Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a surface sheet of an absorbent article and a method for producing the same.
Conventionally, in a surface sheet of an absorbent article such as a sanitary napkin or a disposable diaper, by adjusting the distribution of the hydrophilic region in the plane direction and / or the thickness direction, a low wetback, a low liquid residue on the skin, and the like are achieved. Things are known.
For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a surface sheet in which a hydrophilic region in which a hydrophilizing agent is applied to a skin contact surface and a large number of hydrophobic regions surrounded by the hydrophilic region are formed, The surface sheet of the absorbent article having a hydrophilic region in the surface sheet has a lower hydrophilicity on the non-skin contact side than the hydrophilicity on the skin contact side.
Patent Document 2 discloses a fiber sheet having a concavo-convex structure, where the top of the convex portion is hydrophobic, and the hydrophilicity of the portion excluding the top is stepwise or continuously from the top to the bottom. Fiber sheets for absorbent articles that are tall are described.
Patent Document 3 discloses a nonwoven fabric having a single layer structure in which one surface (skin contact surface) has an uneven shape, and the top portion of the thick portion on the uneven surface is hydrophobic and has a thickness from the top portion. A nonwoven fabric whose hydrophilicity gradually increases toward a thin part or its vicinity is described. In Patent Document 3, the nonwoven fabric is formed by subjecting a web containing “fibers whose surface hydrophilicity is reduced by heating” to be described later to hot air treatment.
In the surface sheet described in Patent Document 1, the hydrophilicity on the non-skin contact side is lower than the hydrophilicity on the non-skin contact side, and a continuous high hydrophilicity region is not formed on the non-skin contact side and penetrated in the thickness direction. No highly hydrophilic region is formed. For this reason, the liquid mobility in the thickness direction from the skin contact side to the non-skin contact side is weak, and there is a concern about wetback and surface liquid residue during large-scale excretion.
Moreover, in the fiber sheet of patent document 2 and the nonwoven fabric of patent document 3, the bodily fluid adhering to the vertex of the convex part which has hydrophobicity certainly moves easily from the vertex of a convex part to the bottom part with higher hydrophilicity by the uneven structure. . However, since it is the apex of the convex part having hydrophobicity that comes into contact with the skin, it is difficult to take in a small amount of liquid into the skin contact side without leaving even a small amount of liquid. Also, Patent Document 2 and Patent Document 3 do not describe a highly hydrophilic region penetrating in the thickness direction.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a surface sheet of an absorbent article that not only realizes low wetback during large-scale excretion but also can eliminate a slight liquid residue on the skin surface.
The present invention relates to a surface sheet of an absorbent article having a substantially constant thickness formed using a fiber assembly mainly composed of fibers whose surface hydrophilicity is reduced by heating, the skin contact side and the non-skin contact Each of the contact sides has a highly hydrophilic portion and a low hydrophilic portion, and each of the high hydrophilic portions is formed continuously in a plane direction, and each of the low hydrophilic portions is the hydrophilic portion. Absorption that is surrounded by a high degree portion, the average hydrophilicity on the non-skin contact side is higher than the average hydrophilicity on the skin contact side, and the high hydrophilic portion penetrates in the thickness direction The object is achieved by providing a surface sheet of an adhesive article.
In addition, the present invention provides a method for producing a surface sheet of an absorbent article as described above by applying hot air treatment through a masking material to a web or nonwoven fabric containing fibers whose surface hydrophilicity is reduced by heating. It is.
