（２）本発明は、前記（１）に記載されたエアバッグ装置におけるエアバッグの折り畳み方法であって、前記インフレータ側パネルの中央部を折り畳みテーブルに固定した状態で乗員側パネル中央部を所定量上昇させる工程と、前記乗員側パネルを前記インフレータ側パネルの周りで山折りして前記インフレータ側パネルの外側に配置する工程と、前記山折りした乗員側パネルとインフレータ側パネルとをそれぞれ前記折り畳みテーブルに向けて圧縮させ、エアバッグの中心軸線に沿って折り畳む工程と、を有することを特徴とする。
