Application Example The antistatic ability of the amidinium salt produced in Examples 1 to 8 was measured using an electrostatic charge diffusivity measuring device “NS-D100” manufactured by Nano Seeds Co., Ltd. In this apparatus, a positive or negative charge is forcibly applied to a sample by corona discharge, and then the decay of the surface potential is measured. The fact that the surface potential is attenuated from the initial surface potential at the end of charge application means that the sample is conductive, that is, has an antistatic ability.
In this measurement, a positive or negative charge was applied to the amidinium salt for 120 seconds in a constant temperature and humidity chamber at a temperature of 23 ° C. and a humidity of 50% RH, and then the surface potential was measured for 600 seconds. The results are shown in Table 1.
From the results in Table 1, it can be seen that the amidinium salt of the present invention has an antistatic ability because the surface potential is significantly attenuated even when an electric charge is applied (charged).
