Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an electric circuit abnormality detection device for detecting a leakage in a DC electric circuit in a house where a DC electric circuit is wired, and an electric circuit interruption device that interrupts the DC electric circuit when the electric circuit abnormality detection device detects an abnormality in the electric circuit. is there.
In recent years, facilities that generate DC power and store electricity, such as solar power generation devices, fuel cells, and storage batteries, have become popular in homes. That is, housing facilities that supply and store relatively large DC power are increasing.
In addition, many electric devices used in homes incorporate a circuit that converts alternating current supplied from a commercial power source into direct current. For example, an electrical device whose main configuration is an electronic circuit that handles signals, such as a video device, an audio device, a telephone, and a computer, includes a power supply circuit that converts alternating current into direct current in order to operate the electronic circuit. Furthermore, even in the case of electrical equipment that mainly uses electric energy to drive power sources and heat sources, such as air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, rice cookers, and microwave ovens, electronic circuits for controlling the operation Has a built-in power supply circuit that converts alternating current to direct current. In addition, electrical equipment such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and lighting fixtures often incorporates an inverter circuit. In this type of electrical equipment, a circuit that converts alternating current to direct current is used to obtain direct current power to be supplied to the inverter circuit. I have.
As described above, the number of housing facilities that supply DC power is increasing, and the number of electrical devices that require DC as an internal power source is increasing. Therefore, the entire house converts power between AC and DC. The number of places to perform has increased, and as a result, the power loss accompanying power conversion has increased. In order to reduce power loss associated with power conversion as a whole house, it is necessary to reduce the number of places where power conversion is performed.
Therefore, in order to make it possible to use AC power and DC power in combination, a power distribution system is proposed in which an AC circuit that supplies AC power to the load and a DC circuit that supplies DC power to the load are laid in the house in advance. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1). If an AC circuit and a DC circuit are preliminarily laid in a house, many electrical devices do not need to perform power conversion from AC to DC. In addition, a distributed power source (such as a solar power generation device or a fuel cell) or a storage battery that supplies DC power reduces the amount of power that is converted from DC to AC.
By the way, the driving voltage applied to the electronic circuit in electrical equipment is tens of volts or less (in many cases, selected from 48V, 24V, 12V, and 5V). The voltage is often about 300V. In addition, in order to supply power to an existing AC circuit for a distributed power supply, the DC-AC converter (inverter) input voltage is often set to about 300V.
Therefore, since there is a portion where the line voltage of the DC circuit is about 300 V at the maximum, a device for preventing leakage and electric shock is required in the DC circuit. In particular, DC power has a constant voltage and does not have a zero cross, so that current tends to be sustained when a ground fault occurs. In other words, when an arc is generated in a direct current, the arc is more likely to be sustained than in an alternating current. On the other hand, regarding electric shock, it has been found that the current value at which the probability of occurrence of ventricular fibrillation is higher is larger than that of alternating current.
Whether or not surrounding materials ignite due to an arc depends on the energy of the arc and the nature of the material present at the location where the arc occurs. A substance present at an arc generation site does not ignite if it is nonflammable, but if it is flammable, it may ignite depending on various conditions such as material, amount, and environmental temperature.
However, since it is difficult to consider various conditions regarding materials, general combustible materials such as wood, cloth, paper, etc. are assumed as materials present at the arc generation location. . On the other hand, the arc energy is a time integral value of the arc voltage and the arc current, and when the arc voltage in the DC circuit can be regarded as constant, the arc energy is determined using the arc current and the duration as variables.
Here, it is assumed that the arc voltage of the DC circuit is 140 V, and that a ground fault current of 300 A flows when a ground fault arc occurs. As a result of experiments conducted under these conditions, it was found that when the duration of the ground fault arc exceeded about 0.002 s, ignition occurred. From this experimental result, it can be said that it is desirable to design with the target of about several hundred Ws as the arc energy at the time of interruption.
By the way, techniques for detecting the current passing through the DC circuit include a technique for converting the current into a voltage using a resistor, and a technique for detecting a magnetic field around the circuit with a magnetic detection element such as a Hall element or a magnetoresistive element. Are known. As a technique for detecting a ground fault current in a DC circuit, a technique is known in which an AC signal is injected into the DC circuit and an unbalance of the AC signal is detected by a zero-phase current transformer. Furthermore, a technique for detecting the magnetic bias of the core due to an unbalanced current using a saturable reactor having an annular core has also been proposed (for example, see Patent Document 2).
Among the techniques for detecting the direct current described above, the technique using the resistor constantly generates a loss because the current always flows through the resistor. In addition, a configuration using a resistance bridge to detect an unbalanced current caused by a ground fault is conceivable, but there is a problem that the number of parts increases.
