式中、nは、1〜10の範囲の値である。実施形態では、生成した(NH4)2Sn生成物は、処理ゾーンから除去され、処理することによって硫化アンモニウム反応体が回収される。
エオセン原油は、API重力が18°で、全イオウ含量が4.5重量%である中東原油である。
全イオウを3.8重量%含有する、エオセン原油以外の典型的な重質原油を用いて実施例1を繰り返した。N2排出ストリームには有意のH2Sは検出されなかった。原油中の全不安定イオウは、原油の0.005重量%未満であることが求められた。したがって、この重質原油はほとんど又は全く不安定イオウを含有していないことが結論された。

Claims (15)
- 不安定イオウ化合物を少なくとも0.1重量%含有する原油を100°F〜450°Fの範囲の温度で加熱することによってその中に含有されている不安定イオウ化合物の少なくとも50%を転換するステップを含む、原油のイオウ含量を低減するための方法。
- 原油が、100°F〜450°Fの範囲の温度、15psia〜200psiaの範囲の圧力で、1分〜60分の範囲の時間加熱される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 原油が、水素の添加なしで加熱される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 加熱原油をストリッピング流体と接触させることによって加熱原油中に含有されている揮発性イオウ化合物の除去を促進するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。

b.触媒材料の存在下で100°F〜450°Fの範囲の温度、15psia〜200psiaの範囲の圧力で、原油と接触させるための、天然ガス又はプロセスガスを含むストリッピング流体と、
c.ストリッピング流体を処理ゾーン内に通すための流体入口、原油を処理ゾーン内に通すための原油入口、及び原油とストリッピング流体が触媒材料床内で接触しあうように処理ゾーン内に配置された触媒材料床を備える処理ゾーンとを含む、原油のイオウ含量を低減するためのシステム。
