marks.
The chatter mark is a minute plate thickness variation that is difficult to detect by an automatic inspection by image processing or the like, and therefore, the inspection is usually performed by the visual inspection of a skilled worker.
By the way, it is considered that the reduction of the driven torque of the backup roll bearing 27 can contribute to the prevention of chatter marks. This is because when the driven torque is reduced, the fluctuation range of the torque is considered to be reduced. Note that the backup roll bearing 27 is disposed between the
However, if the torque of the
As described above, there is a limit in reducing the rotational torque of the backup roll itself due to the characteristics of sealability, life and rigidity, and no specifications have been proposed for the backup roll that can completely prevent chatter marks. . In addition, chatter marks cannot be completely prevented by techniques based on equipment improvement and detection of rolling speed signals. In the present situation where a higher rolling speed is required, if chatter marks are generated under the condition of high-speed rolling, a large number of defective products are manufactured and the production efficiency is remarkably reduced. In addition, since the generation of chatter marks can be confirmed only by visual inspection after production, much labor is required for the inspection.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to make it possible to easily detect the occurrence of chatter marks and to further suppress the occurrence thereof.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention is arranged such that a radial load load bearing and a thrust load load bearing are disposed between a roll and a shaft, and the roll and the shaft A tension leveler backup roll for a tension leveler device in which a contact portion or a non-contact seal portion for closing a bearing space between them is arranged, and includes a rotation speed detection means capable of detecting the rotation speed of the roll relative to the shaft. A device backup roll configuration was adopted.
That is, in the tension leveler device, when chatter marks are generated on the metal plate, the cause of the chatter marks is stick slip and uneven rotation of the backup roll bearing that dominates the rotational fluctuation of the work roll that is in direct contact with the metal plate. I found something new this time. The occurrence of stick slip and rotation unevenness with respect to the shaft is considered to be caused by chatter marks.
Therefore, in the present invention, the rotational speed of the roll (driven outer ring) relative to the shaft is detected by providing the rotational speed detecting means on the backup roll. If the rotation speed can be detected, the occurrence of chatter marks can be detected based on fluctuations in the rotation speed. When chatter marks occur, it is considered that slip occurs between the metal plate and the roll that is in direct contact with the metal plate, and the slip causes fluctuations in the rotational speed of the backup roll (the stick slip or the rotation This is because unevenness has occurred. The feature of the present invention is that such a rotational speed detecting means is provided not on a roll that is in direct contact with the metal plate but on a backup roll that shares a radial load. In a general tension leveler device, the backup roll supports the compressive force transmitted from another roll, that is, a work roll that is in direct contact with the metal plate, or an intermediate roll that is in contact with the work plate, and corrects the metal plate. This is because it has an important influence on
In order to detect the occurrence of chatter marks based on fluctuations in the rotational speed, for example, the rotational speed of the roll based on the speed information from the rotational speed detection means, that is, the rotational speed per unit time is a predetermined threshold value. This can be done depending on whether or not the fluctuation exceeds. Alternatively, the difference between the number of rotations per unit time of the roll based on the speed information from the rotation speed detection means and the theoretical number of rotations of the roll based on the conveyance speed of the metal plate is predetermined. This can be done depending on whether or not the threshold is exceeded.
That is, the generation of chatter marks can be detected by calculating speed information related to the rotation speed from the rotation speed detection means, or in addition to the rotation speed information from the rotation speed detection means, rolling It can also be determined by calculating information on the conveyance speed of the metal plate such as speed.
Based on the judgment result, an alarm indicating that visual confirmation of the finished product is necessary, and a command to reduce the rolling speed and the conveyance speed are fed back to the tension leveler device itself and surrounding systems such as the rolling mill system. Can do.
In each of these configurations, the rotational speed detecting means can be provided at any position inside or outside the backup roll. For example, the rotational speed detecting means can be provided between the roll and the shaft.
In the case where radial load load bearings that support the roll and the shaft are provided at two locations along the axial direction, the rotational speed detecting means may be, for example, one of the radial load load bearings and the seal portion. Between the two. Alternatively, it can be provided between the two radial load bearings.