On the other hand, the technique of injecting an alternating current signal into a direct current circuit has the possibility that the alternating current signal and the communication signal may interfere when the power line carrier communication is performed using the direct current circuit as the communication line, and is limited to the use form of the direct current circuit. Occurs.
If a technique using an unsaturated reactor as in Patent Document 2 is adopted, problems in a technique using a resistance bridge and a technique for injecting an AC signal are solved. However, the technique described in Patent Document 2 requires two independent windings wound in a toroidal shape around an annular core, and two pieces using a multivibrator using two transistors. Since the windings are alternately energized, the detection accuracy may vary depending on the winding and transistor specifications.
When a technique for detecting a direct current using a magnetic detection element (such as a Hall element) is employed, problems in the technique using a resistance bridge and the technique for injecting an AC signal are solved, as in the technique described in Patent Document 2. Further, it is necessary to correct the variation of the magnetic detection element and the temperature characteristic of the magnetic detection element. Since this type of correction is a general technique, the detection accuracy is improved in the technique described in Patent Document 2. Compared with the case of improving, the configuration is simple and the countermeasure for improving the detection accuracy is easy.
As described above, a technique for measuring a direct current using a magnetic detection element is known, but a technique for comprehensively detecting that an abnormality has occurred in an electric circuit including a ground fault in a DC electric circuit laid in a house. Is not known. In particular, it is not considered to judge the detection of ground fault and the possibility of electric shock.
An object of the present invention is to provide an electric circuit abnormality detection device that comprehensively detects electric circuit abnormality in a DC electric circuit laid in a house, and an electric circuit breaker using the electric circuit abnormality detection device.
An electrical path abnormality detection device according to the present invention includes an annular core through which a DC electrical circuit composed of a plurality of wires is inserted as a primary conductor in a house, a magnetic detection element that is attached to the core and detects a magnetic flux generated around the primary conductor, and a primary A detection circuit for detecting an abnormality in a DC circuit by detecting, from the output of a magnetic detection element, a magnetic flux remaining without being canceled out of magnetic fluxes generated around a plurality of lines forming a conductor as a magnetic flux generated around a primary conductor; It is characterized by providing.
In this electric circuit abnormality detection device, the detection circuit obtains the current value of the leakage current from the output of the magnetic detection element when the leakage current is generated downstream from the portion inserted into the core in the DC circuit, and the current value and It is preferable to calculate the electric energy, which is the time integral value of the product of the line voltage of the DC circuit and the current value, as the arc energy of the ground fault arc that is an abnormality of the DC circuit.
In this electric circuit abnormality detection device, the DC electric circuit is connected to a grounded neutral wire, a first voltage line to which a positive voltage is applied to the neutral wire, and a negative voltage to the neutral wire. The detection circuit has three lines with the second voltage line, and the detection circuit is based on a voltage difference between the line voltage between the first voltage line and the neutral line and the line voltage between the second voltage line and the neutral line. It is preferable to detect an open phase of the neutral line that is an abnormality of the DC circuit.
In this electric circuit abnormality detection device, the detection circuit samples the output of the magnetic detection element at a predetermined cycle, and calculates the average value of the sampling data excluding the maximum value and the minimum value among the sampling data obtained in a certain measurement period. It is preferable to use as a measurement value in the measurement period.
An electric circuit breaker according to the present invention includes any one of the above-described electric circuit abnormality detection devices and a circuit breaker that is inserted into the DC electric circuit and that interrupts the DC electric circuit when the detection circuit detects an abnormality in the DC electric circuit. According to the configuration of the present invention, it is possible to comprehensively detect an abnormality in an electric circuit in a DC electric circuit laid in a house.
First, the overall configuration of a distribution system to which the electric circuit abnormality detection device and the electric circuit interruption device are applied will be described with reference to FIG. In the embodiment described below, description will be made on the assumption that it is applied to a detached house, but this does not preclude applying the technology of the embodiment described below to an apartment house.

In addition to the

The illustrated example includes a solar
The DC main
Further, a
In the illustrated example, not only the
Hereinafter, the relationship among the AC /
As shown in FIG. 3, the input and output of the AC /
In the present embodiment, the line voltage of the
Specifically, the line voltage of the

That is, it is possible to secure power that can drive not only low-load DC devices such as lighting fixtures but also high-load DC devices such as air conditioners, refrigerators, microwave ovens, and washing machines. Since these DC devices are connected to the

An AC /
The AC /
Therefore, the DC main
By the way, the reason why the output voltage of the AC /
That is, in recent years, the number of AC devices with built-in inverter circuits has increased, and inverter circuits have been built into air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines and the like in addition to lighting fixtures. In this type of inverter circuit, a configuration in which a rectifying circuit for full-wave rectification of alternating current and a DC-DC converter (in many cases, a chopper circuit) that also improves power factor is provided in front of the inverter circuit is often used. . A circuit configuration that shares the switching elements of the inverter circuit and the DC-DC converter is also known.
