Abstract
【解決手段】前側軸に沿って延びた前部42を備えたボディ40と、約45°で下方及び後方へ傾斜した軸へ延びた後部44と、手の小指を受けるために内方に湾曲した底面22を備えた中間部46を有する。使用者の親指がリッジの一部分及び溝に適合するように、ボディの前部は、頂上のリッジ72の対向した両側に形成された1対の溝76を有する。掌用のパッド30は、頂上のリッジの後方に接してあり、ラッチを操作するように使用者の掌で機械的に押し下げられる。

Claims (8)
- 使用者の手で把持し電気レシーバ(14)へ挿入し、この電気レシーバ(14)に係合されるための電気コネクタであって、
このコネクタは、水平となる主前側軸(60)を有する前部(42)を備えたボディ(40)を有し、且つ前記電気レシーバに主前側軸方向へ挿入されることが可能であり、
このコネクタは、前記電気レシーバに挿入された前記コネクタを維持するように係合されることが可能であるラッチを有し、
前記主前側軸が水平となったときに、下方及び後方への傾斜(A)で傾くボディの前記後部及び後側軸(62)に沿って延びたケーブルの前端部において、このボディは、電気ケーブル(12)の前端部を保持する後部(44)を有し、
前記ボディは、底面(22)を備えた中間部(46)を有し、この底面(22)は、手の親指以外の複数の指を受けることが可能であり、
前記ラッチの機構は、前記ボディの頂上にあり、前記ボディに回動可能に装着された掌用のパッド(30)を有し、
この掌用のパッドは、パッドの後部を有し、使用者の同じ手の掌と、親指以外の複数の指と、で前記電気コネクタを把持している使用者によって容易に押し下げられるように、上方側にばねで付勢されている前記パッドの後部を有する、電気コネクタ。 - ボディの前記前部(42)は、前記主前側軸(60)に対して平行に延びて直立したリッジ(72)を備えた上面を有し、
使用者の親指は、前記リッジの上に達し、1対の溝(74,76)の一方中に位置し得るように、この上面は、前記主前側軸に対して平行に延びた前記リッジの対向した両側に形成された前記1対の溝(74、76)を有し、
ボディの前記中間部は、使用者の人差し指(I)が底面(22)に対して容易に添えることが可能であるような、前記ボディの下方側にある横軸(66)を中心として湾曲した前記底面(22)を有する、請求項1の電気コネクタ。 - ボディの前記底面は、この底面の下方側へ1/2乃至2インチ(約1.27乃至5.08センチメートル)離された横軸(66)を中心として湾曲した湾曲領域を有する、請求項1の電気コネクタ。
- ボディの前記中間部は、直径1.75乃至2.75インチ(約4.45乃至6.98センチメートル)の円(70)上にある円形下部の半円を有する、請求項1の電気コネクタ。
- 手で把持し電気レシーバに挿入されるような電気コネクタであって、
前部及び後部(42、44)を有し、
この前部は、主前側軸(60)を有し、
前記後部は、前記主前側軸に対して約45°下方及び後方へ延びている後方軸を有するボディと、
このボディの前記後部の後端からこの後方軸に沿って延びた前端部を有する電気ケーブル(12)と、を具備し、
前記ボディは、前記前部及び後部の間にあるボディの中間部(46)を有し、
この中間部は、片手で電気コネクタを把持するように使用者がボディの前記中間部の周囲で180°以上を親指及び人差し指で包むことが可能である幅及び高さを有する、電気コネクタ。 - 前記ボディに装着され、このボディの前記中間部及び後部の頂上(33)にある押し下げることが可能な掌用のパッド(30)と、
前記電気レシーバに係合し、且つ前記掌用のパッドの押し下げによって動作されるように前記掌用のパッドに連結されたラッチ(32)と、
を有する、請求項5の電気コネクタ。 - 前記主前側軸に対して夫々平行に延びたリッジ及び溝を有するボディの前記前部は、直立したリッジ(72)と、
前記リッジの対向した両側に形成された溝(74、76)と、を形成している頂上を有する、請求項5の電気コネクタ。 - ボディの前記中間部は、前記主前側軸に対して垂直に、且つ直角に交わる横軸(66)、即ち底面の約1インチ(約2.54センチメートル)下方側にある横軸を中心として湾曲された前記底面(22)を有する、請求項5の電気コネクタ。
