Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a resin sheet molding method, a resin sheet molding apparatus, and a resin component manufacturing method.
In recent years, the replacement of materials from metal parts to resin parts and the expansion of parts by integration of parts have been promoted. Along with this, development of a molding technique capable of integrally molding a resin into a desired part shape is in progress. Examples of such a molding technique include press molding in which a resin sheet is pressed into a part shape in addition to conventional injection molding.
For example, a technique for press-molding a resin sheet such as a fiber reinforced resin sheet into a component shape has been studied. In this molding technique, after the resin sheet is preheated, the resin sheet is quickly supplied between the molds so as to suppress the temperature decrease as much as possible. Next, after the resin sheet is press-molded into a mold shape, the molded product is obtained by cooling.
However, the molding technique has a problem that wrinkles are generated in the peripheral portion of the resin sheet corresponding to the flange portion of the molded product due to partial concentration of the inflow of the resin sheet during press molding. Thus, a technique is known in which a blank holder is provided so as to surround the mold, and the formation of wrinkles is suppressed by press molding in a state where the peripheral edge portion of the resin sheet is constrained by the blank holder (for example, Patent Documents). 1).
However, in the technique of Patent Document 1, a preheated resin sheet is placed on the molding surface of the punch from the beginning of molding. For this reason, the resin sheet is cooled by contact with the punch, and particularly when the resin sheet is press-molded into a deep mold shape, cooling and solidification of the resin sheet proceeds. Then, there was a problem that the flow of the resin constituting the resin sheet was hindered and the moldability deteriorated. In particular, cracks may occur in the portion corresponding to the bottom corner of the molded product.
Moreover, in the technique of patent document 1, although the peripheral part of the resin sheet is not clamped by the blank holder in the initial stage of molding, the peripheral part is in surface contact with the pressing plate on the punch side. That is, since the lower surface of the peripheral portion of the resin sheet is always in contact with the pressing plate on the punch side, there is a problem that cooling and solidification proceeds at the peripheral portion, the flow of the resin is inhibited, and the moldability deteriorates. .
This invention is made | formed in view of the above, The objective is to provide the shaping | molding technique in which the moldability improved rather than before.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a resin sheet molding method in which a preheated resin sheet (for example, a
In the molding method of the present invention, after placing the resin sheet preheated in the first step on the peripheral edge of the concave mold, in the second step, at least a part of the peripheral edge of the resin sheet is lifted from the peripheral edge of the concave mold. While pushing the resin sheet in the concave direction. That is, the resin sheet is pushed in the concave direction in a state where the peripheral edge of the resin sheet is not sandwiched and the peripheral edge of the resin sheet is not in contact with the concave peripheral edge or the blank holder.
Thereby, the progress of the cooling and solidification of the resin sheet due to the peripheral edge of the resin sheet coming into contact with the concave peripheral edge or the blank holder can be avoided from the initial stage of molding. At the same time, it is possible to avoid an increase in resin flow resistance due to the peripheral edge of the resin sheet being pinched and restrained from the initial stage of molding. That is, since the molding is performed in a state where the resin can flow from the periphery to the center of the resin sheet without excess or deficiency, the moldability can be improved.
In the molding method of the present invention, in the subsequent third step, the resin sheet is further pushed in the concave direction while holding the peripheral edge of the resin sheet with the blank holder. Thereby, generation | occurrence | production of the wrinkle in the peripheral part of a resin sheet can be avoided.
Therefore, according to the molding method of the present invention, it is possible to provide a molding technique with improved moldability as compared with the conventional technique.
The present invention also provides a resin sheet molding apparatus for molding a preheated resin sheet (for example, a
In the molding apparatus of the present invention, the concave mold is disposed below and the convex mold is disposed above, and the blank holder provided to face the peripheral edge of the concave mold is disposed above the front end surface of the convex mold. Also, between the blank holder and the peripheral edge of the convex base, after the convex sheet is advanced relative to the concave mold, the resin sheet is pushed to some extent in the concave mold direction, and then the blank holder is attached in the concave peripheral edge direction. A biasing means is provided.