A power supply circuit for this type of AC device can be said to be a combination of a rectifier circuit and a switching power supply circuit. Therefore, the output voltage of the AC /
Therefore, if it is a 100V AC device incorporating an inverter circuit, it can operate by using a DC voltage of about 150V as an input voltage of the DC-DC converter, and a 200V AC device incorporating an inverter circuit. If so, the operation is possible by using a DC voltage of about 300 V as the input voltage of the DC-DC converter. That is, the DC
In short, in an AC device equipped with an inverter circuit that has been conventionally provided, this type of AC device can be replaced with an AC power source only by changing the design to the extent that a terminal for connecting a power source is provided at the input end of the DC-DC converter. It can also be used with a DC power supply.
As a result, as described above, even in a transitional stage in which the laying of the DC main
In the configuration described above, since a DC voltage of ± 150 V is applied to the
Below, the structure of the
If there is no ground fault and the current flows normally on the downstream side of the
The output of the
The
As described above, the
Hereinafter, functions of the
The
By the way, when a ground fault occurs on the downstream side of the
When the polarity of the output of the
The normal range for the measured value is set to 100 mA or less, for example. That is, when the measured value (actually, the output of the amplifier provided at the input stage of the detection unit 112) exceeds 100 mA, it is determined that the measurement value deviates from the normal range. However, it is conceivable that the measured value deviates from the normal range due to temporarily generated noise even though no ground fault has occurred. Therefore, the rule is determined so that the
For example, a rule is determined so that a ground fault is determined when a plurality of (for example, five) measurement values obtained continuously deviate from the normal range. Alternatively, a rule is determined so that a ground fault is determined when an appropriate number (for example, 7) of a plurality of defined (for example, 10) measured values deviates from the normal range. Here, regardless of which rule is set, the
FIG. 4 shows an operation of the
When the ground fault is detected by the
As described in the background art, it is desirable to limit the arc energy of the ground fault arc to about several hundred Ws in order to prevent ignition accompanying the ground fault arc. Therefore, the amount of electric power in the measurement period is obtained from the measured value (current value) and voltage value obtained for each measurement period, and the contact of the circuit breaker is connected before the electric energy exceeds the upper limit set to about several hundred Ws. Opening is preferred.
Now, when the upper limit is set to 100 Ws, the measurement period is 0.5 ms, and the measurement values obtained in five consecutive measurement periods deviate from the normal range, it is determined that there is a ground fault. Is assumed. That is, the ground fault is determined in 2.5 ms. Moreover, since the line voltage of the DC main
Therefore, the
By the way, since the line voltage of the
There are various conditions that cause physiological effects of electric shock, such as current passing through the human body and energization time, as well as age, sex, and skin condition. Can be represented. Further, the current value at which the same physiological effect occurs generally has a higher direct current than an alternating current. Simply put, it can be said that direct current is less susceptible to electric shock than alternating current. For example, if the energization time is about 1 second, the probability of occurrence of ventricular fibrillation increases when the alternating current is about 30 mA or more, but in the case of direct current, the measurement result that ventricular fibrillation hardly occurs even with a current larger than this is known. It has been.
In the above example, by setting the normal range with respect to the current value to 100 mA or less, a current that does not cause physiological effects due to electric shock is determined as the normal range. It is in the safe side. That is, in the determination process shown in FIG. 4, if the value is as described above, it is possible to prevent ignition due to a ground fault current, and it is possible to prevent a physiological influence when an electric shock is caused by the ground fault current. In addition, the numerical value mentioned above is an example, Comprising: A numerical value can be changed suitably.
For example, the following operation may be employed. That is, the measurement period may be set to 0.25 s, and 25 outputs of the
In the above-described operation, it is determined that a ground fault has occurred when the measurement period is 0.25 s and the accumulated value reaches 100 Ws regardless of the number of measurement periods. In this way, when a relatively long measurement period is set to determine the presence or absence of a ground fault, the normal range for the current value can be set to a small value, and even when there is almost no physiological effect due to electric shock, It becomes possible to cut off the tangling. However, the time from when the ground fault occurs until the DC
The operation of the
In the present embodiment, since the magnetic flux generated around the
By the way, the DC main
Although such an extreme unbalance is rarely generated, it is desirable to detect an unbalance of 30% or more as in the case of an AC circuit. The phase loss of the
As described above, by providing the
As described above, the
