Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a circuit humidity adjusting device and a liquid crystal television, and more particularly, to a circuit humidity adjusting device for an electronic apparatus including a circuit board, and a liquid crystal television including such a circuit humidity adjusting device.
In Southeast Asia and other countries, incomes have risen, and LCD TV costs have fallen, and demand for LCD TVs is spreading throughout the world. In these countries, it has been found that in addition to high temperature and humidity, there is a region where the saturation vapor pressure is very high due to substances contained in the air.
In general, electronic devices such as televisions, DVD players, and projectors tend to be vulnerable to high humidity conditions. Therefore, it can be said that it is preferable to be used in a low humidity state.
As a technique for managing humidity, for example, a technique for preventing overdrying of a moisture-proof cabinet using a shape memory alloy is disclosed (see Patent Document 1).
By the way, circuit components inside electronic devices such as liquid crystal televisions in recent years have been miniaturized and have become high density and high definition, and the possibility of circuit operation failures due to migration has become higher than before.
In general, a reliability test is performed so that desired performance can be maintained even at high humidity. However, as described above, in regions such as Southeast Asia, it is practically impossible to specify substances contained in the air in addition to the hot and humid climate. For this reason, there is a possibility that a situation that cannot be avoided by a normal reliability test has occurred. There has been a demand for a technique for reliably operating a circuit even under these adverse conditions. Some presupposed products used in special situations are subject to humidity control, but such products are configured so that the parts to be managed are tightly sealed. Therefore, it has not always been a practical technique to be applied to an electronic device that is a mass-produced home appliance such as a liquid crystal television. Therefore, a new technology that enables humidity management has been demanded. Moreover, by using the technique disclosed in

(1) The liquid crystal television has a structure capable of sealing a portion (circuit board or the like) where humidity control is desired.
(2) Since the liquid crystal television has a high temperature portion such as a lamp module, LED, and power supply circuit during operation, moisture contained in the desiccant disposed inside the liquid crystal television is evaporated by heat generated during operation. .

(4) When the liquid crystal television is not in operation, ventilation between the desiccant and the portion whose humidity is to be controlled is ensured, and the desiccant and the portion whose humidity is to be controlled are kept isolated from the outside. And the humidity of the part which wants to carry out humidity control can be kept low with a desiccant.
By having such a function, it is possible to manage a circuit board or the like that is sensitive to humidity in a low humidity state even in unexpected high temperature and high humidity, and to provide a highly reliable product. . Details will be described below.
FIG. 1 shows a
FIG. 2 is a functional block diagram showing a schematic configuration of the
Furthermore, the

FIG. 3 shows the arrangement of the circuit
The circuit
As shown in FIG. 4, the sealed
Further, the
The air opening / closing
In the vent opening / closing
Specifically, when the
More specifically, as shown in FIGS. 4 (a) and 5 (a), the vent opening / closing
At this time, the
On the other hand, when the
More specifically, as shown in FIG. 4B and FIG. 5B, the ventilation opening / closing
At this time, the
The present invention has been described based on the embodiments. This embodiment is an exemplification, and it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various modifications can be made to combinations of the respective constituent elements and processing processes, and such modifications are also within the scope of the present invention. . For example, the ventilation opening / closing
Furthermore, if the
