Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、鉄製の鍛造品からなる粗材30の内面にニッケルリンめっき層50が形成され、粗材30の外面に非金属製の塗膜40が形成されたフューエルデリバリパイプ20の製造方法であって、粗材30の外面に塗料をコーティングすることで、塗膜40を形成する外面コーティング工程と、塗膜40が形成された粗材30にドリル加工を施すことで、粗材30の内部に機械加工面33を形成する機械加工工程と、ドリル加工が施された粗材30をニッケルリンめっき液中に含浸させて無電解めっきを施すことで、機械加工面33にニッケルリンめっき層50を形成するニッケルリンめっき工程とを備えたところに特徴を有する。

Description
塗料はエポキシ樹脂系塗料であり、外面コーティング工程では、カチオン電着塗装により塗料が粗材の外面にコーティングされるようにしてもよい。
このようにカチオン電着塗装によると、ピンホールがなく膜厚が均一で密着性のよい厚い塗膜を形成することができる。特に鍛造品である粗材は、めっき処理がしにくいため、カチオン電着塗装が好適である。
本発明の実施形態を図1ないし図7の図面を参照しながら説明する。まず、本発明における燃料系部品の全体構造について図1ないし図4の図面を参照しながら説明する。図1は、燃料系部品が自動車10の車体11に取り付けられた状態を示す断面図である。燃料系部品は、燃料タンク12とエンジン13の間で燃料が接触する接触面を有する部品である。具体的には、燃料系部品は、燃料タンク12、燃料供給ポンプ14、燃料移送管P1、燃料移送管P2、燃料帰還管P3、フィルタ15、圧力調整装置16などを備えて構成されている。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施形態も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)上記実施形態では燃料系部品の製造方法としてフューエルデリバリパイプ20の製造方法を例示しているものの、本発明によると、燃料タンク12、燃料移送管P1,P2、燃料帰還管P3などの製造方法に適用してもよい。

Claims (4)
- 鉄製の鍛造品からなる粗材の内面にニッケルリンめっき層が形成され、前記粗材の外面に非金属製の塗膜が形成された燃料系部品の製造方法であって、
前記粗材の外面に塗料をコーティングすることで、前記塗膜を形成する外面コーティング工程と、
前記塗膜が形成された前記粗材に機械加工を施すことで、前記粗材の内部に機械加工面を形成する機械加工工程と、
前記機械加工が施された前記粗材をニッケルリンめっき液中に含浸させて無電解めっきを施すことで、前記機械加工面に前記ニッケルリンめっき層を形成するニッケルリンめっき工程とを備えた燃料系部品の製造方法。 - 前記塗料はエポキシ樹脂系塗料であり、前記外面コーティング工程では、カチオン電着塗装により前記塗料が前記粗材の外面にコーティングされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料系部品の製造方法。
- 燃料を通す燃料通路が内部に形成された燃料系部品であって、
鉄製の鍛造品からなる粗材と、
前記粗材における前記燃料通路側の面に形成されたニッケルリンめっき層と、
前記粗材における前記燃料通路とは反対側の面に形成された非金属製の塗膜とを備えた燃料系部品。 - 前記塗膜は、エポキシ樹脂系塗料をカチオン電着塗装により前記粗材の外面にコーティングしたものであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の燃料系部品。