The surface sheet of the absorbent article of the present invention and the surface sheet of the absorbent article produced by the production method of the present invention not only realize low wetback during large-volume excretion, but also a slight liquid residue on the skin surface. Can also be resolved.
Hereinafter, a surface sheet of an absorbent article according to the present invention and a manufacturing method thereof will be described based on a preferred embodiment thereof with reference to the drawings.
The
First, based on FIG.1 and FIG.2, the manufacturing method of the
The
Here, “fibers whose surface hydrophilicity is reduced by heating” are a core-sheath type composite fiber having a sheath part made of polyethylene resin and a core part made of a resin component having a melting point higher than that of the polyethylene resin, and the core-sheath type composite fiber And a hydrophilizing agent adhering to the surface of the resin, and those described in JP 2010-168715 A (Patent Document 3) are used.
As the polyethylene resin constituting the sheath of the core-sheath type composite fiber, low density polyethylene (LDPE), high density polyethylene (HDPE), linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), etc. can be used, but the density is 0.935. A high density polyethylene of ~ 0.965 g / cm 3 is preferred. The resin component constituting the sheath is preferably a polyethylene resin alone, but other resins can also be blended. Other resins to be blended include polypropylene resin, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH), and the like. However, as for the resin component which comprises a sheath part, it is preferable that 50 mass% or more in the resin component of a sheath part is 70-100 mass% especially polyethylene resin.
The polyethylene resin constituting the sheath part imparts heat-fusibility to the core-sheath type composite fiber and plays a role of incorporating a hydrophilizing agent described later during heat treatment.
The polyethylene resin constituting the sheath part preferably has a crystallite size of 100 to 200 mm, more preferably 115 to 180 mm, from the viewpoint of surely causing a change in the hydrophilicity of the fiber surface. The upper limit value of 200 mm of the crystallite size is determined from the viewpoint of mechanical properties such as tensile strength and elongation at break. If the crystallite size is within 200 mm, the number of crystals is not reduced and the mechanical properties are not lowered. The method for measuring the crystallite size is the same as that described in JP 2010-168715 A (Patent Document 3).
A core part is a part which provides intensity | strength to a core-sheath-type composite fiber, As a resin component which comprises a core part, the resin component whose melting | fusing point is higher than a polyethylene resin can be especially used without a restriction | limiting. Examples of the resin component constituting the core include polyolefin resins such as polypropylene (PP) (excluding polyethylene resin), polyester resins such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). Furthermore, polylactic acid resins, polyamide-based polymers, and two or more copolymers of the above-described resin components can also be used.
Of these combinations, it is preferable to use polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET). A plurality of types of resins can be blended and used. In this case, the melting point of the core is the melting point of the resin having the highest melting point.
Further, the difference in melting point between the melting point of the resin component constituting the core part and the melting point of the resin component constituting the sheath part (the former-the latter) is preferably 20 ° C. or more because the production of the nonwoven fabric is facilitated. The difference in melting point is preferably within 150 ° C.
The core-sheath type composite fiber is preferably a fiber whose length is increased by heating. Examples of the heat-extensible fiber include a fiber that spontaneously extends as the crystal state of the resin changes due to heating. The heat-extensible fiber exists in the