Further, in the backup roll used conventionally, radial load bearings such as needle bearings are provided at two locations along the axial direction, and further, thrust bearings such as ball bearings are provided on both sides (outside) in the axial direction. In many cases, load bearings are provided. In the backup roll for the tension leveler device, the acting thrust load is very small, so it is possible to omit one of the thrust load bearings on both sides in the axial direction and provide a rotational speed detecting means in the space. .
Further, when the thrust load bearing is disposed at the axial end of the roll, the rotational speed detecting means is configured to be integrally attached to the thrust load bearing. Can do. If the rotational speed detecting means is integrally attached to the thrust load bearing, it can be easily incorporated into the backup roll.
In each of these configurations, an auxiliary drive device is built in between the roll and the shaft, and the auxiliary drive device drives the roll so as to compensate for the decrease in the rotation speed of the roll relative to the shaft. A configuration that imparts force can be employed. The auxiliary drive device is preferably a motor, particularly a cylindrical built-in motor that can be disposed in the space between the roll and the shaft.
When the occurrence of chatter marks is detected by incorporating the auxiliary drive device, for example, when fluctuation (decrease) in the actual rotation speed or the actual rotation number of the roll exceeds a predetermined threshold, or the roll When the actual rotational speed of the motor is delayed beyond a predetermined threshold with respect to the theoretical rotational speed based on the conveying speed of the metal plate, the auxiliary drive device is instructed to provide feedback for correcting the fluctuation and delay. An auxiliary driving force can be given to the roll of the backup roll. As a result, the occurrence of further chatter marks can be prevented.
In addition, as a rotational speed detection means, the general rotational sensor which has a function which can detect the rotational speed of the roll with respect to an axis | shaft, ie, the rotation speed per unit time, is employable.
For example, a magnetic or optical encoder may be provided on the roll on the rotation side, and a sensor element for sensing a magnetic signal or an optical signal may be attached to the shaft on the non-rotation (fixed) side. The cable leading to the sensor element can be pulled out through an insertion hole provided at the center of the shaft.
In the case of a magnetic encoder, an N-pole and an S-pole arranged alternately in an annular shape are fitted into a cylindrical metal core. A magnetic encoder including a mandrel causes a magnetic sensor element disposed on a fixed side to sense a periodic magnetic signal by rotation around a central axis. In the case of an optical encoder, a portion in which light is reflected toward the sensor element and portions that are not reflected toward the sensor element are alternately arranged.
Further, as the rotation speed detecting means, a device provided with a power generation device that converts the rotation of the roll with respect to the shaft into electric energy can be adopted. In this case, the rotational speed can be detected based on the amount of power generated by the power generation device. In addition, a device that transmits a rotation signal with electric power generated by the power generation device can be attached. That is, the rotation sensor can be changed to a self-power generation device, and fluctuations in rotation such as rotation unevenness can be detected by calculation based on fluctuations in the amount of power generation instead of the rotation speed detection signal. At this time, as a method for outputting speed information such as a rotation speed signal, the wireless transmission device is attached to any part of the backup roll by a wired method or by utilizing its self-power generation. Can be output to an external control system.
Further, the following configurations can be adopted as a tension leveler device using a backup roll for a tension leveler device having these configurations.
That is, a work roll that is in direct contact with the metal plate, an intermediate roll that supports the work roll, a backup roll that supports the intermediate roll, and a drive roll for moving the metal plate in the transport direction, the backup roll Uses a backup roll for a tension leveler device having the above-described configuration, and detects chatter marks on the metal plate based on speed information from the rotational speed detection means provided in the backup roll. It is the structure provided with the means.
In this configuration, when the occurrence of chatter marks is detected, an alarm indicating that visual confirmation of the finished product is necessary can be transmitted.
Further, in the configuration provided with the chatter mark detection means, a configuration provided with a conveyance speed control means for adjusting the conveyance speed of the metal plate when the occurrence of chatter marks is detected by the chatter mark detection means is adopted. be able to.
In this configuration, when the occurrence of chatter marks is detected, in addition to an alarm indicating that visual confirmation of the finished product is necessary, a command to reduce the rolling speed and the conveyance speed is sent to the tension leveler device itself and the rolling It can be fed back to the surrounding system such as the device system. For example, when a tension leveler device is incorporated in the rolling device system, it should be used to control the rolling speed of the entire rolling device including the tension leveler device, the rolling amount of the rolling device, and the rolling amount of the tension leveler device. Can do.
