臀部装着用シートとしては、２種類の熱可塑性エラストマーを用いた伸縮性を有する混繊メルトブローン不織布「ＥＬ Ｆｉｎｏ ＥＬ５０００（（商品名）、チッソ株式会社製）」で、目付けが１００ｇ／ｍ２を使用した。
使用した不織布の伸長回復率をＪＩＳ Ｌ１０９６「一般織物試験方法」に準拠して測定した。試験片としては、同じ材質、目付けで、幅２５ｍｍ、長さ２００ｍｍの不織布を別途作製し、不織布機械方向および機械垂直方向について測定した。この試験片を引張試験機オートグラフＡＧ-Ｘ（商品名、（株）島津製作所製）を用いて、チャック間を１００ｍｍに設定し試験片を固定した。引張速度３００ｍｍ／分で１３０ｍｍまで伸長させた後、同じ速度で１００ｍｍに戻し、試験片に掛かる負荷を０とした。その直後、再び同じ速度で１３０ｍｍまで伸長させ、負荷が再び始まる時の伸びた長さをＬｍｍとした。伸長回復率は下記式に従って求めた結果、９８％と充分に高い値を示した。