Various known methods such as a card method, an airlaid method, and a spunbond method may be used as a method for obtaining a web from fibers mainly composed of “fibers whose surface hydrophilicity is reduced by heating”, but the card method is desirable. .
Further, as a method for forming the web into a non-woven fabric, a known method such as a heat fusion method, a needle punch method, a solvent bonding method, or a spun bond method may be used, but a heating step is included in order to achieve the effect of the present invention. Preferably, the heat fusion method of heating in the nonwoven fabric forming step is preferable.

In the present embodiment, the masking net 171 may be made of any material such as metal, resin, or rubber, but preferably has certain heat resistance and durability.
However, the masking net 171 is required to have a predetermined pattern for forming a highly hydrophilic portion 13 (hereinafter abbreviated as a highly hydrophilic portion 13) that is continuous in the planar direction of the

The distance between adjacent hole portions 202 (the width of the band-shaped portion of the masking portion 201) is desirably in the range of 2 to 30 mm. It is desirable that at least the gap of the masking net 171 is larger than the gap of the
FIG. 2B is a partially enlarged view showing the masking net 171 and the
Based on FIG.2 (b), a mode that the
As described above, since the
As indicated by the thin line arrows, the

Subsequently, the
The definition of the
Moreover, the level of hydrophilicity is synonymous with the magnitude of the contact angle, and the high hydrophilicity means that the contact angle is small. In the present application, the hydrophilicity is expressed by a contact angle.
Further, the correspondence relationship between each surface of the
As described above, as shown in FIG. 3A, in the

Further, the fiber fusion strength of the non-skin contact side 11 (masking net 171 side) where the passage amount of the
As described above, as shown in FIG. 3A, the thickness of the
Next, the influence of the masking net 171 that thickens the
In the case where the masking net 171 and the
As shown in FIG. 5A, the
The
The
Based on FIG. 6, the effect of the hydrophilic distribution of the
As described above, since the thickness of the
Further, since the highly
Further, the average hydrophilicity of the
Further, since the
Moreover, since the area of the planar direction of the highly
In addition, since the fiber fusion strength on the skin contact side 11 (conveyor net 173 side) is relatively high, the fluffing on the
Moreover, in the manufacturing method of the surface sheet which concerns on this embodiment, by forming a fiber assembly, such as a web and a nonwoven fabric, and performing a hot-air process while overlapping a masking material on it, said effect is not required without requiring a complicated apparatus.
As mentioned above, although the surface sheet of this invention was demonstrated based on the preferable embodiment, this invention is not restrict | limited to embodiment mentioned above.

In the embodiment, the masking net 171 is the “masking material in which a portion having air permeability and a portion having no air permeability are mixed” of the present invention. However, the masking material of the present invention is not limited to the mesh body, and is formed on the
Further, the planar pattern of the masking material is not limited to the above-described lattice shape, and it is sufficient that the masking portion is continuous in the planar direction and has a hole surrounded by the masking portion. For example, the masking portion may have a rhombus lattice shape, a shape where curves intersect, a spiral shape, or the like. The shape of the hole may be an arbitrary shape such as a circle, ellipse, triangle, quadrangle, pentagon, hexagon, heart shape, etc. The number may be reduced to a predetermined location.
Further, the absorbent article according to the surface sheet of the present invention may be a panty liner (a descending article sheet), an incontinence pad, a disposable diaper, a hygiene pad, a nursing pad, etc. as an absorbent article other than a sanitary napkin.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to examples. However, the scope of the present invention is not limited to such examples.

[Evaluation]
About the nonwoven fabric (surface sheet) obtained in Examples and Comparative Examples, the hydrophilicity of the low hydrophilicity part, the hydrophilicity of the high hydrophilicity part, respectively, on the skin contact side and the non-skin contact side, by the method described later, and Average hydrophilicity was determined. Further, the amount of fluff loss on each of the skin contact side and the non-skin contact side was also measured by the method described later. Furthermore, the absorption rate of equine defibrinated blood and the remaining amount of equine defibrinated blood were also measured by the methods described below. Sensory evaluation of softness and roughness was also performed by the method described later. The results are shown in Table 1.
録画された映像において、繊維に水滴が着滴した最初の画像を、付属ソフトFAMAS(ソフトのバージョンは2.6.2、解析手法は液滴法、解析方法はθ/2法、画像処理アルゴリズムは無反射、画像処理イメージモードはフレーム、スレッシホールドレベルは200、曲率補正はしない、とする)にて画像解析を行い、水滴の空気に触れる面と繊維のなす角を算出し、接触角とする。
[Measurement method of contact angle]
The contact angle of water with respect to the fiber is measured by the following method. As a measuring device, an automatic contact angle meter MCA-J manufactured by Kyowa Interface Science Co., Ltd. is used. Distilled water is used for contact angle measurement. The amount of liquid discharged from an ink jet type water droplet discharge part (manufactured by Cluster Technology, Inc., pulse injector CTC-25 having a discharge part pore diameter of 25 μm) is set to 20 picoliters, and a water drop is dropped directly above the fiber. The state of dripping is recorded on a high-speed recording device connected to a horizontally installed camera. The recording device is preferably a personal computer incorporating a high-speed capture device from the viewpoint of image analysis or image analysis later. In this measurement, an image is recorded every 17 msec. In the recorded video, the first image of water droplets on the fiber is attached to the attached software FAMAS (software version is 2.6.2, analysis method is droplet method, analysis method is θ / 2 method, image processing algorithm Is non-reflective, the image processing image mode is frame, the threshold level is 200, and the curvature is not corrected). Image analysis is performed to calculate the angle between the surface of the water droplet that touches the air and the fiber, and the contact angle And

