Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a carrier for flying insect traps that attracts and captures flying insects such as flies, mosquitoes, and fly flies, in particular, fruit flies such as Drosophila, flea flies, black fly flies, mushroom flies, and fly flies. It relates to the flying pest catcher.
Conventionally, several traps have been proposed for capturing flying insects. For example, Patent Document 1 (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2002-272344) discloses a flying insect trap that is a container provided with an insect entrance and contains a water-soluble attractant and a trapping agent that is oil or fat. Although described, there were problems such as liquid spilling and larvae being generated in the container, causing discomfort to the user. The subject of this patent document 1 includes various flying pests such as house flies, and in the examples, an intrusion port having a diameter of 0.8 cm (50 mm 2 ) is described. That wasn't true.
Patent Document 2 (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2009-112197) includes a main body having an opening through which a flying pest can enter, and a medicine that contains a pest-attracting component and is contained in the main body. Discloses a pest trap or the like that constitutes an escape prevention material formed in a foam shape having a predetermined viscosity. However, these pest traps require the use of a specific escape prevention material, are complicated in construction, and, for example, have not been fully studied on the specifications of the opening.
Furthermore, Patent Document 3 (Patent No. 4430121) describes a pest trapping device in which a large number of gel particles containing a pest attractant are contained in a layer in a container having an opening. Clarification of the trapping effect caused by the entry of fruit flies. Pest traps that use gel particles are somewhat inferior in capture performance to liquid pests that make flying pests easily lick drugs, but they have the advantage that they do not spill and the appearance of the pests.
On the other hand, some ideas for improving the attraction performance by improving the shape of the container have been proposed. For example, according to Patent Document 4 (Japanese Patent No. 4463325), if a linear protrusion is provided on the inner surface of the container so as to project toward the drug, the flying pests are attracted to the drug while traveling upward. It is said that However, all the examples of Patent Document 4 use gel particles as a drug carrier, and it is unclear whether such means is appropriate for a drug carrier rich in wettability. As described above, for the type using a drug carrier having high wettability other than gel particles, for example, although it is advantageous in terms of capture performance, it is useful for the ecology and habits of flying pests, particularly the fly flies. At present, not only studies based on it but also the suitability of drug carriers are not fully studied.
The present invention is a carrier for a flying pest trap equipped with a chemical holding body rich in wettability, excellent in the wet state, and has a high attracting effect over a long period of time against flying pests, particularly fly flies. It is an object of the present invention to provide a carrier for a flying pest capturing tool exhibiting capture efficiency and a highly convenient flying pest capturing tool using the same.

The present invention has been found that the following constitution has an excellent effect for achieving the above-mentioned object.
(1) A nonwoven carrier to which a liquid-absorbing polymer is added, the bulk density of which is 0.1 to 0.3, and a liquid pharmaceutical composition containing an insecticidal component and an attracting component is maintained in a wet state. Possible carrier for flying insect traps.

(3) The carrier for flying insect traps according to (1) or (2), wherein the liquid absorbing polymer has a particle size of 100 to 600 μm.
(4) The carrier for flying insect traps according to any one of (1) to (3), wherein the liquid-absorbing polymer is sodium polyacrylate and the nonwoven fabric carrier is mainly pulp.
(5) The carrier for flying insect traps according to any one of (1) to (4), wherein the liquid pharmaceutical composition further contains a moisturizing component.
(6) The carrier for flying insect pests according to any one of (1) to (5) is stored with a chemical solution holder in which the liquid pharmaceutical composition is held in a wet state. A flying pest trap that combines a lid with an opening.
The carrier for flying insect traps of the present invention is excellent in sustaining the wet state of the chemical solution holder, and exhibits a high attracting effect and capture efficiency for flying insects, particularly fly flies, over a long period of time. The flying pest catcher was very useful because it was easy to use.
The present invention adds a liquid absorbing polymer as a carrier for flying insect traps capable of holding a liquid pharmaceutical composition containing an insecticidal component and an attracting component in a wet state for a long period of time without causing liquid leakage. It is characterized by adopting a nonwoven carrier having a density of 0.1 to 0.3.
Conventionally, it has been known that a chemical solution holder rich in wettability is more advantageous than gel particles in terms of capturing performance of flying insects, but there are many problems in commercialization. For example, even if a liquid absorbent non-woven carrier used in disposable paper diapers, sanitary napkins, etc. is applied, special chemicals such as insecticidal and attracting ingredients are used for flying insect traps. It took trial and error to develop a carrier that satisfies both liquidity and retention.
However, the present inventors have intensively studied, and by using a nonwoven fabric carrier having a specific specification and bulk density, the impregnated drug composition is kept in a wet state for a long period of time, and a volatile attracting component. It has achieved high capture performance against flying pests.
