Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a link device for a vehicular accelerator pedal that adjusts the rotational speed and output of an engine mounted on a vehicle, and more particularly to a link device that prevents abnormal rotation of an engine due to an erroneous operation.
When braking the kite suddenly while driving the vehicle, if the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal are operated incorrectly with full force, the vehicle may run away.
In order to prevent such an accident, even if the brake pedal and accelerator pedal are operated at the same time, if the pedals are operated more than a certain level, the link mechanism on the accelerator pedal side is cut off, and the engine speed is returned to the idling direction. Has been proposed.
For example, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2002-178882 (Patent Document 1), as shown in FIG. 6 attached to the present application, an

However, according to
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of such problems, and when the accelerator pedal is operated with a force greater than the pedaling force that is normally operated, the reversing mechanism that reverses the accelerator lever from the accelerator opening direction to the closing direction, An object of the present invention is to maintain the brake operation function by maintaining the idling operation without causing the engine to stall, and surely reducing the engine output and at the same time ensuring the negative pressure for the brake booster.
The present invention achieves such an object, and includes an accelerator pedal for controlling the rotational speed of an engine mounted on a vehicle, an accelerator pedal engaged at one end, a first stopper at the other end, A pedal lever operating shaft is provided at the portion, and a pedal lever that swings by depression of the accelerator pedal around the pedal lever operating shaft;
A cable-moving cable connected to the engine speed adjusting unit is engaged with the tip side, and the base side is pivotally supported by the pedal lever, and the tip side is a first stopper of the pedal lever. An accelerator lever capable of abutment and separation;
An elastic member that is bridged between the accelerator lever and the pedal lever and biases the front end portion of the accelerator lever in a direction to contact the first stopper;
A reversing mechanism that reverses and imparts the urging force of the elastic member in the direction away from the first stopper when the accelerator pedal is depressed beyond the allowable use range of the engine; It is provided with.
According to this invention, when the accelerator pedal is operated with a force greater than the pedaling force that is normally operated, the acting direction of the elastic force of the elastic member is reversed by the reversing mechanism (by the toggle action by the elastic member), and the accelerator lever Since the tip end side is applied in the direction away from the first stopper, it can be moved in the engine idle direction to return to the idle operation state, and the negative pressure for the brake booster can be ensured. The brake output function can be maintained at the same time as the engine output is reduced.
Preferably, a second stopper is provided to stop the movement of the accelerator lever so that it does not exceed a predetermined position when the accelerator lever is moved to the opposite side by the reversing mechanism. Good.
That is, when the accelerator lever moves in the idle direction by the reversing mechanism, there is a possibility that the engine stalls if it is returned too much. Therefore, the second stopper that stops so as not to exceed the predetermined position is provided, so that the engine is not stalled. It can be returned to the idle operation state.
Preferably, a third stopper is provided for preventing the accelerator lever from rotating beyond the vicinity of the maximum load of the allowable use range of the engine.
With such a configuration, the accelerator lever is prevented from rotating more than the vicinity of the maximum load of the allowable use range of the engine, so that in addition to the mechanism in which the accelerator lever is automatically returned by the reversing mechanism, mechanical In addition, by restricting the movement of the accelerator lever beyond the third stopper, it is possible to reliably prevent the accelerator lever from rising to an abnormally high rotation and to perform the return operation by the reversing mechanism with certainty. It becomes like this.
Preferably, a fourth stopper is provided on the back side in the depression direction of the accelerator pedal, and the amount of depression of the accelerator pedal is in contact with the accelerator pedal in the vicinity of the maximum load position within the allowable use range of the engine, It is recommended to let the driver detect excessive amount of accelerator pedal depression.
With this configuration, the accelerator pedal is brought into contact with the fourth stopper, and the pedaling force suddenly increases, so that the driver senses an excessive amount of depression, and the throttle opening that the driver does not intend during normal driving is performed. Make sure that the vehicle does not decelerate due to closing.
When the accelerator pedal is operated with a force greater than the pedaling force that is normally operated, the direction of action of the elastic force of the elastic member is reversed by the reversing mechanism (by the toggle action of the elastic member), and the tip end side of the accelerator lever is Since it is applied in a direction away from the first stopper, it can be moved in the engine idle direction and returned to the idle operation state, and the negative pressure for the brake booster can be secured, so if the engine output is reliably reduced At the same time, the brake operation function can be maintained.
Further, by providing the second stopper, when the accelerator lever is moved in the idle direction by the reversing mechanism, it is possible to prevent the engine from stalling if it is returned too much, and by providing the third stopper, the accelerator lever is opened in the opening direction. The movement of the engine is stopped, and the return operation in the idling direction by the reversing mechanism is surely performed to further prevent the engine from rotating at a high speed and further improve the brake operation function.

Then, the accelerator
By the operation of the reversing mechanism, the accelerator lever 3 is rotated to a position where it comes into contact with the second stopper 5.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 3A and 3C, the accelerator
This is a gap provided to prevent the accelerator lever 3 from returning to the idling position due to an error in the relative position of the link system, an assembly error between the engine side and the accelerator
Therefore, the second stopper 5 is set at a position slightly moved to the Y arrow side from the idling position of the accelerator lever 3.
Since the accelerator lever 3 returns and the engine can maintain the idling state, the negative pressure for the brake booster can be generated, the braking ability can be exhibited, and the engine output can be reduced.
When the pedaling force is released from the brake pedal, the pedal lever 2 is rotated counterclockwise (in FIG. 4) by the return spring 22 to return to the state shown in FIG.

The movement of the device is shown in a schematic diagram.

Accordingly, the accelerator wire 8 is prevented from rotating clockwise by the third stopper 7 in the vicinity of the maximum load position within the allowable use range of the engine.

In this case, the accelerator wire 8 is not forcibly pulled, so that deformation and damage of the link system can be prevented, and durability reliability of the link system can be improved.
Further, since the accelerator lever 3 can be returned to an early time (idling position), the brake operation function can be recovered early, and safety is improved.
In the present embodiment, the gasoline engine is described as an example using the negative pressure for the brake booster as an effect. However, the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal are operated simultaneously in the event of a vehicle emergency, regardless of the form of the brake booster and the engine type. It can be used in vehicles that may
