Abstract
【解決手段】第1基板と;第1基板と対向するように配置された第2基板と;第1基板と第2基板との間に配置されて有機発光素子を含むディスプレイ部と;第1基板と第2基板との間にディスプレイ部を取り囲むように配置され、第1基板と第2基板とを接合させる密封材と;ディスプレイ部を覆うように密封材の内側に配置され、光変色性材料を含む充填材と;を備え、光変色性材料は、470nm〜490nm波長の光を吸収する第1光変色性材料、及び550nm〜580nm波長の光を吸収する第2光変色性材料を含む有機発光ディスプレイ装置。

Description
前記第1電極141の上部に真空蒸着法、スピンコーティング法、キャスト法、LB(Langmuir−Blodgett)法などの多様な方法を利用して正孔注入層(HIL)(図示せず)を形成できる。
透明なガラス基板(第1基板)上に、第1電極層としてITO(indium−tin oxide)が1.0μmの厚さにコーティングされた透明電極基板を、アセトンとエアガンとを利用してきれいに洗浄した後、その上に絶縁層として、LiFを1.0nm厚さにプラズマ蒸着した。次いで、正孔輸送層として4,4’−ビス(N,N−フェニル−m−トリアミノ)ジフェニルアミン(TPD)を50nm厚さにコーティングし、発光層としてトリス(8−キノリノラト)アルミニウム(Alq3)を50nm厚さにコーティングした。次いで、Alを蒸着して第2電極層を形成させた。
充填材としてエポキシのみを使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同じ有機発光ディスプレイ装置を製作した。

Claims (9)
- 第1基板と、
前記第1基板と対向するように配置された第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に配置されて有機発光素子を含むディスプレイ部と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に前記ディスプレイ部を取り囲むように配置され、前記第1基板と前記第2基板とを接合させる密封材と、
前記ディスプレイ部を覆うように前記密封材の内側に配置され、光変色性材料を含む充填材と、
を備え、
前記光変色性材料は、470nm〜490nmの波長の光を吸収する第1光変色性材料、及び550nm〜580nm波長の光を吸収する第2光変色性材料を含む、有機発光ディスプレイ装置。 - 前記光変色性材料は、下記化学式1の化合物である、請求項1に記載の有機発光ディスプレイ装置。
Ar1及びAr2は、それぞれ独立して下記のグループを表し;
Xは、CまたはNを表し、
*は、結合を表し、
R8は、炭素数1〜炭素数50のアルキル基または炭素数5〜炭素数60のアリール基を表し;
R7及びR9は、それぞれ独立して、非共有電子対、水素、重水素または炭素数1〜炭素数50のアルキル基を表す。 - 前記光変色性材料は、下記化学式2の化合物である、請求項1または2に記載の有機発光ディスプレイ装置。
Xは、CまたはNを表し、
R8は、炭素数1〜炭素数10のアルキル基または炭素数5〜炭素数30のアリール基を表し、
R7及びR9は、それぞれ独立して、非共有電子対、水素、重水素または炭素数1〜炭素数10のアルキル基を表す。 - 前記第1光変色性材料が下記化学式3の化合物であり、
R8は、炭素数1〜炭素数10のアルキル基または炭素数5〜炭素数30のアリール基を表し、
R9は、水素、重水素または炭素数1〜炭素数10のアルキル基を表す。 - 前記第1光変色性材料が下記化学式5の化合物であり、
- 前記第1光変色性材料と前記第2光変色性材料との比率が、1:2〜2:1のモル比である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記充填材がバインダーを含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記充填材がエポキシバインダーを含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光ディスプレイ装置。
- 前記充填材の光変色性材料の含有量が、充填材全体100質量部に対して50〜70質量部である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の有機発光ディスプレイ装置。