The liquid-absorbing polymer used in the carrier for flying insect traps of the present invention includes starch-based, cellulose-based, synthetic polymer-based, etc., starch-acrylic acid (salt) graft copolymer, isobutylene-maleic acid A copolymer, an acrylic acid (salt) polymer, polyethylene oxide crosslinked with acrylic acid, a crosslinked product of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, and the like can be mentioned, but a sodium polyacrylate is preferable because of its excellent liquid absorption performance.
Such absorbent polymer is suitably added to the nonwoven carrier at a rate of 40400 g / m 2. If it is less than 40 g / m 2 , the liquid absorbency is poor. On the other hand, if it exceeds 400 g / m 2 , the weight is excessively undesirable.
Further, since the liquid-absorbing polymer is uniformly added in a dry manner to the non-woven carrier, a granular polymer is easy to use, and the particle size is preferably about 100 to 600 μm. If it is smaller than 100 μm, there is a risk of deviating from the non-woven fabric carrier.
The nonwoven fabric carrier used in the present invention may be composed of any fiber material as long as it is a material having liquid absorbability, and examples thereof include pulp, wool, rayon, polyethylene, nylon, polyethylene terephthalate and the like. Among them, those mainly composed of pulp are preferable, and composite fibers obtained by combining other fibers with these may be used. In general, a configuration in which an inner layer having a smaller bulk density is sandwiched between somewhat dense outer layers is generally used, but of course a single layer configuration may be used.
In the present invention, a liquid-absorbing polymer is added to such a nonwoven fabric carrier to form a carrier for flying insect traps, and the bulk density is defined as 0.1 to 0.3. When the bulk density is less than 0.1, it is difficult to keep the liquid pharmaceutical composition containing the insecticidal component and the attracting component in a wet state for a long time, while when it exceeds 0.3, the retention performance of the pharmaceutical composition May be inferior, or a problem may occur due to excessive addition of the liquid-absorbing polymer.
In the present invention, the carrier for a flying insect trap is stored in a tray portion with a liquid medicine composition that holds a liquid pharmaceutical composition to be described later in a wet state, and the tray portion and a lid portion having an opening portion are assembled. Combined with the flying pest catcher.
Examples of the insecticidal components constituting the pharmaceutical composition used in the present invention include neonicotinoid-based insecticidal components such as dinotefuran, imidacloprid, clothianidin, natural pyrethrin, allethrin, framethrin, praretrin, resmethrin, phthalthrin, transfluthrin, metfurthrin, phenothrin, Pyrethroid insecticides such as ciphenothrin, permethrin, cifluthrin, etofenprox, organosilicon insecticides such as silafluophene, organophosphorus insecticides such as fenitrothion, diazinon, marathon, prothiophos, and oxadiazole insecticides such as methoxadiazone Pyrazole insecticides such as fipronil, insect growth control agents such as pyriproxyfen and hydroprene, among others, dinotefuran and imidaclopri , Neonicotinoid insecticidal component such as clothianidin are preferred. In particular, dinotefuran is suitable, and about 0.01 to 1.0% by mass is blended in the pharmaceutical composition.
Some of the above insecticidal components originally have repellent properties, but they may be used within a range that does not affect the attracting performance of the attracting components.
Attracting ingredients include brewed vinegars such as balsamic vinegar, wine vinegar, black vinegar, beer, wine, brewed liquor such as Shaoxing liquor, katsuobushi flavor, roasted sugar flavor, sesame oil flavor, shrimp flavor, onion flavor, cabbage flavor, nuka flavor , Flavors such as miso flavor, roasted shoyu flavor, and maple essence, various fruit extracts, fermented products of vegetables and fruits, and the like, and may be appropriately selected according to the type of target flying pest.
The range of 1.0-30 mass% is suitable for the compounding quantity of this volatile attractant component, and a high attraction effect can be acquired with this compounding ratio.
Of course, sugars such as tri-warm sugar and brown sugar, and feeding attractants such as yeast, honey, egg powder, and pupa powder may be blended.
The pharmaceutical composition used in the present invention is preferably further blended with a moisturizing component in addition to the insecticidal component and the attracting component in order to maintain the moist state more stably. Examples of moisturizing ingredients include aliphatic polyhydric alcohols, sugar alcohols such as sorbitol, thickening polysaccharides such as xanthan gum, water-soluble solvents having a boiling point of 200 ° C. or higher, surfactants, and the like. Alcohols, sugar alcohols, and thickening polysaccharides are preferred. Examples of such aliphatic polyhydric alcohols include glycerin, propylene glycol, triethylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol, hexylene glycol, and the like. Among these, glycerin is preferable. For example, when only a highly volatile solvent such as ethanol is used, the retention and stabilization effect in the wet state as shown by the glycerin cannot be obtained.
