Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a cuff for a blood pressure information measurement device used by being wound around a living body when measuring blood pressure information, and a blood pressure information measurement device including the same.
Measuring blood pressure information is very important for knowing the health condition of the person. In recent years, for example, measuring systolic blood pressure values, diastolic blood pressure values, etc., which are widely recognized as useful indicators that contribute to risk analysis of cardiovascular diseases such as stroke, heart failure, and myocardial infarction However, the present invention is not limited to this, and attempts have been made to capture the cardiac load, the degree of arteriosclerosis, etc. by measuring the pulse wave.
The blood pressure information measuring device is a device for measuring these blood pressure information, and is expected to be further utilized in the fields of early detection, prevention, treatment and the like of cardiovascular diseases. The blood pressure information widely includes various information on the circulatory system such as systolic blood pressure value, diastolic blood pressure value, average blood pressure value, pulse wave, pulse, and various indexes indicating arteriosclerosis.
In general, a blood pressure information measuring device cuff (hereinafter also simply referred to as a cuff) is used for measuring blood pressure information. Here, the cuff means a band-like or annular structure including an inflatable bag having an inner space that can be attached to a part of a living body. It is used for measurement of blood pressure information by inflating the inflatable and inflatable bag by injecting into the blood pressure and compressing the artery.
Cuffs that are used by being worn on a living body include those that are wound around the wrist, those that are wound around the upper arm, and those that are wound around the ankle. Are known.
In particular, wrist-type cuffs that are wound around the wrist and used are disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2009-183629 (Patent Document 1) or Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2010-119447 (Patent Document 2). There are things. In the wrist type cuff disclosed in these
However, when the part where the cuff is to be worn is the wrist, upper arm, ankle, etc., the tissue near the artery of the part contains a lot of relatively soft biological tissue. Therefore, selectively compress only the artery of the part. Then, the artery of the part is pushed toward the nearby tissue by selective compression, and appropriate arterial compression becomes difficult. As a result, it is difficult to accurately measure blood pressure information.
Therefore, when the wrist, upper arm, ankle, etc. are used as the measurement site, it is necessary not to selectively compress only the artery of the site but to compress more than half of the measurement site with the cuff at least including the nearby tissue. . Therefore, the sense of restraint during blood pressure measurement is very high due to compression of the measurement site by the cuff.
Further, when the measurement site is compressed with a cuff more than half a circle in this way, the vein whose internal pressure is lower than the blood pressure (inner pressure of the artery) is closed, and congestion occurs on the peripheral side from the site during blood pressure measurement. Etc., which could cause pain to the subject.
Therefore, the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and can restrain the measurement subject and can measure blood pressure information with high accuracy without causing pain to the measurement subject. An object of the present invention is to provide a cuff for a blood pressure information measuring device and a blood pressure information measuring device including the same.
In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present inventor has focused on adopting a foot of a portion including an instep and a sole located on the toe side of the toe as a measurement site to which the cuff is attached. The foot dorsal artery extends to the site, and blood pressure information can be measured in the same manner as when the wrist, upper arm, ankle, or the like is the site to be measured by compressing the foot dorsal artery.
Thus, even when the artery is selectively compressed by using the dorsal artery, which is a relatively hard living tissue such as a bone or tendon, as the measurement site, the artery is adjacent to the artery as described above. The blood pressure information can be measured accurately, the veins near the measurement site can be reduced, and the congestion on the peripheral side can be reduced, resulting in the subject being measured The feeling of restraint and pain can be reduced.
However, when using the dorsal artery as the measurement site, the cuff for compressing the artery is attached to the foot including the instep and the sole located on the toe side of the toe. The part including the instep and sole where the cuff is worn is flat and distorted compared to the wrist, upper arm, ankle, etc. There is a problem that it becomes difficult to press. More specifically, the instep located at the part is gently inclined from the heel side toward the toe side, and a concave arch is located at the sole located at the part.
For this reason, when the cuff fixing method used by being wound around the above-mentioned part is applied as it is to a conventionally known wrist-type cuff, upper arm-type cuff, ankle-type cuff, etc. The cuff rises with the expansion, causing a problem that the cuff position shifts and the measurement accuracy is greatly reduced. In particular, when the foot dorsal artery is selectively compressed, the cuff is wound and fixed in a state of covering the arch located at the sole of the foot, so that the cuff is lifted or misaligned.
Accordingly, the present inventors have devised a blood pressure information measurement device cuff and a blood pressure information measurement device including the same as described below in order to solve the problem.

FIG. 7 is a diagram showing an operation flow of the control unit of the sphygmomanometer according to the present embodiment. Next, the operation flow of the control unit of the sphygmomanometer in the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. The program according to this flowchart is stored in advance in the
When measuring a blood pressure value, a user who is a person to be measured wears the
Next, the
Next, the
When the blood pressure value is calculated in step S <b> 105, the
Thereafter, the
In the
Therefore, when the fixing
Therefore, by adopting the above configuration, it is possible to reduce the restraint on the person to be measured, and the sphygmomanometer cuff capable of measuring the blood pressure value with high accuracy without causing pain to the person to be measured and the same are provided. It can be a sphygmomanometer.
8 and 9 are diagrams showing another operation flow and still another operation flow of the control unit of the sphygmomanometer according to the present embodiment. The operation flow of the control unit shown in FIG. 7 described above is to start pressurization of the fixing
The operation flow of the control unit shown in FIG. 8 measures the blood pressure value by simultaneously starting pressurization of the
In step S202, the internal pressure of the
When the blood pressure value is calculated in step S203, the
It should be noted that another pressurization measurement method or decompression measurement method can be employed using an operation flow that is similar to the operation flow of the control unit shown in FIG. In this case, pressurization of the
The operation flow of the control unit shown in FIG. 9 starts the pressurization of the
Next, the
Next, the