Thereby, the shaping | molding apparatus of this invention operate | moves as follows and there exists the following effects.
First, when the convex mold is advanced with respect to the concave mold, the front end surface of the convex mold comes into contact with the central portion of the resin sheet before the blank holder comes into contact with the peripheral edge of the resin sheet. That is, the resin sheet is pushed in the concave direction without holding the peripheral edge of the resin sheet. At this time, the resin sheet portion that contacts the inner peripheral edge of the concave mold serves as a fulcrum, and the resin sheet section that contacts the peripheral edge of the convex mold serves as a power point. As a result of the force in the direction away from the peripheral edge, the peripheral edge of the resin sheet is lifted from the concave peripheral edge. Thereby, the progress of the cooling and solidification of the resin sheet due to the peripheral edge of the resin sheet coming into contact with the concave peripheral edge can be avoided from the initial stage of molding. At the same time, it is possible to avoid an increase in resin flow resistance due to the peripheral edge of the resin sheet being pinched and restrained from the initial stage of molding. That is, since the molding is performed in a state where the resin can flow from the peripheral portion to the central portion of the resin sheet without excess or deficiency, the moldability can be improved.
Further, when the resin sheet is pushed to some extent in the concave mold direction, the blank holder receives a biasing force in the concave peripheral edge direction from the biasing means. Then, the peripheral part of the resin sheet is sandwiched between the blank holder and the concave peripheral part, and in this state, the resin sheet is further pushed in the concave direction. Thereby, generation | occurrence | production of the wrinkle in the peripheral part of a resin sheet can be avoided.
Therefore, according to the molding apparatus of the present invention, it is possible to provide a molding technique with improved moldability than before.
The blank holder is divided into a plurality of divided holders (for example, a divided
In the molding apparatus according to the present invention, the blank holder is divided into a plurality of divided holders, and an urging means is provided for each of the plurality of divided holders so as to urge the blank holders toward the peripheral edge of the concave mold at individual timings. .
Here, the generation timing of wrinkles in the peripheral edge of the resin sheet is partially different depending on the mold shape. According to the present invention, the restraining timing of the peripheral edge of the resin sheet by the blank holder is It can be partially different. Thereby, the peripheral part of a resin sheet can be restrained with the more suitable timing according to the generation | occurrence | production timing of wrinkles. For this reason, it can avoid restraining the peripheral part of a resin sheet from a useless early time, and the time when the peripheral part of a resin sheet contacts a blank holder or a concave peripheral part can be shortened more. Therefore, the progress of cooling and solidification of the resin sheet can be further suppressed, and the moldability can be further improved.
Moreover, this invention provides the manufacturing method of the resin component which manufactures a resin component by shape | molding the preheated resin sheet (for example, below-mentioned resin sheet 10) into a shape. The method of manufacturing a resin component according to the present invention includes a first step of placing the resin sheet on a peripheral portion (for example, a
According to this invention, the same effects as the invention of the molding method and the invention of the molding apparatus are exhibited.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the shaping | molding technique whose moldability improved compared with the former can be provided.

Note that the urging timing can also be achieved by making the stroke lengths of the plurality of first gas springs 45 different from each other without using the
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the

Here, FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view showing a state in which the peripheral portion of the
First, from the initial state shown in FIG. 1, when the
At this time, the portion A of the
Accordingly, it is possible to avoid the progress of cooling and solidification of the
Next, as shown in FIG. 3, when the convex mold 31 (upper mold mechanism 30) is further advanced relative to the concave mold 21 (lower mold mechanism 20), the
At this time, the height of the
Next, as shown in FIG. 4, when the convex mold 31 (upper mold mechanism 30) is further advanced relative to the concave mold 21 (lower mold mechanism 20), the peripheral edge of the
Therefore, according to the press molding apparatus 1 of the present embodiment, it is possible to provide a molding technique with improved moldability than before.
It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and modifications, improvements, etc. within a scope that can achieve the object of the present invention are included in the present invention.