Usually, water is further blended to prepare a liquid pharmaceutical composition, but other components can be appropriately added as long as the attractiveness is not hindered. Examples of such components include stabilizers, preservatives, dispersants, bittering agents such as Vitrex, and various auxiliary components such as pigments.
A number of gel-like flying pest traps have also been proposed. However, in the configuration of the present invention, it was confirmed in the test that liquid is more advantageous in terms of trapping ability.
The amount of impregnation of the pharmaceutical composition thus obtained is, for example, about 10 to 100 g in the case of a non-woven carrier having a rectangular shape with a length and width of about 50 mm and a side end face thickness of 1 to 10 mm.
The flying pest trapping tool to which the carrier of the present invention is applied can be variously used. For example, the lid portion having an opening is fitted on the hollow top surface of the tray portion containing the chemical liquid holder. Things can be raised. Hereinafter, such a flying insect trap will be described.
Examples of the material of the tray part include plastics such as polyester (PET), polyester / polyethylene (PET / PE), and polypropylene (PP), metals, and glass. Molded products are preferred. The shape and size are arbitrary, but for example, a cup-shaped one having a diameter of 4 to 10 cm and a height of about 2 to 5 cm is easy to use, and it is usually easy to fit the lid around the hollow top surface. In addition, a flange portion having a width of several millimeters is provided for a seal described later. In addition, a fixing piece for storing the chemical liquid holding body is provided at the bottom of the tray section, and the chemical liquid holding body is preferably stored with a gap from the inner side surface of the tray section. By adopting such a configuration, it is possible to provide a situation in which flying pests, in particular, fly flies stay on the side end face of the chemical solution holder exposed in a wet state and are easily licked, thereby contributing to an improvement in capture performance. In addition, although the side surface and bottom part surface of a plastic-made tray part may be flat, you may form in arbitrary cross-sectional shapes, such as an uneven | corrugated pattern, for example.
The flying pest capturing tool of the present invention preferably has a hollow top surface covered with a barrier film in order to prevent the volatile attraction component from evaporating from the chemical solution holder in the tray before use. The flange portion is used for sealing. Here, examples of the barrier film include those obtained by laminating PET or PP on an aluminum film layer, but are not limited as long as barrier properties can be imparted and peel properties are excellent.
On the other hand, the lid portion has an inverted cup shape that normally includes an attracting portion and a base portion, and an injection molded product using a plastic such as PP is suitable for the present invention. The attracting part located above may be flat or concave, or the attracting part and the base part may form a dome shape continuously without a boundary. Furthermore, it is possible to imitate the shape of an animal or a leaf to give design.
Further, the attracting part is generally installed in parallel to the hollow lower end surface of the base part, but in the process of proceeding with the present invention, it is better to provide an angle between the attracting part and the hollow lower end surface. It was found that it is more efficient in terms of attracting performance.
The installation method, number, shape, and size of the opening as a pest entrance are not particularly limited, and may be determined as appropriate. Of course, there is no problem even if it is a normal type in which a plurality of circular openings having a diameter of about 2 to 20 mm are installed in the attracting part, but for example, the attracting part is installed inclined with respect to the hollow lower end surface of the base part. In this configuration, the attraction part is formed as a concave area recessed inward, and the edge part and the concentric opening having a width of about 2 to 8 mm are alternately arranged from the central part to the periphery of the concave area. Can be adopted. And it is also possible to install the light reflection part which attracts a flying insect by reflecting external light in the connection part which connects an opening part mutually, and it is also possible to improve attraction performance. Furthermore, if an opening is also provided in the base portion so as to act as a vent for introducing outside air, the volatile attracting component can be efficiently diffused and the attracting performance can be improved.
The edge portion refers to a member having a projecting cross section that protrudes outward, and is newly introduced in the present invention on the basis of ecology and habits that flying insect pests, especially fly flies are likely to stop here. It is a thing.
In preparing the drug solution holder, a known conventional method can be appropriately adopted. However, a method of filling the pharmaceutical composition after fixing the nonwoven carrier with a fixing piece provided at the bottom of the tray portion is easy. In addition, if the chemical solution holding body is covered with, for example, a lattice-shaped plastic piece having a large opening, it not only helps to fix the chemical solution holding body, but also the flying pests, particularly the fly flies, can stop here and easily lick the chemical solution. It is more effective because it provides.