In the tension leveler device having each of these configurations, the chatter mark detection means detects the occurrence of chatter marks, for example, the number of rotations per unit time of the roll based on speed information from the rotation speed detection means is predetermined. This can be done depending on whether or not the fluctuation exceeds the threshold.
Alternatively, the occurrence of chatter marks by the chatter mark detection means may be detected theoretically based on the rotation speed per unit time of the roll based on the speed information from the rotation speed detection means and the conveyance speed of the metal plate. This can be done depending on whether the difference from the number of rotations per unit time of the roll exceeds a predetermined threshold. Here, the conveyance speed can be theoretically the conveyance speed of the metal plate by the drive roll provided in the tension leveler device, and when the tension leveler device is incorporated in the rolling device system, the rolling device system. The command rolling speed and the actual rolling speed detected in the system can be used.
Further, an auxiliary drive device can be incorporated in the tension leveler device provided with the chatter mark detection means. In other words, an auxiliary drive device is built in between the roll and the shaft, and when the occurrence of chatter marks is detected by the chatter mark detection means, to compensate for a decrease in the rotational speed of the roll relative to the shaft. In addition, an auxiliary driving device control unit that controls the auxiliary driving device so as to apply a driving force to the roll may be provided.
Further, as a control method of the tension leveler device having each of these configurations, the following configurations can be employed.
And a tension leveler control method for transmitting an alarm indicating that visual confirmation of the finished product is necessary when the chatter mark detection means detects the occurrence of the chatter mark.
Furthermore, when chatter mark generation is detected by the chatter mark detection means, a transport speed control means for adjusting the transport speed of the metal plate is provided, and when the chatter mark detection means detects the occurrence of chatter marks. This is a control method for a tension leveler device that transmits a command to lower the rolling speed or the conveyance speed to the tension leveler device itself or a surrounding system such as a rolling device system. For example, when a tension leveler device is incorporated in the rolling device system, the conveyance speed control means can control the rolling speed and the reduction amount of the entire rolling device including the tension leveler device.
In the control method of the tension leveler device configured as described above, the chatter mark detection by the chatter mark detection unit is detected by, for example, the number of rotations per unit time of the roll based on the speed information from the rotation speed detection unit. However, it can be performed by a method of determining whether or not a fluctuation exceeding a predetermined threshold occurs.
Alternatively, the occurrence of chatter marks by the chatter mark detection means may be detected theoretically based on the rotation speed per unit time of the roll based on the speed information from the rotation speed detection means and the conveyance speed of the metal plate. This can be done by determining whether the difference from the number of rotations per unit time of the roll exceeds a predetermined threshold.
Further, when the tension leveler device provided with the chatter mark detection means includes the auxiliary drive device and the auxiliary drive device control means, when the chatter mark generation is detected by the chatter mark detection means, The auxiliary drive device control means adopts a control method of a tension leveler device that controls the auxiliary drive device to apply a driving force to the roll in order to compensate for a decrease in the rotation speed of the roll with respect to the shaft. it can.
According to the present invention, since the rotation speed detecting means is provided in the backup roll, the rotation speed of the roll with respect to the shaft is detected, so that the occurrence of chatter marks can be easily detected and the occurrence thereof can be suppressed. .

As shown in FIG. 4, the

In addition to the above-described method, the
Here, the conveyance speed may be the theoretical conveyance speed of the
Further, in the configuration incorporating the

As described above, by providing the
When the chatter mark is generated, it is considered that slip occurs between the

A control method of the
First, in the control method of the
The chatter mark detection means 51 receives an output signal related to the speed information from the rotation speed detection means 40 by the
The
The occurrence of chatter marks is detected based on an analysis result in the
As a result of determination by the
For example, when the
Next, the control method of the
Here, when the

Next, the control method of the
The
As a result of determination by the
And the conveyance speed control means 52 which received the information from the
The control method of the
In this control method, when the
The control method of the tension leveler device shown in the flow chart of FIG. 11 is based on the
As a result of determination by the
