Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 06-215659

However, in the conventional technique as described above, since both elastic contact pieces are oriented in directions opposite to each other from the base, in order to reduce the switch outer shape in the direction between the fixed contacts, the length of the elastic contact piece is shortened. If the part that can be elastically deformed is shortened by that amount, there is a problem that the pressing pressure of the movable contact against the fixed contact increases and the load on the elastic contact piece increases, so that fatigue tends to occur and the life of There was a risk of lowering.

In addition, if the elastically deformable portion of the movable contact terminal is short, an appropriate contact pressure cannot be obtained, and the contact pressure for each fixed contact that has moved may vary, resulting in lack of connection stability.

In view of such a conventional problem, the present invention has been made for the purpose of providing a switch such as a slide switch that can perform a stable switching operation and has high durability even when it is downsized and thinned.

In the switch configured to be switched by moving in the direction between the fixed contacts, the movable contact terminal includes a base portion supported by the operating body, and both ends of the base portion in the fixed contact direction. Are provided in a staggered arrangement in which a pair of elastic contact pieces oriented in opposite directions in the direction between the fixed contacts are shifted to different sides, and the elastic contact pieces are directed from the base end to one direction in the fixed contact direction. An elastic support piece portion having a shape, and a contact support piece portion having a shape that is folded back from the distal end side of the elastic support piece portion toward the fixed contact side and directed toward the other in the direction between the fixed contacts. The movable contact is formed at the tip, and the two movable contacts are arranged alternately at intervals in the direction between the fixed contacts.

As described above, the switch according to the present invention includes a plurality of fixed contacts exposed at intervals on the inner side surface of the housing, a movable contact terminal having a pair of movable contacts contacting and separating from the fixed contacts, and the housing And an operation body accommodated so as to be movable in the direction between the fixed contacts, and the movable contact terminal is moved in the direction between the fixed contacts in conjunction with the movement of the operation body so that the switching operation is performed.