The
Of these, the pressurizing

(Embodiment 2)
The cuff for a blood pressure information measurement device according to the second embodiment of the present invention is a cuff for a foot type sphygmomanometer that is used by being wound around the above-described
FIG. 14 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing a mounted state of the pulse wave cuff in the present embodiment. First, the structure of the cuff for a pulse wave meter in the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. The cross section of the foot shown in FIG. 14 is a view when the left foot is viewed from the distal side toward the central side, and an exterior cover that covers most of the surface of the cuff for easy understanding. Is not shown.
As shown in FIG. 14,
Here, the

FIG. 15 is a diagram showing a functional block configuration of the pulse wave meter in the present embodiment. Next, with reference to this FIG. 15, the structure of the functional block of the pulse wave meter in this Embodiment is demonstrated.
As shown in FIG. 15, pulse wave meter 1C in the present embodiment includes a main body 10C in addition to the above-described
The light emitting
When the

FIG. 16 is a diagram showing an operation flow of the control unit of the pulse wave meter according to the present embodiment. Next, with reference to FIG. 16, the operation flow of the control unit of the pulse wave meter according to the present embodiment will be described. The program according to this flowchart is stored in advance in the
When measuring the volume pulse wave, the user who is the person to be measured wears the
Next, the
Next, the
Next, the
The
The series of operations from step S406 to step S408 is repeated until a predetermined stop condition (for example, input of a measurement stop command by the user, elapse of a set time by a timer circuit, etc.) is established ( If NO in step S409). When a predetermined stop condition is satisfied (YES in step S409), the
Thereafter, the
Even in pulse wave meter 1C in the present embodiment described above and
Therefore, by adopting the above configuration, the restraint on the person to be measured can be reduced, and the pulse wave cuff capable of measuring the volume pulse wave with high accuracy without causing pain to the person to be measured and this It can be a provided pulse wave meter.
Further, in the case of the
In the first and second embodiments of the present invention described above and the modifications thereof, an example in which the cuff is fixed to the foot to be measured using the surface fastener provided on the exterior cover is illustrated. However, as a fixing means, a band-like cuff band, a binding band, a ratchet belt, and the like can be used, and the winding length depends on the circumference of the wrist to be worn. Any device can be used as long as it can be adjusted and the mounting state can be reliably maintained.
In the above-described first and second embodiments of the present invention and the modifications thereof, the expansion / contraction bag contained in the cuff is expanded / contracted by the air as the working body being taken in / out of the expansion / contraction space. However, instead of the air bag, the inflating and deflating bag is a fluid bag that is inflated and deflated when other gas or liquid is taken in and out as an operating body. May be configured, or this may be configured by an expansion / contraction bag that expands and contracts when microbeads and the like are taken in and out as an operating body.
Here, the working body for inflating and inflating the fixing inflatable bag as the second inflatable bag is more difficult to compress than the operating body for inflating and inflating the compression inflatable bag as the first inflatable bag. Then, when the inflatable bag for compression as the first inflatable and inflatable bag is inflated, unintentional compression does not occur in the inflatable bag for fixation as the second inflatable and inflatable bag, and blood pressure information can be obtained with higher accuracy. It becomes possible to measure. More specifically, for example, air is used as an operating body for inflating and inflating a compression inflatable bag as a first inflatable bag, and air is used as an operating body for inflating and inflating a fixing inflatable bag as a second inflatable bag. However, blood pressure information can be measured with higher accuracy by using a liquid such as water or oil that is hardly compressible, microbeads, or the like.
In the second embodiment of the present invention described above, the case where the photoelectric sensor is provided inside the compression air bag has been described as an example, but in addition to this, the photoelectric sensor is provided on the inner surface side of the addressing member. Or a photoelectric sensor may be attached to the surface of the compression air bag.
In the above-described second embodiment of the present invention, the case where a photoelectric sensor is used as the pulse wave sensor has been described as an example. However, as a pulse wave sensor, a weak high-frequency current is applied to a living body. It is also possible to use an impedance sensor configured to be able to detect bioimpedance by applying it to the contact pressure sensor, a contact pressure sensor used in the tonometry method, or the like.
The characteristic configurations shown in the first and second embodiments of the present invention described above and the modifications thereof can naturally be combined with each other as necessary.
Furthermore, in the above-described first and second embodiments of the present invention and modifications thereof, a blood pressure meter that measures blood pressure values such as systolic blood pressure values and diastolic blood pressure values as a blood pressure information measurement device, and volume pulse waves are measured. Although the present invention has been described with reference to an example of a pulse wave meter, the present invention relates to a blood pressure information measurement device that can measure an index indicating arteriosclerosis represented by an AI value, a pulse, an average blood pressure value, an oxygen saturation level, and the like. Of course, its application is possible.
As described above, the above-described embodiments and modifications thereof disclosed herein are illustrative in all respects and are not restrictive.