[Measurement method of fiber fusion strength]
The fiber fusion strength is defined by the amount of fluff loss shown below. When the amount of fluff is large, the fiber fusion strength is low, and when the amount of fluff is small, the fiber fusion strength is high.

[Defibrillated horse blood absorption rate]
The surface sheet was removed from a commercially available sanitary napkin (trade name “Laurier Sarah Cushion Skin Clean Absorption”) manufactured by Kao Corporation. Instead, the nonwoven fabrics of Examples and Comparative Examples were laminated and the periphery was fixed and evaluated. A sanitary napkin for use was obtained.
On the surface of the sanitary napkin, an acrylic plate having a permeation hole with an inner diameter of 1 cm is overlapped, and a constant load of 1.1 g / cm 2 is applied to the napkin. Under such a load, 3.0 g of defibrinated horse blood is poured at once from the perforation hole of the acrylic plate. At this time, using a stopwatch, the time from immediately after pouring defibrinated horse blood until the defibrinated horse blood disappears from the permeation hole is measured, and this is taken as the absorption time. At this time, when the absorption time is less than 2 seconds, ◎ is from 2 seconds to less than 5 seconds, ◯ is from 5 seconds to less than 10 seconds, and Δ is from 10 seconds to 10 seconds.

[Remaining amount of defibrinated horse blood]
Under such a load, 3.0 g of defibrinated horse blood is poured from the permeation hole of the acrylic plate. The acrylic plate is removed 60 seconds after pouring the horse blood, and then the weight (W2) of the nonwoven fabric is measured. The difference from the weight (W1) of the nonwoven fabric before pouring horse blood is measured in advance. (W2-W1) is calculated. The above operation is performed three times, and the average value of the three times is defined as the remaining liquid amount (mg). The smaller this value, the better. At this time, the case where the average of three times is less than 40 mg is marked as ◎, 40 mg or more and less than 60 mg as ◯, 60 mg or more and less than 100 mg as Δ, and 100 mg or more as x.
From the results shown in Table 1, in the nonwoven fabrics (surface sheets) shown in Examples 1 to 4, each of the skin contact side and the non-skin contact side has a portion with high hydrophilicity and a portion with low hydrophilicity, It can be seen that the average hydrophilicity on the skin contact side is higher than the average hydrophilicity on the skin contact side. Further, since the hydrophilicity is high not only on the non-skin contact side but also on the skin contact side in a portion corresponding to the masking
And in the surface sheet of an Example, the absorption rate of equine defibrinated blood is larger than the surface sheet of a comparative example, and liquid remaining amount is less than the surface sheet of a comparative example. Therefore, it can be seen that the surface sheet of the example is easier to draw body fluid into the surface sheet than the surface sheet of the comparative example, and the diffusion of the liquid to the absorber is performed smoothly.
Moreover, in the surface sheets of Examples 1 to 4, the fiber fusion strength on the skin contact side was higher than that on the non-skin contact side. In the surface sheet of the example, the fiber fusion strength on the non-skin contact side is lower than the surface sheets of Comparative Examples 1 and 2, and the non-skin contact side can be configured to be softer than the surface sheets of Comparative Examples 1 and 2, It turns out that the high flexibility of the whole surface sheet can be maintained. This is also supported by sensory tests for softness and roughness.
