Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an optical filter mounted on an imaging apparatus such as a digital camera or a video camera.
ビデオカメラ或いはデジタルスチルカメラ等の撮像系には、CCD(Charge Coupled Device)やCMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)センサ等から成る撮像素子が搭載されている。 An imaging device such as a CCD (Charge Coupled Device) or a CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) sensor is mounted on an imaging system such as a video camera or a digital still camera. These image sensors have sensitivity in a wide wavelength region, and have sensitivity not only in light in the visible wavelength region but also in light in the infrared wavelength region that cannot be seen by the human eye. In ordinary camera applications, light in the infrared wavelength region is unnecessary. An infrared cut filter or the like that shields light in the infrared wavelength region is disposed on the incident light side of the image sensor to prevent infrared light from entering the image sensor.
The infrared cut filter has a reflection type that uses interference of the thin film by laminating multiple thin films with different refractive indexes, and an absorption type that absorbs unnecessary infrared light by metal ions and pigments that absorb infrared rays. There are things.
In general, a reflection type infrared cut filter is produced by forming a multilayer film on a transparent substrate by vacuum deposition, IAD, ion plating, sputtering, or the like. On the other hand, absorption-type infrared cut filters are manufactured by kneading metal ions, pigments, or the like into glass or resin, or applying them onto a transparent substrate.
However, the reflection type infrared cut filter has a high reflectivity of about 50% at the half-wavelength of infrared light (infrared light wavelength at which the transmittance is about 50%), which is caused by the wavelength around this half-wavelength of infrared light. Ghosted light can be a problem.
Moreover, as an absorption type infrared cut filter, as shown in
The infrared cut filter produced in this way hardly causes image quality degradation due to ghost light, like the filter of
Therefore, a hybrid type infrared cut filter utilizing the advantages of each of the reflection type and absorption type has been proposed. For example, Patent Documents 4 and 5 combine a light-absorbing structure obtained by dispersing a dye having an infrared light-absorbing action in a resin binder and a near-infrared light-reflecting structure formed by a laminate of thin films having different refractive indexes. An infrared cut filter is disclosed.
However, Patent Documents 4 and 5 do not describe the arrangement position of the light absorption structure although the environmental stability is remarkably deteriorated in the configuration in which the light absorption structure is a surface layer.
In general, the light absorption structure is formed by a wet film formation method such as spin coating, and the near-infrared light reflection structure is formed by a dry film formation method such as vacuum deposition. . The wet film forming method has a larger film thickness error than the dry film forming method, and the error of the design value with respect to the spectrum is increased depending on the position where the light absorption structure is provided. As a countermeasure, it is conceivable to provide a light absorption structure so as to be in contact with the substrate.
The refractive index of a generally used substrate and binder is relatively close, and when designing a film, the substrate and the light absorbing structure can be regarded as almost integrated.
In such a configuration, that is, when the light absorption structure has a configuration in which both the substrate and the near-infrared light reflection structure have an interface, the light absorption structure is composed of the substrate and the near-infrared light reflection structure. Adhesion with both sides is required. However, as a result of investigation, it has been found that there are very few resin binders that satisfy this adhesion.
Further, as means for reducing changes in the characteristics of the dye due to the environment, Patent Documents 6 to 7 disclose dyes with improved durability. However, when these dyes limit the spectral characteristics or are used by dispersing the dye in a binder, sufficient durability can be obtained if the durability of the dye is improved but the binder is not durable enough. There is a problem that can not be.
An object of the present invention is to provide an optical filter that solves the above-mentioned problems, has good adhesion to a transparent substrate and a near-infrared light reflecting structure of a light absorbing structure, and has excellent environmental stability. .
In order to achieve the above object, an optical filter according to the present invention comprises a transparent substrate made of a synthetic resin, a light absorbing structure in which a light absorbing dye is mixed in a binder, and at least one near infrared light reflecting structure. In the optical filter, the binder is a copolymer or block copolymer composed of an organic monomer and a monomer containing an inorganic component, and the near-infrared light reflecting structure includes two or more kinds of inorganic thin films having different refractive indexes. The light absorption structure is laminated, and both the transparent substrate and the near infrared light reflection structure have an adhesive interface.
In the optical filter according to the present invention, the light absorption structure has both organic and inorganic properties, and has an adhesive property to both the transparent substrate made of an organic material and the near infrared light reflection structure made of an inorganic thin film. Can be improved.
The present invention will be described in detail based on the embodiments shown in the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram of an
As the
Considering heat generated during the
In the present embodiment, the

In this example, 1.0% wt cyanine-based dye is used as the light-absorbing
The light-absorbing
As the organic / inorganic hybrid binder, a copolymer polymer of an ester monomer and a monomer having a siloxane bond is used, but is not limited thereto. The binder may be selected from organic and inorganic components that are compatible with the
The glass transition point Tg of the binder is preferably higher than the temperature at which the
Further, when the organic / inorganic hybrid binder is thermally cured, the curing temperature is preferably equal to or lower than the glass transition point Tg of the
A copolymer polymer of a monomer having a siloxane bond and an organic monomer, or a block copolymer polymer is almost transparent even when compared with a polymer composed only of an organic component.
The water vapor transmission rate of the organic / inorganic hybrid binder in this example is 3 g / m 2 · day or less. Since the organic / inorganic hybrid binder used in this example is a liquid resin, a solvent is not necessarily required. However, when adjusting the viscosity, ketone solvents such as MEK and MIBK (methyl isobutyl ketone), hydrocarbons such as cyclohexane and toluene, esters such as methyl acetate and ethyl acetate, diethyl ether, tetrahydrofuran and the like In consideration of the solubility and volatility of the dye, an ether solvent, an alcohol solvent such as methanol and ethanol, and an amine solvent such as dimethylformamide may be used alone or as a mixture of two or more. Moreover, when using a solid thing as an organic / inorganic hybrid binder, it is necessary to make it melt | dissolve in the above solvents.
In addition, although the spin coat method was used for film formation of the
In addition, the organic / inorganic hybrid binder used in this example was thermally cured, but depending on the type of the organic / inorganic hybrid binder, other active energy rays such as visible light, electron beam, plasma, infrared rays, ultraviolet rays, etc. It can be cured. The irradiation amount of active energy rays should just be the energy amount which hardening of a resin composition advances. Furthermore, you may add polymerization initiators, such as a thermal-polymerization initiator, a photoinitiator, an electron beam hardening initiator, as needed. By adding an antioxidant such as phenol, binderd phenol, amine, binderd amine, sulfur, phosphoric acid or phosphorous acid, deterioration of the dye may be reduced.
The near-infrared
As shown in FIG. 2, the
The near-infrared
Further, when a synthetic resin film such as Arton is used as the
The near-infrared
The
Thus, in Example 1, the

From Table 3, the effect manifests somewhat depending on the terminal group of the olefin monomer substrate, but the adhesion is improved by copolymerizing with the olefin monomer compared to the acrylic monomer alone. From this, it can be seen that the adhesion is improved by including in the binder a monomer of the same system as the monomer constituting the

In Table 2, it can be seen that the organic / inorganic hybrid binder used in Example 1 has a remarkably small shift amount (nm) of the infrared half-value wavelength in the high-temperature and high-humidity test as compared with the polyester binder and the acrylic binder. This is because the organic / inorganic hybrid binder has a lower water vapor transmission rate than a polyester binder or an acrylic binder, and the pigment dispersed in the binder is less likely to come into contact with water vapor.