In addition, as the drug composition gradually evaporates from the surface and side end face of the drug solution holding body, the drug composition moves from the inside of the drug solution holding body to the surface and side end face to compensate for this. The volatilization contribution from the side end face is also great. Therefore, in the present invention, it is preferable to store the chemical solution holding body in a state where at least a part of the side end face thereof is exposed, or by providing a gap with the inner side surface of the tray portion. This is based on the habit that flying insect pests, especially fly flies, tend to stay on the side end face of the porous medicinal solution holding body exposed in a wet state after descending along the inner side surface of the tray part. Advantages based on the exposed state or the gap cannot be obtained with a preparation of a type in which gel particles are filled in close contact with the inner surface of the tray portion.
According to Patent Document 4, if a linear protrusion is provided on the inner surface of the tray portion so as to project toward the medicine, the flying pests are attracted to the medicine while traveling on it, and thus are effective. However, in this invention, the effect by another factor is large and the necessity of installing a linear protrusion part was not recognized.
As described above, the packaging form of the flying insect trap of the present invention is preferably a method in which the hollow top surface of the tray portion is sealed with a barrier film, and the barrier film is peeled off during use and then the lid portion is fitted. On the other hand, a configuration in which the tray portion and the lid portion are fitted in advance and the whole is sealed with a barrier film may be adopted. However, in this case, if the fitting is not complete, the medicine from the tray portion is stored during distribution storage. It is necessary to be more careful because the composition may leak or the drug composition may adhere to the opening and affect the attraction performance and capture performance.
When using the flying insect trap of the present invention, it is only necessary to place it on the kitchen, cupboard, in the vicinity of the trash can, on the soil of the flower pot, or the like. Examples of target pests include flying insects such as flies, mosquitoes, and fly flies, and are particularly effective for fly flies such as Drosophila, flea flies, mushroom flies, mushroom flies, and fly flies. The attracting performance and capturing performance of the product of the present invention usually last for about 1 month, although depending on the type and amount of the pharmaceutical composition.

After the barrier film sealed in advance on the tray portion 10 was peeled off, the lid portion 20 was fitted and used on the kitchen floor. As a result, the product of the present invention maintained excellent attraction and capture properties against fruit flies such as Drosophila and fleas for about one month.
According to Example 1, the carrier for flying insect traps shown in Table 1 and the flying insect trap using the same were prepared. In addition, the sodium polyacrylate type | system | group was used as a liquid absorptive polymer, and it added to the support | carrier (50 square mm x thickness 2mm) made from a pulp nonwoven fabric. In addition, the components other than those listed in Table 1 in the pharmaceutical composition are obtained by blending dinotefuran 0.1% by weight as an insecticidal component, brown sugar, molasses, bitter agent, preservative, and purified water. 25 g of the drug composition was impregnated into a carrier to obtain a drug solution holding body 30.
With respect to various flying pest capturing tools shown in Table 1, the following tests were conducted using Drosophila.
[Test method]
A test trap was placed at the center of the inner surface of an acrylic cylinder having a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 20 cm, and the lid was capped. 50 Drosophila were released over time, and Drosophila killed in the trap was counted and the capture performance was examined. The results are shown in Table 2. The capture performance evaluation was based on the following criteria.
◎; 31 or more, ○; 11-30, △; 6-10, ×; 0-5
As a result of the test, the flying insect pest capturing tool of the present invention maintained a high attracting effect against Drosophila and excellent capturing performance over a long period of time. That is, using a carrier for flying insect traps to which a liquid-absorbing polymer is added and whose bulk density is 0.1 to 0.3, preferably contains an aliphatic polyhydric alcohol such as glycerin as a moisturizing component. The usefulness of the product of the present invention based on the drug solution holding body that holds the drug composition is clear. The liquid-absorbing polymer is added to the nonwoven carrier at a rate of 40 to 400 g / m 2 , and the particle size is preferably 100 to 600 μm. For example, when the particle size is less than 100 μm, the nonwoven carrier support is prepared. At times, there were concerns about partial deviation of the liquid-absorbing polymer.
On the other hand, as in Comparative Example 1, when the liquid-absorbing polymer was not added to the non-woven carrier, the amount added was small even when added, and the bulk density of the obtained carrier for flying insect traps was 0.1. When less than (Comparative Example 2), the sustainability of the capture performance was poor. On the other hand, as in Comparative Example 3, the bulk density of the carrier for flying insect traps exceeds 0.3 because the amount of the liquid-absorbing polymer added is large, and as in Comparative Example 4, the particle size exceeds 600 μm. When a liquid polymer was used, the trapping performance was poor, and excessive swelling caused inconvenience. Moreover, from the test result of Comparative Example 5, it was recognized that in the configuration of the present invention, the liquid composition is preferable to the gel form as the pharmaceutical composition.
The carrier for flying insect traps and the flying insect trap using the same according to the present invention are extremely useful for controlling flying insects, and may be applicable to other insect pests.
