Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to, for example, a seal ring attached to a rotating shaft portion and a liquid level detecting device having a seal ring attached to a rotating shaft portion.
Various seal rings that are mounted on the rotating shaft and prevent the intrusion of fluid and foreign matter have been put into practical use. Typical examples include an O-ring having a circular cross section and a seal ring having a substantially square cross section. These seal rings are also used in a rotating shaft portion of a liquid level detecting device installed in a fuel tank of a vehicle or a ship. As a conventional example of a float type liquid level detection device which is one of the liquid level detection devices, there is one disclosed in Patent Document 1.
The float type liquid level detection device disclosed in Patent Document 1 includes a float arm having a float attached to an end thereof, and an arm holder that holds the float arm. The rotation shaft formed on the arm holder is supported by the bearing portion formed on the main body, so that the float rotates around the rotation shaft following the fluctuation of the liquid level. In addition, the liquid-tightness of the float type liquid level detection device is ensured by interposing a V-shaped cross section where three points abut between the rotating shaft and the bearing portion. In addition, as a seal ring interposed between the rotating shaft and the bearing portion, an O-ring, an annular ring having fine irregularities, a seal ring having a substantially square cross section, and the like are generally used.
However, seal rings such as the above-described O-rings and ring-shaped rings made of fine irregularities have low flexibility on the contact surfaces (outer peripheral surface and inner peripheral surface) that are in close contact with the rotary shaft and bearing portion. Easy to adhere firmly. For this reason, the rotation shaft is difficult to rotate and the volume of the float is large in order to obtain a large buoyancy. In addition, in the case of V-rings, the liquid-tightness is maintained by close contact with the air-tight piece portions on both sides of the V-shaped recess, but there is a dislike of the ring itself being too soft, and the tip part is easily damaged by aging. I have a problem.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and provides a seal ring capable of smoothly rotating a rotating shaft while ensuring sealing performance, and a liquid level detection device including the seal ring. In order to achieve the above object, a seal ring according to a third aspect of the present invention is a seal ring having a substantially X-shaped cross section in which grooves are formed on the upper surface, the lower surface, the outer peripheral surface, and the inner peripheral surface. And the depth of the groove formed on at least one of the outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface is deeper than the depth of the groove formed on the upper surface and the lower surface.
In order to achieve the above object, a seal ring according to a fourth aspect of the present invention includes a seal ring having a substantially square cross section, and a plurality of at least a part of an upper surface, a lower surface, an outer peripheral surface, and an inner peripheral surface. In order to achieve the above object, a liquid level detection device according to a fifth aspect of the present invention includes a float that receives buoyancy from a liquid whose liquid level is to be measured and floats in the liquid, and the float is attached to one end. The float arm, a rotary shaft is formed, an arm holder that holds the other end of the float arm, and a bearing portion are formed, and the rotary shaft of the arm holder is inserted into the bearing portion so that the arm An apparatus main body that rotatably supports the holder; and a seal ring that is interposed between the rotating shaft and the bearing portion and prevents the liquid from entering in the axial direction. The seal ring has a substantially square cross section. In the shape, grooves are formed on at least some of the upper surface, the lower surface, the outer peripheral surface, and the inner peripheral surface, and the depth of the grooves formed on some of the plurality of surfaces is The depth of the groove formed on the other surface Remote and wherein the deep.
In order to achieve the above object, a liquid level detection device according to a sixth aspect of the present invention includes a float that receives buoyancy from a liquid whose liquid level is to be measured and floats in the liquid, and the float is attached to one end. The float arm, a rotary shaft is formed, an arm holder that holds the other end of the float arm, and a bearing portion are formed, and the rotary shaft of the arm holder is inserted into the bearing portion, thereby the arm holder. A sliding terminal that slides on the provided circuit board, and a seal ring that is interposed in a storage portion provided between the rotating shaft and the bearing portion and prevents the liquid from entering in the axial direction. For example, the seal ring has an upper surface, a lower surface, an outer peripheral surface, and an inner groove in the peripheral surface is formed, cross-section provided with a seal portion at the four corners is characterized in that it consists substantially X-shaped.
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a seal ring capable of smoothly rotating a rotating shaft while ensuring sealing performance, and a liquid level detection device including the seal ring.
Hereinafter, a seal ring according to an embodiment of the present invention and a liquid level detection apparatus including the seal ring will be described with reference to the drawings.
1 is an exploded perspective view of a liquid level detection device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing the liquid level detection device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. It is a bottom view of the liquid level detection apparatus 1 shown by arrow III-III.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a liquid level detection device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention holds a
The
The
The
The
As shown in FIG. 2, an arcuate
The sliding
As shown in FIG. 3, the
Of the sliding
Next, the
As shown in FIG. 4, the
The
As described above, the storage portion S formed by the gap formed by the rotating
FIG. 6A shows a
As described above, the storage portion S formed by the gap formed by the rotating
Since the
The rotating
Further, since the
In the
Further, since the
As described above, the
As a result, even if a force perpendicular to the axial direction of the
The
In the

In the
In the
The
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various applications and modifications are possible. For example, in the
